2142, obviously.
bad company 2 was peak battlefield and 3 was even better
OG, 2142, 3, and 1 before the shitty ttk patch.
BF1 has most of the worst maps in the entire series.
Bf2, still active servers and an active pro player scene with events and stuff
Bad Company 2. BF3 was almost as good but unfortunately started the CoDification of the series.

2 was the best, with an honourable mention to 2142 (essentially the same game).
3 & 4 were soulless.
bc2 > bf4 > bf1 > 1943 > hardline > the rest
3 was a bugged up shitfest that spawned Origin and every other publisher trying to force you their own shitty Steam.

BC2 > BF3 > BF4 > BF1 > BFV > BF2042
that is, BC2 was the first BF game I played and it went progressively downhill after that with each release

for me its BF 1942
I think its too late now but 2142 with bf3 engine would have been great. Now we're just going to get to play it free on Harsh Doorstop through eventual mods. I hope thats what happens. I guess bf3 was top.

I really liked bad company 1 and 2. And I did play bf3 multiplayer a lot which was fun. I would kill for a bad company 3!!!
