good but it was harder to platform because crash's collision box thing was pill shaped instead of being a box like in the original. >2
they botched it >warped
everyone realized warped always sucked
Much, much worse artistically and technically, misses the mark on a lot of elements, redesigns characters instead of faithfully remaking them based on the original concept art.
Not as bad as the Spyro remakes, but not worth the time it took to make them.
As far as I am concerned, it mimicked the gameplay close enough that me who hasn't played Crash in 15 years had no real problem beating it or noticed anything seriously out of whack.
As for graphics, I dislike PS1 era's janky polygonal low detail early 3D look, some people like it, that's fine. I also like my games when possible to fit on the modern widescreen display, not 4:3 with black bars. So even if people like have some gripes, to me they are so small as to not matter compared to the improvements.
It really is a game for people who don't like the original graphics and wanted an update. In that regard they did a pretty good job. If you are fine with the original's graphics than emulate the original, because gameplay wise they are close enough not to matter. For me the new graphics were worth the price I paid.
It’s a precision platformer with some of the worst controls in a video game. Crash 4 looks awesome but the amount of tedium to 106% it has me turned off.
though it has been debunked that they're not stuck working only on COD (they're still working on Crash, a few old team members just left), COD pays more than Crash ever has or will so you shouldn't be shocked
Coco's cocos

coco and tawna, that's literally it
its great.
Not perfect but it did save the franchise. Shame Crash 4 killed it afterwards.
crash 4 is literally the best one

It's great
Perttu good minua The unskippable intro where Black person cortex tells you about activision
How did Toys for Bob make 10/10 kino like Crash 4 and then get cucked doing DLC for Call of Duty? Grim.

I’m sure the free content for Warzone is them dipping their toes in the water for Crash multiplayer. Any way, I was hoping for a new IP instead.
Crash's round collision box fricking sucked, but I still liked it enough to 100% all 3 games.
Impregnating the whole Nitro Squad.
