The divine beasts were excavated after being buried underground for 1000 years since the last calamity. After they helped defeat calamity ganon in botw, they've served their purpose and were deactivated and buried where they were originally found once again.
>there's a quest where you're retold the events of BoTW in a class of school children >Nintendo knew autists would have little hissy fits online so they put the entire connection between the two games as a lesson in a school full of whiny little children
it's kinda dumb but it is clearly a direct reference to Link riding on Sidon when attacking Vah Ruta. The TotK sages are Medoh, Ruta, Rudania, and Nabooris, the sages after whom the DBs were named. That's why they have the masks.
No, I really do think that the TotK sages probably are named those things.

Huh. I always just assumed "they're named after the OoT characters" was just (reasonable) speculation.
What if these towers we see are made of the materials that were left from the Shikah tech.
I thought there would be still some guardians left in the caverns but it seems they are gone.
I miss the guardian stalkers (not the other ones).
They were such a fun enemy to fight. Terryfing, fast, deadly, but still fair given that you only need to have a shield and good reaction time
>I thought there would be still some guardians left in the caverns but it seems they are gone.
they all deactivated when you beat calamity ganon, just like the divine beasts.
I give up, give me a hint as to where the sterring wheel controller parts can be found
Every single one of my makeshift contraptions would be better with one
All of the ball dispenser machines have different drop lists. Just keep checking the sky island gacha until you find one that drops the steering stick and then dump like 30 batteries into it so you have a good stock. I think East Gerudo Sky Archipelago has it
Pretty sure they were spirited away; like the monks after finishing a shrine; because they served their purpose.
I know the common theory is that they were re-buried, but that makes no sense when the Shrine of Resurrection has completely vanished. My take also explains why there's no traces of any guardians left.
All the Sheikah shit just poofed as far as I can gather. Even the Champions and their respective powers seem to have left Hyrule.
I don't worry about it too much. It's a game where you play a silly elfboy that beats up goblins with magic spells. The Zelda timeline fags have untreatable autism.
Also, why do the sky islands suddenly appear
Every time you are near
>just like me...
>they wish to be...
>in a better game

the magical cloud barrier dissipates. Same reason why the light dragon (which was always there) appears.
who the heck is this Lunk feller and his broad Zoldo anyhow?

I thought they were retconned because of some butterfly ripple time paradox effect with Zelda poofing into the past.
stop listening to retards. there's a quest where you're retold the events of BoTW in a class of school children

The character profiles in the menu also mention the events of BotW, especially the new champions'.
Please stop listening to 55 IQs on this site.
That statue is retarded. Whoever designed it should be beaten.

Do you mean Medli, Ruto, Darunia and Nabooru

Mipha's statue is now where a Lynel used to be

pröööh 😀
They're all on vacation.

>now breaking my progression to go find steering wheels
Pain. This hurts my autism immensely.
the tarrey town one should have it
There is one dispenser that drops controllers you’ll find when you fight the boss in the volcano
all they had to do was making a cutscene how ganon malice (or gloom) destroyed all the sheikah tech after he wakes up.
