Back in 2014 or whenever that Qualcomm snapdragon 4 core CPU was released that can work with nvidia mobile GPUs.
It would be a really simple game. Like a one room tech demo not even like quake 2.

    >1080p
    Now
    >120fps
    Depends on the game
    >RTX ON
Oof, the Steam Deck can do Lumen on Fortnite at 30fps 800p I guess.

It can do all that now, it’s just that no devs do it.

Give it like 3 years. Maybe some moderate power 1nm MBCFET chip could pull that off.

Modern PCs can't even accomplish that for a 15 year old game, why would you expect a 15W tablet to do that anytime soon?

GPUs still don't have enough hardware for heavily ray traced scenes.

To be fair, Portal RTX uses path tracing which is even more demanding than regular ray tracing.

Probably in 2 Switch generations if you want to maintain realistic battery life

Reminder that RTX isn't real ray-tracing and all the marketing relies on cucking games out of alternative global illumination methods that run 10 times faster so nvidia can shill their overpriced crap.
