Is it bad? I'm playing the 2nd and it's a lot of fun.
Lack of care
It's ok, but a very noticeable step down from RE2R. Gameplay itself is solid but the level design is complete ass. It's essentially a linear action shooter which gets incredibly repetitive.
> it's a lot of fun
Poor anon unaware of how busted it is.
>killing that random ass zombie in the morgue
Just walk around lol. What are you doing wasting bullets on a zombie in an area you won't be coming back to?
>trying to kill one of the 5 zombies with the biggest HP pool in the game
>with a shit DLC handgun
kek
kek. that zombie has the highest hp in the entire game. and the devs only did it to frick with you.
>muh high HP
ok morons and how is the average player supposed to know this without reading a guide? the game never says zombies have random hp values
>Sitting down and explaining all the hidden mechanics of a game that is meant to surprise and spook you
It's a horror game, pussy. Why would they lay out the entire game bare to you when they want to get you offguard?
You sound like the kind of guy who goes into the comments of youtube videos to see jumpscare timestamps.
defending bulletsponges in any game is pathetic senpai tbh
Just use the shotgun
down and explaining all the hidden mechanics of a game that is meant to surprise and spook you
bulletsponges have literally nothing to do with scariness.
and the only surprise here is that devs still think that random nonsense like some zombies having randomly more hp despite being shot in the head multiple times, is a good thing.
frick, thr only reason you even know about it, is exactly due to people wanting to know wtf is up with that shit
>Wow these reanimated corpses have so much HP! This is unrealistic! REAL zombies die to headshots!
I can't with you morons anymore. Keep saying critically acclaimed games are bad while they sell gangbusters and you just stew in anger
>Wow these reanimated corpses have so much HP! This is unrealistic! REAL zombies die to headshots!
I see people still try to bring this bullshit to the table...
Then what is your gripe? These monsters could have infinite HP, the object of the game isn't to kill them all.
The point is that you're missing the point.
A) I didn't say the game was bad, I said random bulletsponges are bad
B) i don't care how much bullets it takes to kill a fictional creature, but I care about internal consistency. if one zombie dies with 3 shots to the head then all should
C) being fictional doesn't mean it has to be moronic
skill issue
>headshots don't matter at all in RE
this is why I will never play these shitty games
>muh crit chance
frick off
>headshots don't matter at all in RE
Unless it's a big shotgun or magnum, no shit they don't matter. If the game made headshots auto-kill zombies the enemies would be trivial and make zombies a non-threat. Headshots and legshots are mostly best used to stun zombies so you can get around them.
/v/irgins can't into game balance.
Hell most of them think gameplay is canon.
I've seen this moronic take a few times now.
How else do you make zombies a threat? If you could run around headshotting everything for an insta-kill, you'll have removed all threats in the RCPD building in about 10 minutes. I swear you morons should just stick with CoD or something.
>How else do you make zombies a threat?
I agreed. Like, what's next? Give them machetes and make them ride motorcycle? Jesus
Boomers be like YOOOO this combat FIREE SHIIIIEEEEEETTTT
It's bad compared to RE2 in every single aspect. From gameplay, to characters, to story, to the main enemy. They even fricked the dismemberment system.
its a 2 hour game and half of it is scripted chase sequences
no this isnt hyperbole
It's not bad, but it's unacceptably short.
rushed probably? especially since wasn't alot of content from og 3 gutted?
>especially since wasn't alot of content from og 3 gutted
No. Only the police station which was like 1/6 of the game
homie the clocktower wasn't even an area in the remake. It's mentioned but you never even step foot inside. Same with a lot of areas in the second half of OG RE3
Reread the post to which I was replying.
>Wasn't a lot of content from the original game gutted?
>No.
How are you not incorrect here?
Oh, I actually misread that first post. I thought it was saying something along the lines of "wasn't a lot of original RE3 an asset flip of 2". Wtf? I'm not even ESL?
Telling me to reread the fricking post when you didn't even read it properly to begin with.
