Boxhead 1 and 2, used to play them with my friends at school when we had computer time. Also had fun memories of BMtron.

It does upset me as an oldgay how much comfier the Internet used to be way back. Social media like Facebook was a mistake which signalled the beginning of the end of those times, but it's not the sole reason for the Internet's decline.

I love these based morons so fricking much. Felt like I finally finished a chapter from my childhood when I bought all games on Steam and 100%'d them all except Bullet Heaven 2

It's insane how good these are. These games taught me how good music can turn good games into great games.
I 100%ed almost all of them aswell, they're so simple yet satisfying to play.

Okay, sell me on these games.

They're basically faux-JRPGs with metric tons of QoL features making them really smooth and snappy to play, as well as being absolutely filled to the brim with kino early 2000s humor and references (even the most recent one, which stays surprisingly true to its roots). It also has Lance, one of the most based characters in media.

        >sell me on these games
One of the playable main characters is a literal nazi with a cool remote controlled tank. Big titted white mage bimbo with an achievement for making her chesticles repeatedly bounce. Small titted smelly tree hugger gets triggered when you murder cute animals... frick me I'm going for a replay.

I remember back in high school there was some kid who played AdventureQuest during study period, and literally every day he would start a new character. Weirdo.

Yeah it sure was. You'd probably appreciate this dude who has composed chiptune arrangements for a handful of the game's tracks.

...Can you? I mean the old versions with the low detail artstyle, like Great Fire War era stuff before they added classes and other towns.

All of my bookmarks are for mmorpgs.
      >good

FlyFF is playable in the browser.
      https://universe.flyff.com/play

hordes.io is an actually decent game, or it was when I last played it, but you have to sign in with google now.

Titans of Time is absolute junk, but it's a genuine indie attempt at a browser mmorpg.
      https://www.titansoftime.com/

I found this trash on the mmorpg subreddit.
      https://www.oasis-realm.com/
It's nothing more than this open source game with npc dialog plugged in to an ai: https://www.biomes.gg/

There's also this runescape classic clone, which occasionally gets shilled on /vm/ to no applause.
      https://highspell.com

There's an everquest-inspired dungeon crawler game which has a sticky on the fires of heaven forums. The dev angered the mmorpg journo's with his anti-vax videos. Apparently it's not actually multiplayer.

RPGMO is a runescape classic clone which always displays a player count of roughly 300 players online (at every hour of the day).

I've reached the end of my bookmarks.

Can you help me remember the name of a/any dungeon delving browser RPG?
You'd pick a class and you'd travel through the dungeon (N,E,S,W) to flick switches, pick up loot and battle. In battle you'd pick your attack from a drop down menu and you'd roll dice like 20d6. I think you'd slowly move down stairs to go deeper.
Zero graphics what so ever except for the dungeon map. There was also an arena where you could fight others.
