Not yet. Play something else while we wait. I'm playing death stranding.
Imagine it Elden Ring adopted DS movement physics for going through terrain and climbing with ropes, anchors and stuff haha, now that would make going through all those empty fields interesting.
They could even make dungeons more complex and vertical with secondary paths only accessible by climbing or using tools or ladders.
>hey lets make a new Soul game! >"how about we try something cool and different, like bloodborne and sekiro?" >no, lets make another medieval fantasy crap, we definitely don't have enough of those! >but hear me out, this one is open world, so its different! Nevermind we are completely shitting on the game design and philosphy that made the past souls games great! >Oh shit we are running out of development time, just copypaste a bunch of erdtree avatars and tree spirits everywhere. Make a couple snowy areas filled with fricking nothing. Surely people wont notice most of our efforts went into limgrave right? >Game is too generic? Fine just shove a bunch of random shit everywhere to desperately try to save it from being generic medieval fantasy. Put aliens in the game, gravity, meteors, whatever. Add black flame spells, bloodflame, yellow flame, rainbow flame, why not.
Is DS2 actually worth a replay? Never finished it. I found the levels to be pretty generic, I can't remember much of it minus the Bastille and that cave inside the well of Majula...
first time I tried DS2 I felt it was absolute shit
then I tried it a second time some years later and 100%-ed it
it still feels weird compared to other dark souls games like it's missing something and I can't put my finger on it
>Surely people wont notice most of our efforts went into limgrave right?
It did?
Outside of Stormveil, Limgrave was just as boring and empty as anywhere else.
I didn't want to believe it, but the "open field" was indeed a misstep: the better Legacy Dungeons were far and away the best part of the game, and there weren't many of them.

still pisses me off. could've been the unironic goat.

why are sekiro gays so insecure and pathetic? One weapon. One move. One game. Deal with it.
Would be better off making more DS2 dlc instead
Based
was it ivory king where you jumped down the long hole into the magma pit?
that is still my favorite boss arena
Yes, the Old Chaos beneath Frozen Eleum Loyce.
Sunken King was my personal favourite, though.
SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH A SERPENT
I hope it gets an earlygame DLC and a lategame DLC like DaS3 did (with plenty of upgrade materials to loot).
magic but whole
MERMAID DLC
Helpfully an announcement at TGA and a release for Q1 2023