I-I just woke up 🙁
disingenuous moron
They did exactly the same thing as with DEmake2:
Chopped down more than half of the game and its replay value, fricked up the story and characters, and streamlined the gameplay for the modern TLOU audiences.
I just bought it for the giant booba Jill mods.
Don't need to buy it for that
Still better than 4-6.
B team worked on it
>we got them with RE2r
>now we can relax and cash in lol!
The usual greed play
>That final Nemesis boss fight
It's either the easiest fricking fight in the game, or the most frustrating piece of shit to exist depending on the difficulty setting. You either kill him in 30 seconds or get stun locked to death. Whoever designed that shit should be promoted to being the janitor.
Feels like that's the entire game, a protracted boss fight with nemesis or a chase scene with nemesis. I missed out on og re3 so this is my first exposure to it and well....Jill looks hot atleast
>I missed out on og re3
You should emulate it then. OG RE3 handles Nemesis way better than the remake. There's even the seamless HD mod, which isn't perfect but helps clean things up.
https://www.reshdp.com/re3/
I think I've got it on a thumbdrive for the ps mini. I'll check and see later, it's been over a year since I've touched that thing so I may as well play with it.
OG RE3, well it did many things different.
Firstly nemesis is an entire game stalker, he is on your ass all the time
Secondly it has multiple choice decisions where you can fight or flee from nemesis
Then if you actually do "kill" him he drops all the OP weapon upgrades.
REmake 3 skipped out entire sections of the game, really good sections too like the gas station and clock tower, and it reduced nemesis to being a stalker in the first section then scripted events every time after that
What’s the seamless HD mod? I already have the mods that were available. Is this new?
I was never a fan of classic Resident Evil but last week I emulated 2 and quite enjoyed it (Normal, Leon A and Claire B). Now I'm trying to decide what I'll play for Halloween, either buy 2/3 Remake (looks cool on video although I might lose interest halfway through) or emulate original RE3 (which, even if I don't like, it's for free)
It's funny to me how kids seethe about REm3, when I already hated everything about the REm2. Guess now they know how us oldgays felt with this shit. I dread to think how Blooper will frick up SH2.
you showed crapcum they can do shit like demake2 and drones will defend them and they followed the same logic
I played RE1 & RE2 on the PSX back in the day but never got round to RE3. I thought I played Remake 2 and thought it was good, are the problems with Remake 3 only obvious to those who played the original?
yes, they cut like half the content
Shame, RE2 was well made, did RE3 get rushed through development? Anyway I've got it installed, just not got round to playing it yet.
It came out one year after RE2R, people were saying that 2 and 3 were being developed along side each other but you can tell when playing it that's just not true.
>RE2 was well made
1998 game was.
The 2019 butchering was awful.
Maximum delusion
What's worse is I'll bet money you didn't play the original on release and you spout this shit like your opinion means fricking anything
Agreed.
People who didn't play the original was it was relatively new and innovative have opinions that mean nothing in regards to the remake
That's what gets me about this "Old good new bad" bullshit.
Most of the people saying this shit never even bought these games, they emulated them more than a decade later, then they have the balls to call me, the guy that actually played this shit before thousands of people told me to do it, some kind of "Zoomer" or act like I didn't play them because I don't just dicksuck the game dry.
It's infuriating seeing literal teenagers post this shit when they don't even have a fricking income like they mean ANYTHING
Not playing the original on release makes our opinions MORE worthwhile because it shows that we're not nostalgiagays.
>uhhh but I'm and old crusty moron and *I* liked the remake
Nobody cares, homosexual. You play any normie FotM game that comes out. You did it in the 90s and you do it now. You have no taste.
>makes our opinions MORE worthwhile
The absolute DELUSION of zoomers
OG RE2 is easily the weakest of the trilogy.
People are gonna get mad but I agree.
RE2 just felt like a dumbed down RE1 and RE3 despite being more action oriented was fun because of it
This and I'm sick of pretending it isn't.
Setting is way better than "muh mansion" though
I'm sure you'll like it more if you've not played the original, but even compared to RE2R it's lacking. Shorter, nemesis doesn't have the same presence as Mr X because almost every Nemesis encounter is 100% scripted, more linear design, it's just a step back in a lot of ways.
