I hope this applies to my RTX 3060 and not some 4000 thing
I hope so too but I have a 4xxx so I'm set either way.
that’s nice but how does this help with making games good?
It won't. The pajeets will just generate 2x the low-quality smut to spam boards and certain porn sites with.

fuck I'm still on windows 10
Tick tock, 10fags. It's your turn next year.
AMDfags in shambles
>b-b-but my ROCm docker container builds
AMD will never fucking catch up to Nvidia at its current rate of development
A lot of people don't realize this but Nvidia is at the top of the world right now, seeing how it poised itself in the absolute center of the AI world. It's kind of crazy how much bigger they got in just the past few years. Literally doubled their wealth and it's only just beginning.
cope nvidia sisters cope and seethe
amd bought the inventor of the FPGA and that means they won
Jensen finally got the wish he wanted, and worked for for more than a decade. No longer he has to care if iGPUs become "good enough" to eat more and more of lower segments
>No longer he has to care if iGPUs become "good enough" to eat more and more of lower segments
literally what
The optimizations are for a DirectML version of Stable Diffusion. AMD gets them too. And Linuxtrannies miss out.

AMD's blog post about it is absolutely barebones
No mentions or timeline of when these optimizations will even be available to Radeon users.
>This feature will be validated
>will be
Within a month.
https://devblogs.microsoft.com/directx/dml-stable-diffusion/
2 more weeks
Honestly confused as to why AMD themselves didn't give this timeline in their own announcement but then again AMD PR never ceases to surprise me
Why is AMD always so late compared to nvidia?
They don't have the budget or talent that nvidia has to pioneer new tech. I wish they did but it is what it is
>AMD only mentions RDNA3
>Nvidia uses a generic "RTX hardware/GPUs" umbrella
>stable diffusion
Okay but does it also apply to language models?
I don't think so, I kinda remember hearing about this paper from my boy 2 Minute Papers. Such optimizations will come to LLMs and stuff too though. This shit is extremely cutting edge, there's tons of room for improvements and optimizations.
I sleep.
Of course all these optimizations probably only apply to 30 and 40 series cards, not me.
We'll see, I might be wrong but I think it's just SD for now.
The blog in OPs link mentions Dolly 2.0, a LLM, so it's coming.
I've linked this a few times and I think it's a really important talk to understand how much the world is going to change. Other Jim Keller talks from the past 6 months are good to watch too.
Basically hardware is basically already good enough for AGI and software has a RIDICULOUS amount of room for optimization. In 10 years time, everyone will have 400IQ AIs in their phones.
I wonder if Microsoft has considered dropping AMD in the next Xbox in favour of Nvidia if AI tasks become more common in video games
They won't, they're helping them catch up tp chad Nvidia.
devs are so shit at making enemy ai so I doubt it
>the PORN UPDATE
I never update my drivers other than when I do a full OS reinstall or hardware change. If it works, great. If it doesn't I update until it does and then great. I play maybe one new game a year and have spent too much of my life dealing with dogshit drivers from both AyyTitty/AyyMD and nShitia to give a fuck anymore.
Holy fuck.
Congrats, your degenerate behavior just got twice as efficient.
Has here anyone worked in such big tech companys?
>W11
I don't want to upgrade but I want the 60 it/s
