Yeah and I can get headshots too as soon as I go to from firing from the hip since that's when the bullet actually goes to the middle of the crosshair, still doesn't change the fact that it plays like the one shittiest, jankiest fps that makes even Stalker look polished.

It is pretty much a Fallout 3 asset flip where the developers got to spend more time on the actual design of the game. More games need to do this intead of rebuilding everyting to appeal to graphics prostitutes. It has not been matched in over a decade which says a lot about it.
It's hard to call it an asset flip even, to me something like Lost and Damned or Ballad of Gay Tony are asset flips since they take place in the same map as GTAIV with the same gameplay (still good though), New Vegas has had almost as much work on it from F3 as Oblivion did to Skyrim but it's still a dev format that should be used more.
Are people really still sucking this game off after all this time? It's good but it's not THAT fricking good, get a grip. The Legion are laughable and the desert lacks the intended atmosphere. The city was really disappointing too.
We haven't gotten a better Fallout game yet. We need that first.

A desert can have a harsh, oppressive atmosphere, or it can have a cinematic Western atmosphere like that of the first Red Dead game. The New Vegas desert doesn't have either, there's no ambience, only a stretch of brown tedium to slowly plod across.

I guarantee you if I look on the New Vegas wiki and see all the perks, 75% or more are going to be percent stat increases like 10% more robot damage, no new abilities and just as trash as Cyberpunk.

I did and it's pretty much nothing like NV. The few names are common, NCR/BOS conflict is a major thing in the setting, but other that that it's a different story with different characters.
The NV DLCs are literally just a wank rethread by Avellone on redoing VB except for Honest Hearts which was made by J.Sawyer instead.
Elijah is a BoS Presper instead of an NCR one, while Ulysses is the one that somehow ends up doing the nuke the wasteland thing instead, and Big MT is that one place from VB except they tuned up the sci-fi shit hundred times.
Also the BoS/Circle of Steel are the real Stealth Boy junkies instead of nightkins.

That's just Avellone expressing his hatred for post-post-apo, same with the tunnelers. Anyway, in VB the nukes fly at actual settlements and you can't stop all of them, only redirect. That was some quality misery porn, wish it didn't get fricked over, but I still love NV.
They understood every location needs to have something beyond loot and enemies/NPCs