That being said, I thought it was an absolute blast from beginning to end, I had a lot of fun with it and I do recommend it despite its shortcomings.
>are the problems with Remake 3 only obvious to those who played the original?
No. It's indeed mostly DEmake2 gays crying about worse gameplay and even shorter campaign.
Classic RE1-3 fans do not give a shit about these demakes.
Take your meds, Michael. You're shitting yourself
people wanted the original with better graphics and it wasnt
people wanted the original improved with better graphics. not shit with resident evil name slapped on the cover
Well, people are idiots, the word is Remake, not Upgrade.
>Remake
Replacement.
Capcom is content with throwing the originals into the trash. I swear half of the criticism would disappear if Capcom just ported OG RE1, 2 and 3 to PC.
should have called it demake since its even lower quality than a game from 30 years ago
>people wanted the original with better graphics and it wasnt
That goes for all game remakes. I don't understand why devs can't get this through their skulls.
Shadow of Collosus did this and everyone hated it.
>Shadow of Collosus did this and everyone hated it.
Everyone is not "some moron on Ganker sperging put because the shadows of trees fall in a slightly different angle".
Not only was it well received, but also successfull.
I wonder why.
Jill is literally made for 3D blender porn
It's a remake of a mediocre video game.
Made by a B team in tandem and using assets from REmake 2
Quite clearly directed as "lets make this one more action orientated that 2" which OG 3 was, but they just made it into an action game, barely utilized any mechanic from the OG game and just cut it down in size to be complete ass
They turned Nemesis into a scripted event.
it was scripted? because getting him following me all the time like demake2 MrX was enough shit
Yes. Every Nemesis encounter is scripted.
It was literally meant to be DLC for REmake2 but it ended up delayed and they decided to make it a full priced standalone. Its why it came out just a year after REmake2, it was always going to be low effort.
Capcom was never gonna sell a remake of 3 for anything under 60 dollars no matter how much they skimped on production
Because the core game they made this from was already unfinished. RE2R works so well because it has a fantastic base to work from with the original game, and all they did was streamline it, improve some aspects like Mr. X while removing or streamlining other segments.
They did almost the exact same thing with RE3: Streamlined it, smoothed things out, etc. But since RE3 didn't have a good base to work with, smoothing out the game only made it worse. They also majorly fricked up by making Nemesis a scripted enemy that rarely gets to actually chase you outside of cutscenes or selected areas. Mr. X felt so scary because he was a looming threat you could come across at any time in the police department. If they expanded that by making Nemesis be potentially anywhere, he could have been an amazing antagonist.
>What the hell happened?
Remake of 1 was far superior to the original. Remake of 2 was far superior to the original. Remake of 3 was far inferior to the original. All that happened was that I am now utterly convinced they will botch the most important of all the remakes (4, which is the best action game ever made by an enormous margin).
>Go 2/3
>Village moron bets against you.
I'm about to make a killing against TORtanictards
Can't wait for when they vanish 1 week after the game comes out because they get laughed out of every single thread, again
>Remake of 2 was far superior to the original
Absolutely vile taste
>Muh zapping no one knew about
Most people that played RE2 didn't even know about Mr.X because he's exclusive to side B
>Absolutely vile taste
I played the original when it first came out. I was a teenager. The game was fricking incredible to play. However, the remake is subjectively and objectively better.
REmake 2 isn't far superior to the original, but I do think REmake 2 really helped polish the game up. It's not like REmake 1 where its such a drastic improvement that you don't really need to play the original RE1 unless you feel nostalgic, REmake 2 and RE2 both have qualities that make them better than the other. It's probably the best example of a complimentary remake out there.
I prefer the original RE1 over the remake, everytime I play the remake I just end up wishing I was playing the original.
Elaborate.
The remake just feels bloated to me, I prefer the simpler puzzles and design of 1. And I just find the idea of crimson heads annoying.
Did you by any chance play a lot of RE:DS? I feel similarly to RE1, even if I still consider REmake to be the superior game.
