When are we getting an Overwatch Netflix series

They already have a bunch of established lore and shit. Arcane was a huge success and Edgerunners redeemed Cyberpunk. Nobody gives a fuck about OW2, a Netflix show would give it a bit of attention at least

    >a bunch of established lore
like what? only thing i remember was a weak ass story about robots vs humans.
    >Arcane was a huge success and Edgerunners redeemed Cyberpunk
Those shows were entertaining and nothing related to modern blizzard could reach the same level.

      >shyl2
nah. seemed like they pulled out the OW stuff for something other than "they wanted to." despite the game in the lowest of low points, OW porn is still an easy eye-catcher. hell i wouldn't be surprised if someone at blizz contacted them and said "hey, we need some help. yeah give her a dick too."
why did they only go after yeero?

You can't put widow/mercy making love to shotas on Netflix

      Why not

/ss/ is the most pure form of love, no way netflix would allow something so wholesome on their platform

who does this appeal to? little boys? grown ass men that wish they were a little boy/midget? pedo women?

lol has the plot even progressed beyond "monkey pushes button"?

the newest omnic (Rammattra or w/e) that released that is playable now wants to Sapien-cide humans

True. I personally like Widowmaker using her giant fat cock on Tracer like some toy. Nyl2 is great with those.

probably never because the warcraft movie was such a failure in the west

Not sure how you would make a show without any Villains because Talon did nothing wrong and omnics do not deserve rights and should be killed on sight.

    >because the lore was a generic after tought
the lore is dogshit like the game, tf2 which has better everything didn't get the adult swim show neither should this shit

Dont care what about the porn and that would also mean we are getting a need wave of girls in bodysuits right?

The only thing worthwhile that came from overwatch was the porn, and even that is infested with cuckolds and futahomosexuals so it's worthless.

The current head writers are retconning pieces of lore so that they can impress their twitter followers. Mercy and Genji relationship and voice lines are being removed while they are trying to push Mercy and Pharah

They have literally been fumbling around with overwatch “lore” for over a decade and they have done nothing outside character trailers. They missed their chance

Their lore contradicts itself. Kiriko's story is a mess with character ages and events. Just stick to the porn and make up your own story.

See, one of the problems with Netflix's shows is they lack a certain eroticism. What if we were to bring, uhh, an incredibly hot and skeptical Tracer into the mix, and that way whenever Widowmaker is not busting heads because she scoped crime, she's back at the headquarters performing OUTRAGEOUS sexual experiments on Tracer's young supple body. Now here's the twist, and there is a twist:

We show it. We show all of it.

Arcane and Edgerunners were at least interested in telling a story and not just "lmao go play our game." Edgerunners is mostly independent of Cyberpunk: the game's events, and Arcane was basically just a retelling of Jinx and Vi's backstory along with every other LoL character that exists in their vicinity, because Riot realized there was money to be made if you could sell the characters to people that have zero interest in playing a moba.
Overwatch just meandered around for years cause its lead writer was only interested in writing his self-insert Genji/Mercy fanfiction and half-assed cursory blurbs about everything else. I don't think it's a coincidence that one of the first things they did with OW2 was scuttle that and actually let Pharah and Mercy interact with each other again since that's the pairing people actually like and they gotta pander to make up for loss ground and a far more competitive market. That and it makes for a great social media cover when they also have to make announcements about sexual harassment lawsuits.
Blizzard tried to be the big multimedia franchise Valve fumbled when Adult Swim realized they would never be able to produce the TF2 show in a reasonable time frame, and they also fucked that up. Riot's titles and Apex Legends have been far more successful and actually have some level of reasonable output in that regard with storylines and shit.

In the wake of popular and successful adaptations like Mario, Arcane, etc., there is no shortage of valuable IPs that any production company would kill to bring to animation/live action. Why would anyone deign to do Overwatch a favor?

if they do a blizzard property it'll be starcraft
      >woman is most important character in the universe
      >badguys are white confederates
      >blizz announced a sc revival not as an rts

Eh, do you really think there's enough to work with there? Especially since Starcraft isn't exactly a relevant entity. Meanwhlie Warhammer 40k has been making huge inroads in every form of medium just through passive exposure, and you could say the same thing for regular ass Warhammer.
Feels like trying to do Starcraft now would just give it unnecessary heat as a Chinese ripoff-tier IP.

I think if there was a Blizzard IP to work with, Diablo might be the safest.
        >don't have to work with whatever nonsense is happening in Warcraft
        >built in leading cast from the player classes
        >just make up some new demons if you don't want to do a straight adaptation

I hate Overwatch too, but I wouldn't wish a Netflix adaption on anything, no matter how much I hate it.
