>Danganronpa
Isn't that world kind of really screwed up because of the cult of Panda mask people obsessed with despair?
AA cast in Zero's game
>AA cast in Zero's game
What?
>still no apollo justice anime
yiiiiiikes
They are releasing the 4,5 and ,6 main games as the Apollo Justice trilogy so they might make those 3 games into an anime series no it might be a bit difficult to make the fourth game and then transition to the time of the 5th game.
Capgod recently proved out that they have people capable on capturing the essence of their franchises without former devs being involved in it (except Megaman who was always treated like shit for some reason)
Not sure how this would necessarily work, but one of Cing's games like Hotel Dusk or Another Code would be really cool to see as a crossover. The investigative scenes would play out like in Hotel Dusk and you could still have your typical court scenes like in AA.
The easy answer is GhostTrick. Let Apollo and Nick's scifi mumbo jumbo crossover with Cecil's. Maybe Maya channels him.
For my money though, it's Jake Hunter. Let Jake handle the investigations and Nick does the trials.
Crossing over with another mystery franchise would be obvious, so have it cross over with another genre
>Yakuza
They basically have the same setting. Project X Zone 2 jokes about it by mentioning that Phoenix defended Majima at some point, so fuck it, give us that story. >Persona
The franchise loves having big overarching mysteries and confrontations with criminals, so why not? Cases culminate in Phoenix desperately holding on in the courtroom while those wacky teens fight through a horde of Shadows to get the needed evidence, with each OBJECTION opening the way further for them both to reach the truth. >Street Fighter (or Tekken, or King of Fighters, or some other modern-day fightan)
They're inherently wacky, and could provide a neat cast to cross-examine on the stand. Might be funny.
I have played the PLAA crossover with the multiple witness bench and GAA1 where they refined that and added the jury system. If I say something that was changed in GAA2 lmk. I think GAA1 made yhe witness interaction more smooth with the ability to click on someone who's reacted to the witness' testimony, but it's always super easy to see when someone gets triggered by the ding and visual cue. I think for a real man's critical thinking trial you should have the reacting witness possibly but not always react noticably. Perhaps make the reaction different so the player has to keep an eye out for it like how Apollo's bracelet functioned. Later in the game you could instead of relying on reactions use your intuition and context to press the secondary witness on what the 1st just said. For example >George and Jim, two rivals, are on the stand together >George: Yeah, we were both there. Jim didn't see it until I pointed it out >then you pres Jim on that statement >Jim: ok, fine, I didn't actually see when it happened.
Jim didnt make a notif appear, I just knew either Jim would have something to say about that statement or could further clarify his perspective.
Guys, I still enjoy Ace Attorney, but I can't take the dialog and plots seriously anymore. I dont feel like this is a revolutionary take and I still enjoy the games, but damn, the magic is partially gone. Do I find better written games to scratch this mystery itch?
Ghost Trick. >Plot starts with Lynne getting murdered (because of course), she becomes a ghost with ghost tricks >Wright ends up being the lawyer for the person falsely accused of murdering Lynne >Lynne becomes Wright's ghostly sidekick to help him with the case and catch the real killer >Court cases play like regular ace attorney with a running gag that no one but Wright can see his assistant >Investigation sections play like ghost trick with you controlling Lynne with her own set of tricks (maybe with something similar to Spirit of Justice's gimmick) >a certain cat does make an appearance in the game but is never referred to by name in order to avoid spoiling the original game

Doesn't work. They just use Maya to cheese the game and Monokuma gets pissed
>being killed by someone automatically means you know 100% the killer's identity and how the murder transpired
HAVE YOU NOT PLAYED TURNABOUT GOOBYES?!

Layton's Mystery Journey.
AA7 WHEN???

Hopefully never. I think all the original creators left Capcom.
moron

and RE3
That was a crappy rushed moneygrab remake to fill the void while waiting for RE8 release
Shu Takumi still works at Capcom, you might be thinking of Takeshi Yamazaki having left recently, he directed 5, 6 and the Investigations games.
It has always been Danganronpa and it will always be Danganronpa. End of thread

Umineko por favor, fuck Dangit ron paul.
Redpill me on why I should play this game and if its a good starting point or if I should play the prequel
It's fun.
No you don't need to read Higurashi, but you will appreciate the references more if you do.
Great Ace Attorney x Raidou Kuzunoha. Japan's greatest defense lawyer teaming up with Japan's greatest detective.
Matlock or Perry Mason

Never played the Professor Layton crossover, how good is it on emulator?
Columbo
detective pikachu
I'm pretty sure the wonderful world of Pokemon is not the same world as Ace Attorney.