1. house is fricking moronic. the house in original RE1 feels more like a house the Remake house feels like theme park haunted house.
2. the cutscenes is even more censored than the censored cutscenes in 1.
3. door animations are slower than the original and counted on your play time. the slow opening door animations make it more infuriating to replay over and over compared to original
4. little route deviation between characters compared to the original
I can see some people who played the original first and preferred that one. REmake is objectively better, but it does not have the same overall feel RE1 has, which has a more uncanny sense to me.
The original zombie encounter in RE1 is far more disturbing than it is in REmake
No I played the remake first and went back to the original afterwards.
same. for me Deadly Silence is the best version of the original
I got hopes for 4, mostly because of the new knife mechanics that will drastically change gameplay. The knife used to be the best weapon in the game because you could just down enemies by stunning them, kicking them down, and knife them to death. By making the knife your defensive tool as well, they can force it to break and make you lose this very important weapon. It's going to feel like a different experience with that single change alone.
>Remake of 2 was far superior to the original.
removes content in your path
>NOOOOOOOOO I CANT LEAVE A CLIP BEHIND FOR THE OTHER MC SO MUCH CUT CONTENT
>half the enemy variety
>half the character interactions
>cut marshalling yard and other areas
>literally impossible to die on the way to the police station
>zapping system
>music locked behind a fricking paywall
You need to see a professional about your coprophilia anon.
>NOOOOOO NOT MY ZAPPING SYSTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM
>4, which is the best action game
Is my favorite Resident Evil, and it's one of the best TPS ever. But "best action game" when we have things like DMC3 or NGB, now c'mon...
NTA but action is such a wide margin. You and I both know what he means
They didn't remake Code Veronica, that's what happened.
Can't believe they skipped that game. Of all the REs, that one needs the most love
They'll do Code Veronica after RE4
No coop. My sister only likes playing coop games
Is your sister a chicken, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
She likes playing with me, we loved 5 and 6
Based onii-chan.
They didnt know to make a good hairstyle for Jill
>What the hell happened?
Capcom doesn't like or have the same reverence for Nemesis that the west had. In the west Nemesis is beloved as a fun recurring unstoppable boss monster that stalks you throughout the entire game. In Japan they fricking hated him and only ever considered him a hindrance in game that is mostly always considered reused assets from RE2 to them.
To Capcom Japan, RE3 is a disposable game, the black sheep of the original game series.
>To Capcom Japan, RE3 is a disposable game, the black sheep of the original game series.
If that were the case, we'd be seeing a Code Veronica remake by now
>Code Veronica is part of the original game series
Clearly why it was skipped completely and they went straight to 4. CV is fricking fan fiction, its a filler story like any of the Revelation games.
All that came of that game was a bunch of inconsequential characters to the lore got killed.
nobody likes Code Veronica which is why we should get a CVmake.
>people wouldn't care if they messed it up
>the plot is broadly fine if a bit badly executed
>legit needs better gameplay
>kind of important to the whole RE story
They only hate it because Sony forced them to make it to finish off the trilogy.
the small team was stitched up by crapcum while everyone else worked on RE8
I liked Operation Raccoon City.
Do you want an honest answer? It exists literally because there needs to be a 3 before a 4. They reused all the assets they could in order to rush this shit so people wouldn't feel weird to jump from 2 to 4.
They took the RE2 Reimagining approach i.e. lazy cash grab designed for "people" too moronic for fixed cameras and tank controls.
It was great. Bought it for $15 and got a couple of play-throughs out of it.
Everyone who likes games should feel obliged to shit on the Remakes of 2&3.
Not because they're not good games. REmake 2 certainly is a great game.
But because both removed content and that shouldn't be acceptable.
"Muh birds absolutely no one would find fun to shoot in OtS"
Getting tired of people that know absolutely nothing about game design running their fricking mouths
>Getting tired of people that know absolutely nothing about game design running their fricking mouths
Just shut up then :^)
>Can't actually argue against the one point I made
Damn, that's all it takes to put you on the ropes?
