IMO Sunshine's problem is that it spent too long in the oven. Fludd is a stupid gimmick and the visuals are an eyesore.
3D World could have had a lot more soul with more dev time. Bowser's Fury was great and pretty much proves me right.
64. I heard it was supposed to have 32 courses or something. I always wondered what course would be in this painting. I pictured an aesthetic like Star World 4 in Super Mario World.
I agree with the Sunshine critisism. While I think >can shortcut shines well with fludd >can do regular obsticles without fludd
Is fine design, the sheer amount of how much you can do seems like they didnt consider it that well
Switch 2 launch title. Nintendo makes an unapologetic show upping of the competition by using the new pressure-sensitive haptic control sticks they patented to control the direction and throttle on each of FLUDD's propulsors.

Sunshine is the obvious answer >Super Mario 64 2 died and nobody was able to figure out anything to do with Super Mario 128 beyond its ability to have that much shit going on(which was later used for pikmin anyway) >Yamauchi: oi koizumi-kun pick a team and get a 3D Mario out or I take your thumbs
It was literally stapled together and rushed out just so the Gamecube had some fucking tentpoles, not that anything could save the Gamecube after Space World 2001, honestly.
Sunshine, obviously. Having only 7 levels when SM64 had 15 isn't good.
Sunshine.
Sunshine easily.
fuck the haters, sunshine is literally a perfect game
Silence, zoomer.
i'm 35, gay. i got the game the day it came out.
Ok zoomer
It's not a perfect game. It's a good game. It's a fresh experience. But it shows major signs of being released unfinished.
like what? i've 100%'d the game and seen every nook and cranny. IMO it is an extremely complete experience
Really? You think that final level in the volcano was a complete experience?
Don't forget the book.
What book?
At the bottom of the bottle in Noki Bay.

But does it leave you making a slurping sound in your straw cause you expected more like a Treasure game?
Mario 64 DS. The controls were too stiff, powerups specific to 1 character needs to be expanded , and it needed extra content for challenges
I don't think that was due to a lack of time. The project was just a gimmicky tech demo for the DS, they were never going to do that much with it.
sunshine

sunshine has the best art direction of any 3d mario game. easily in the top 5 mario games of all time visually.
Abuses the hell out of post processing so everything is blurry as fuck. Some parts look nice.

Sunshine, thats about it.

Sunshine. Though Odyssey REALLY could've used DLC.
3D Land. Was really short and mid for a Mario game.
everyone saying sunshine is doing the classic "i haven't played it, but being a contrarian here seems to be the right r/gaming thing to say"
>goldeneye hasn't aged well/ was never good
>donkey kong 64 is actually a bad game, far too many collectables
>mario sunshine is actually a bad game
welcome to Ganker . there are no opinions here, only "objective opinions". you will agree with everyone mindlessly or else youre wrong and retarded.
dead on
In what world is deriding Sunshine a contrarian opinion?
Sunshine, it's not even a contest. The game is infamous for being rushed. Doesn't stop it from being my favorite.
imagine thinking the sovl of mario sunshine is less developed than generic ass new super mario bros games
new soup isn't 3d dumb ass
Sunshine, look at all of these cut stages, I want to see them desperately, even just concept art at the least.
sunshine 2 would be so sick

obviously sunshine. 24 of the fucking shine sprites are obtained through blue coins.
Odyssey is shit.
