ToF did a good job making it so the Protag is self voiced, and this mascot doesn't have a grating voice, but my god is that thing hideous. Its Chucky doll proportions are so fricking unappealing and gross. Also every time it tries to pull of a joke it falls flat on its face because the pacing of the cutscenes is fricked and half the lines are misread or just missing audio.

Geo MC can do some fun and stupid shit, plus you get +10% crit rate while inside the burst crystal circle. But yeah you can climb on top of a bouoder and start SPIN2WIN against larger enemies. The can't do shit to you and they're tall enough that you'll frick'em up
Sorry, meant Exile. 4P Exile lets you give Energy Regen passively to your entire party when you use your burst. Gorou gets most of his value from his skill rather than his stats so have a crit rate hat to proc the warbow then use the set bonus to its advantage.

Why rush? You're literally just at the start of Liyue which is multiple hours from now to finish it because it takes you all over Liyue. Then you have Inazuma to do which involves doing a bunch of side quests in order to proceed with the main story. Then you also have to do the Dainsleif quests every time you finish an Archon's story which are each like an hour-ish on top of that with Dains' post-Inazuma one requiring you to effectively finish all of the Chasm.
It's going to take you maybe a week and a half to two if you bumrush all the content only following the main story requirements and not care about anything else, and then there's still doing whatever they ask of you within Sumeru itself to do the events. Even if you no-life it and can withstand repetition and how long the quests are it'll still take maybe a week. I remember once I started the Liyue Archon quests after exploring it took like two or three days of doing them with breaks in between to get fully through it. Keep in mind there's so much wordswordswords you have to sit through and Liyue requires so many Adepti domains to complete.
Having dumped quite a few hours into it, I can say it's an "okay" game with a lot of things people like to rake players in.
The main draw of course is Waifus. I'm not a big waifugay myself, but I can appreciate good art and interesting characters. Not all the characters are great but enough of them are "good" that you're bound to find a few characters you like. Never mind actual gameplay from said characters which is an equally mixed bag.
For the PC crowd, it gave them a BoTW-like game they were hungry for that Nintendo didn't offer. That was the biggest pull for me. I played a little bit of BoTW on an emulator but it didn't really do much for me and because it was on an emulator it was spotty performance-wise. With GI, you get smoother gameplay without having to fiddle with emulator settings and you don't have to worry about your weapons breaking.
It's *free*. People can play the game 100% free and experience everything there is to get. If you do your dalies and events you can roll on banners for your preferred waifu of choice without too much work. I've spent about $100 or so over the course of several months worth of play. Unless you're some kind of moronic whale who just like to throw tons of cash at gachas, you shouldn't need to empty your bank account to get lots of content from this game. I've never felt I HAD to pay anything, and I've had fun exploring the world and fighting bosses so I don't mind giving the devs some money. Simple as.
Other aspects of the game; exploration, boss fights, puzzles, the story. They're not bad. They're not amazing either but they're serviceable for sure. That's all it needed to be. In a sea of shitty ubisoft and EA titles, having a game that isn't pure shit is a nice change for a lot of people.