Still getting RE4make by the way
>first post makes him look like an obnoxious homosexual
>his second move is to flaunt what a consoomer he is
weird move
Is this your attempt at saying "Look everyone else thinks your cringe"
We're not in high school homosexual, I'm a grown ass man, a big boy if you will.
I will be buying RE4make, I will enjoy it, and you will seethe.
Reply again, b***h.
They've been running rings around you mate
Your multiple personalities aren't "They" dumbass
>Getting tired of people that know absolutely nothing about game design running their fricking mouths
Greentexting my argument doesn't work when it makes fun of you
>Getting tired of people that know absolutely nothing about game design running their fricking mouths
the frick has cutting content to do with game design anyway lmao
Yeah how would fighting the birds be any different lmao it's just cut content lmao
Why do the people that know the least get so angry.
Gonna reply 3 times again?
He's probably one of those good goys who think that cutting content is "streamlining the experience".
Frick do I know, these people come literally up with anything to justify cuts.
That is 100% said by a boomer.
I don't know a single person under 40 that actually uses 'running your mouth ' anymore. Literal boomer anger kek
Why do you talk like a twitter troony? Calling for fricking boycotts or some crap because of some shit I don't care about? Suck a dick.
>But because both removed content and that shouldn't be acceptable
True. But granted, it's the #1 criticism towards both games especially 3.
REmake 2 removed a minimal, acceptable amount of content. The fact that they added content in its place and also kept things you'd never think they'd keep, like the Hunk or Tofu missions, is enough for me. I do wish they had more enemies, because the moth would have been a terrifying boss fight if they set it in the dark, but it isn't absolutely needed for this game to work.
REmake 3 fricked up by removing far too much.
Wow, someone on Ganker that isn't an absolutist moron, insane.
I thought RE3 was fine... if you got it on sale for like 20 bucks, but yeah, they didn't do Nemesis justice at all which is what killed it for me, with how they handled X I thought Nemesis was going to be terrifying and instead people are crying about shit like the clock tower
they nerfed nemesis because too many people complained Mr X was opressive in the REmake 2
homosexuals that shouldn't be playing games like this.
At 1/3 of the price, yeah, it would be fine. RE3 is a great 20 dollar game, but not worth 60 in any realm.
I can see how this would confuse someone that buys all their games at 5$ or is so spoiled they think their money is worth way more than what it is
>RE3 is a great 20 dollar game,
Except it isn't.
A butchered DEmake isn't even worth playing for free.
God man, have some fricking standard and self respect you literal troglodyte.
>This level of self aggrandizement
Your time isn't that valuable moron, and if it was, you certainly wouldn't be here impotently screeching because people paid money for a game you don't like.
Get your head out of your ass, loser.
I can't hear you over the embarrassment I feel for you.
Again, no one gives a frick about you dude.
You are not special and your personal feelings aren't the zeitgeist of the website.
Suck my dick
Apparently you do. A lot. You even want to have sexual relations with me.
I can't imagine having onset autism this severe.
I'm riding with Biden again this year
No you're my dick like you ALWAYS DO.
>I'm riding with Biden
Sure you won't rather ride me honey?
>standards
>2022
NO!
LOOK AT REMAKE 4 IT LOOKS AMAZING!
SO NEW!
ILL BUY IT ALREADY AND SAY IT EVERYTIME SOMEONE VOICES THE SLIGHTEST CONCERN ABOUT IT!!!
WOOOO!!
>Wow, someone on Ganker that isn't an absolutist moron, insane.
>follows up with
>I thought RE3 was fine
no anon, you were the moron all along
If you look at it on its own, RE3 is a well made, fun game.
It's when you look at how it compares to the original RE3 that you realise how lacklustre it is as a remake.
RE2make had cut content but what was there was far more complex and bigger than what was in the original. The police station, sewers and lab were far bigger, non-linear and more advanced than the original game. RE2make is a much bigger game than the original RE2, people that claim otherwise are morons. It's also far superior.
t. 36 year old boomer that grew up with the originals.
Black person I always run past the crows on og 2, they are barely a threat anyway
Who cares if it's missing?
