Is having sex a series? Because for me, something I never got into, but want to, would be having sex.
It can be hit or miss. Mostly hit, but the bad sex is worse than just fapping.
me but eating pussy. had sex but never got into giving oral.
With the right one, 69 is one of my favorite positions... But back to video games... Any series you missed out on growing up?
For me it is all of them because I was a poor ESL
Ys
Fatal Frame
Baldur's Gate
Elder Scrolls
Manhunt
Condemned
FEAR (played the first one a few times but never finished it)
Bioshock (same as above)
Sex is overrated honestly
Yakuza. Should I just start with the first game?
Those games are quite repetitive. I don't think you can go through the series in a marathon. I'd probably just search for the best Yakuza game and go from there.
sex
Soulsborne games. I beat the introductory boss in Dark Souls 3 and I think I beat the first 3-4 bosses in Bloodborne but that's about it. I started the other games but never played longer than the first hour or so. I could just never get into it.
Kingdom hearts I guess.
for me it's many
>Metro
>Neptunia
>Disgaea
>Psychonauts
>Yakuza
>Blaster Master Zero
>Neptunia
>Rune Factory
I just need to get to start them as they are currently sitting on my backlog
You said Neptunia twice
that's how much he wants to play it
>Psychonauts
That's just two games that aren't even that long. You can finish them under a week easily.
Ys (played first hour of oath, ys 8, ys 9)
Atelier (ryza specifically, Sophie too)
Dark Souls (idk why they haven't grabbed me, I've finished bloodborne sekiro and elden ring)
Yakuza (played a few hours of like a dragon)
Kirby seems like a fun and comfy series. But it seems like manchild stuff so I have avoided it
It is really a kids game, so you have to be a manchild. Just like everything nintendo.
It's actually a fun series. I'm having fun playing the Magolor Epilogue
I believe it is fun. I've been tempted to try the new switch one...the one people were saying was open world
It's not actually open world just so you know. It's still a level based game
Cool. I might like it more them
Way too many to count but I'll name a few:
>Ace Attorney
>Patapon
>Panzer Dragoon
>Gunvolt
>Armored Core
>Ace Combat
>several SRPGs
Forgotten Land is excellent and kind of designed around your exact interest in it; Kirby doesn't need to be played in any real order but FL is built as a starting point due to it moving to 3D. It's still level-based though, it's basically traditional Kirby level design with a new camera/control method, but they revamped certain aspects like how combat/damage work to fit better within it, and the collectible system is probably my favorite in the series. I'd very highly recommend it, you can hit credits in about 7 hours but 100% approaches 20, which is a pretty perfect length for what it's doing.
I think you have to be in the mood. This was when it came out, but I played that Epic Kirby or whatever that yarn Kirby game was. You cannot die in that game. Yet somehow I had fun with it.
Like I said, mood though. I tried this Super Mario Land on the Wii and Switch that was praised but you just can't lose in that game as well and there's a point where you just question what you're even doing.
Gran Turismo. Unfortunately whatever set of experiences lead to somebody working at Pep Boys escaped me.
if you like sim games try car mechanic simulator. ofc it's not like working on a real vehicle, but it may just be enough to appreciate the engineering aspect. the game itself is comfy even with a rudimentary knowledge
dmc. played V up until vergil, took a break and never picked it back up. played 3 and 4 for a couple hours each. they were all fun, but i didn't get hooked
Monster Hunter. It looks so fun in the abstract but then I play it and it feels like I'm just grinding for nothing
Lost Planet and Dragon Quest IX
I grew up as an embarrassingly Nintendo-devout and missed on a lot of stuff. The one I most want to play someday are
>Fallout
>GoW
>Halo
Also Warhammer. Maybe it's just from an outsider's perspective but whenever I see lore and story discussion about it it always seem so fascinating. Makes me wish I had discovered and latched onto it when young.
Pretty much just Disgaea. I just couldn't into it for some reason.
Dark souls, looks fun to play but I got filtered when I played ds1
Warthunder, I love seeing WT videos they are funny as frick but I don't want to get suckered in to gajins scheme, also I don't like to fly planes
Many strategy games, like Civilization, Anno, Stellaris, etc. They look cool, but also daunting.
I'd also like to try Monster Hunter, but I bet it's just another huge timesink, too...
I think Mario games are just dull boring crap. I still haven’t finished Super Mario World. Not like I hate Nintendo either. I enjoy Pokemon, Super Metroid, LTTP, Earthbound, etc
Play the NES Mario games. They're more of arcade type challenges, World is more of a leisure game.
Don't bother. There are far better action platformers on the NES.
I'm well aware of pretty much every game you're thinking of and I would still say Mega Man 3/4/6 can stand next to them just fine minus 3's slowdown. 1/2/5 aren't bad either, they just have issues. Then if OP wanted to go further, 7, 9-11, &Bass, and the 4th & 5th GB titles are great too.
just play the first game dummies
>but i didn't like it
then the series isn't for you, move on
Megaman is one of the few series where you want to skip the first game and play all the others.
nope, it's not. Just like the faux-fans who say this for MMBN.
I say this as someone who played 2-4 first, going back to the first is like asking "do you want to play a shittier version of megaman"
your fault for not properly playing a series
playing in order allows you to objectively appreciate growth/or lack of it.
Playing out of order is zoomer behavior.
the first one is the shortest and most basic, it's like an hour long even if you suck at the game. it's the perfect introduction
Metal Gear. I'm still hoping I can get into it some day.
I played through the entire series in a marathon some decade ago, then V later. It was awesome and I highly recommend it.
From Soft games in general. Don't care about Armored Core, I only want to play Souls games, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. However, I can't because I'm too broke to afford any of those games and a system to play on.
I really wanted to get into final fantasy since I had FF1 in an emulator folder but never finished it (basically got stuck fighting 5 gargoyles underleveled). Then firends obviously recommended 7 and after I got to Wutai my save corrupted. It's just not meant to be I guess
1 is fun but it's an old school RPG. I'd recommend starting with 6, 7, or 10. Tactics is the best though
The battle network games, I played network transmission when I was young and it turned me off the entire series.
Battle network is fun, but there are how many games now? I played two of them. If I were to go back and play the rest, I probably would not remember which was which.
6 plus 3 star force games, which is a spin-off/continuation of BN, but a new story and cast.
Oppai Slider series.
Monster Hunter looks cool but when it turns into the fun game people talk about it also turns into a massive grindfest
As other anons have said, Metal Gear. Always wanted to play it but as I grew up and saw how cutscene/story and lore focused the games seemed to get I felt intimidated. This is just an impression but yeah. Still at that stage.
Ace Combat, wanted to get into it ever since I listened to Zero but my backlog's too big.
The Strike series until last week. Now I'm going to beat my second game soon.
