I bought a new PC just to play Rome 2, what a disappointment, the carthage beach landing looked cool in the gameplay footage.

Yea, they added women to Rome 2 years after release and after everyone but the most Stockholm Syndrome infected players left, but that is the least of that game's problems

The person who added this shit eventually left the company after she seethed at how Chinese modders were making the female generals in Three Kingdoms be both pretty and put them in lewd attire.

      Its a nothing burger.
I thought you meant they had added random females to the units

The female units are sold separately as dlc 😉

Yeah I have them but I have not played the game for years.
There was historically female units in factions anyway.
I remember in rome 1 you had those gaul screaming women who would buff the troops, they were actually pretty good too as they ran fast and you could use them to bait entire units of the enemy to break ranks chasing them.

So are you ready to describe those historical inaccuracies I asked for 2 posts ago or will you keep being a retard?

Nu paradox games are no where near historically accurate. EU 3, Vic2, HOI3 they at least tried, now their games are just meme map painters so redditors can make posts about incest and conquering the world with OPMs.

Weird argument considering Vicky 3 is geared heavily against blobbing in my experience. Frustrating war mechanics aside, there simply isn't an efficient way to gobble up land through diplo plays, and truly large wars more often destroy your country rather than improve it.

It's the easiest paradox game to blob in you are just retarded.

Tried to appear somewhat historical compared to modern games. Did you forget the big walls of text that would pop up to explain historical events?

            Anonymous

and Vicky 3 does the same with events like the Dreyfus Affair, the Pebrine Epidemic, The Paris Commune, the Spanish Flu, etc.

Look, you can criticize the games, but you can't be wrong in what you bring to the table in trying to.

I didn't play Vicky 3 cuz I don't play trash. Tbh this criticism is mostly aimed at CK3 which doesn't even have the college of cardinals in a game centered around Christian Europe.

I'm not sure how the DeI team is still active. Every time I try to get back into rome 2 I feel like I'm slicing time out of my life in a very literal sense. I reflect back on my play time after a couple of hours and don't remember any of it.

Nothing says historically accurate like hard building limits
An entire fuckin province and I can only afford space for 6 districts

this and units being restricted to armies and cities having their own garrisons has ruined total war for me. It's literally impossible to siege a walled settlement when a stack squats in it, and then the garrison by itself is so trash you can just auto resolve it.

What do you mean by that? A truly historically accurate video game would be completely railroaded and wouldn't be a fun one, I've never played any.

It sucks knowing that Total War will never recover from Rome 2. CA is still mad that Rome 2 was crucified for being the shit it was and will never revert all of the garbage decisions that made Rome 2 shit to begin with out of sheer spite. The only hope is that between Warhammer 3 shitting the bed even more than it did on release with the DLC stuff, and Hyenas looking like a parody of what a peak goyslop game would look like, CA will get the Volition treatment and the pain comes to an end