It was missing 2 other things that I noticed, which was the Press Room and the sending items through the tube near the entrance. There were probably a few other things too.
>But because both removed content and that shouldn't be acceptable.
In modern gaming it sadly is.
You literally have people defending DEmake 3 in this very thread.
People are so brainwashed, all they want is to buy a new product. They don't give a shit about quality anymore. As long as the new product looks new and shiny.
>Yeah it's flawed but not unplayable
>Getting angry people aren't mindlessly shitting on everything.
So you're a child, okay.
I don't think you're the guy I'm replying to.
I guess you found yourself in the spotlight after I said that people ITT defended 3's remake, and felt obligated to reply due to your raging insecurity.
But I didn't say that people who find it playable are a problem, did I?
I'm responding to someone specifically pointing at cut content.
We're not talking about you obviously.
Stop being so insecure.
Why are you going on and on about insecurity and accusing everyone else of defending something when they admit it's flawed?
It seems to me like you got your own demons to work on man.
You heard me.
>you got your own demons to work on man
Not him but that's the gayest shit anyone could say.
No one has 'demons', they have little morons running around their brains.
>UGGH MY INNER DARKNESS, YOU DON'T KNOW MY DEMONS
You're brain is concave mate, that's all there is to it.
it was outsourced or something, wasn't it? that's probably why. it was basically a glorified expansion pack made on a small budget.
>watch Arino play the first game on Game Center CX DVD special
>emulate OG second and third game
Feels good man, I started playing the franchise until 4 so I'm catching up and now I'm ready for REm4ke
It got about as much dev time as the original did. RE3 was always cursed.
Kino.
REmake 3 only needed a proper, Mr. X styled Nemesis to chase you through the city and it would have make the game far more memorable. I remember the torrent of Mr. X memes back when the game launched, and you never got that amount of response from Nemesis due to the fact his presence is almost entirely restricted to small boss fights.
Well the problem with that is that there isn't a city for him to chase you around in, just linear streets and alleyways. The whole design of the game is different, it's built from the ground up to be linear and more scripted.
>there isn't a city for him to chase you around in, just linear streets and alleyways
completely true. i was surprised at how linear the beginning of RE3make was, how they removed the zoo and the clock tower. basically they removed the good parts from the PS1 game.
Yeah, the game was just not built for it I guess. It's still doable, but they would have to craft an entire city block and pretty much build the game around that area for it to work.
It's baffling to me how they thought that would work when people loved REmake 2 for its exploration. I would have enjoyed having to go through apartment complexes, diners, stores, maybe even a grocery store or shopping mall, and especially the zoo, which would have been a highlight in the remake for me.
Ironic how in the originals Mr. X was the very limited one and Nemesis was the one with all the unique encounters.
>Autist multi replies to posts that make him seethe
>schizo poster is also paranoid
Literally mind broken
What do you want my attention so badly for?
Spit it out
Just making fun of you. You remember this right? From school.
No one made fun of me in school because I'm like 6'1''.
You on the other hand are a keyboard moron replying to yourself in ass rage because you know nothing about video games and have been replying to yourself for like an hour.
ok boomer
Figured out I was built like Adonis and decided he was scared LOL
Actually you've been to talking to me
So if I am understanding correctly with RE2 remake capcom had a moment of genius and designed an actually interesting game with good level design but with RE3 they just returned to the RE6 formula? (Which will presumably continue with the RE4 remake honestly)
Well you gotta consider that two different teams made 2 and 3, and that 2 had much more time in development than 3.
The team that made 2 is making 4, and they've had more time than 3 did, so I'm certain it'll at least end up being good.
So he won't even reply to me, just replies to himself.
Mental illness takes another I guess
Capcom believed they were invincible after Monster hunter World and Remake 2 and as long as the game is built with their new fancy engine, people are gonna eat it up, so they tried to ride the wave of success without putting as much effort in.
It's a weird ass company, honestly. So brilliant and yet they just can't help but shoot themselves in the foot from time to time.
>people defended DEmake 2
>people defended DEmake 3
>people will defend DEmake 4
And then they complain that nothing really hits the same anymore as they swing from one soulless remake to another, always hoping the next one will be better, never learning.
I did more than defend, I bought all 3!
Hahahahaha!
Unlike this attention starved consoomi I didn't buy a single one.
>pirated Remake 2
>saw they cut content and restructured the game(in a bad way) and removed differences from the routes
>didn't even bother with 3 because I heard it's even worse
Now I see people excited for 4 and all I can do is shake my head
>Bought 3
>You pirated 1
Looks like voting with my wallet worked again
>people defended DEmake 2
Because it was a good game.
>people defended DEmake 3
No they didn't. People who liked 2 were massively disappointed by 3.
>No they didn't
I did. Still do actually.
>Because it was a good game.
It was, but not as good as it should've and could've been.
Keeping the original route dynamics in place would've made the remake perfect.
I actually fear for 4's remake because the game is choking on details.
defended DEmake 3
>No they didn't.
It's a fun 7/10, so?
I liked OG RE3 even more than OG RE2 back in the day. They just did not care and did my game dirty, and it's looking the same way for RE4.
Besides cutting out half the content of the first game? They made Jill an unlikable b***h on some girl power shit who has to be an butthole to everyone even if they save her life. Even her VA is saying moronic phrases like "mansplain" in interviews so you can guess why Jill's dialog is annoying at times.
What the FRICK Jill!?
RE3 doesn't even need a remake. It's a great game on its own. It doesn't really lack QoL features or anything.
Remake 2 had more care out into it and it's noticeable, but si had more fun with 3
>b-but muh missing sections!
I don't give a frick
I don't give a frick
I don't give a frick
Same for FF7R or any other remake. You want it to be like the original? Then stop being moronic and play the original, it takes seconds to install any of these games for free
>but I already play them a lot!
We all did, that's why remakes doing stuff differently is a good thing
>We all did, that's why remakes doing stuff differently is a good thing
Remakes cutting out massive, memorable parts without adding anything new of equal fun while also changing the core identity of a game is not a good thing and you're a moron for pretending otherwise.
Just say "Iconic" next time so my filter can pick you up
have a nice day, subhuman.
Why are you angry? You're clearly not even trying to have a discussion, you just want to repeat your opinion ad infinitum and get asspats from other morons.
I'm simply removing you from my equation and removing myself from yours, you get your mindless dicksucking replies and I don't see you.
>You're clearly not even trying to have a discussion
>Remakes cutting out massive, memorable parts without adding anything new of equal fun while also changing the core identity of a game is not a good thing
>I'm a homosexual
>Can't stand having an opinion that doesn't dicksuck his own
Reddo might be more your speed, I heard they love b***hing about shit over there too
>you're not trying to discuss it
>no, talking about specifics doesn't count that's just fishing for dicksucking
Consider suicide, ESL insect.
>Consider suicide, ESL insect.
Erm? No?
I'll just filter people that make the same posts over and over again and eventually you'll just discuss this petty shit with people that want to asspat each other.
This is the future you chose, I choose Rapture
>I am literally a wienersucking homosexual
That's cool. You're still a moron and your taste in games is shit.
Doesn't matter cuz I pay for my games while you cry about everything.
Things I want get made while you seethe and eat the scraps of things I finance.
You are moronic for pretending I'm trying to force anyone to like them. Why I can't stand is making a drama out of it. Also, iconic to whom? Cause anyone could make a case about the OG game of a series being 99% iconic the whole game, specially with this short games
ESLgays are subhumans and their opinions never matter. Ever.
Last ditch effort, huh?
>>but I already play them a lot!
>We all did, that's why remakes doing stuff differently is a good thing
You can't buy the original RE2&3 on any platform. Any normalgay looking up "Resident Evil 3" will see the demake and not the original. These games are even listed as just "Resident Evil 2" and "Resident Evil 3" without any remake tag. They intended these games to replace the originals in the public consciousness.
homie you're a fricking idiot. I can emulate both of those games right now. Everyone knows 2 and 3 are remakes of older games, or do you think no one questions why Resident Evil 8 came out after Resident Evil 3?
Normalgays do not emulate. They look up Resident Evil 3, they see Resident Evil 3, and they buy Resident Evil 3.
>"What about these people who aren't me"
Yes.
But they'll understand that it's a remake and that they're playing a REMAKE. Plastering REMAKE on the store page is unnecessary because no one is THAT stupid. If they really want to play the original they'll find out how, if they don't then they'll just play the remake, no need to be a weirdo with your crackpot theories of history revision
>THEY'RE GETTING INTO PEOPLES BRAINS, MAKING EM FORGET THE ORIGINALS EVER EXISTED AND SHIIIIIET
The description of both games in any platform literally states this are remakes for older games. The frick you are talking about?
Listen, homosexual. It's really simple. They're not advertising this as "a whacky alternative version of Resident Evil 3". It's "the new and modern edition of Resident Evil 3". It's a replacement. People will buy these games and think they're playing a definitive version of the game even though it's moronic trash. And so I will have to listen to morons start talking about the shitty demake any time this game is brought up.
You know how this is true? Because it already fricking HAPPENED for Yakuza 1 and 2. People treat the Kiwami demakes as if they're the definitive versions of those games even though they're fricking asset-flips with cut content and low production value.
Listen idiot, is really simple. If you go to purchase the games on PS Store, on Steam, etc. The description states these are remakes of older games, it's not rocket science
You are a stupid Black person
Also
>comparing the impact Yakuza had during the OG release with Resident Evil
Of course no one remembers
The game runs worse for me than RE2 remake
I watched most of Jovovich movies and one fot he CGI movies, but si barely remember them and I'm in the mood for some. Which film is the best one? Including CGI cause there's a chance I haven't seen it
Frick Code Veronica I want my Dead Aim remake.
>I want them to release the exact same game we all played ad nauseam but with better graphics!
Then you want a remaster, not a remake. Stop being moronic, fellas
>better graphics!
I don't even want that. I just want the original games, in their full untarnished glory, but available on modern hardware. It's not asking for much.
I don't think you're allowed to say remake 2 is good and then shit on this. At least 3 let's you kill the zombies
so you WANT bang bang kaboom?
No I want resident evil 1 remake but done for 2. Not what we got
It was rushed and cut a lot of shit.
Imagine if jill passes out after the nemesis clock area fight and you march Carlos through the city streets and more importantly through the cut park section.
>could have some of those mite straggler enemies from the power station showup since they flee into the city after jill nukes them
>since the park had waterways could have more hunter gammas show up (like the original)
>could implement the Gravedigger boss fight and make a dank Tremor's styled boss battle where you lure zombies into making noise / ground vibrations to bait the boss out
>lead up to finding jill and taking her to the hospital as a potentially playable section
In addition to that shit, they needed to make Nemesis function like Mr. X in the city streets areas at the bare minimum which means they'd have to expand the microscopic section size it currently is, which would further solve it's other problems and it would have made Nemesis more prevalent in the game and a lot fricking scarier.
They could have also left the god damn clocktower in which could have introduced spider enemies or other scary shit. That Nemesis bossfight after the bridge could have easily remained right after finishing the clocktower area too, you'd just do the tower first then duke it out in the courtyard area like normal.
Game's unfinished as hell and could have at least stood side by side with RE2make if it were finished proper.
Re3make remake when?
Exactly man. I'm honestly shocked Capcom didn't try to make a definitive edition / DLC that included some of that stuff, the game is absolutely functional as is so it was just missing shit.
Production issues. There were rumors that the remakes for 2 & 3 were supposed to be integrated into 1 game and IDK if there's any real substance to that but quite some time into the development of REmake 2 Capcom announced that practically the whole project had been scrapped and IIRC it was due to issues with the zapping system which I think lends credence to those rumors. R3make could've been way better with a little more time but I think Capcom got greedy after REmake 2's critical and commercial success.
I love OG Claire and Sherry!
it was amazing?
No? It wasn't?
Says who?
Nah, but it was good
It's as good a remake as RE2 was. People just forget original RE3 was also basically a rushed expansion pack sold as a full game.
