Shaman was my first raiding toon. Mage was my second and mage is easily the funnest class to play in that game. Easy levelling, good dps, portals, food and you could actually grind your own gold from ZF zombies early on.
>Paladin
Paladins are the most gay of all the classes.
Literally every pally I've ever met was a giant gay. You can tell even from their playstyle that they're queer.
>Druids don't have a spammable rez to cover for the inevitable fuck ups the brainless playerbase will do no matter how hard you carry. >Playing Paladin require you to remove your brain so even if you pretend that you were going to main heal 3 hours into playing one will turn you into a Retardin >Shaman is fine but requires you to go Horde so if your friends go Alliance you can't play it
>Druids don't have a spammable rez to cover for the inevitable fuck ups the brainless playerbase will do no matter how hard you carry.
That's actually an upside outside of dungeon content, and if you wipe in dungeons you should probably find a better group
>pws causes tank to be unable to generate rage from being hit >divine shield only effects paladin = useless in terms of healing others >druid required for innervate + combat rez >shaman has highest aoe heals + gamebreaking totems (wf, aoe cleanse, mana tide, etc.) and every single group wants one
overall every single point you made was wrong 🙂
I have no strong opinion on class vs class but I do have very fond memories of a discipline priest from back when.
Something about shielding as opposed to always healing was just very appealing to me.
Nope, I was Alliance.
If I recall correctly though, only one of pally healers we had was dedicated holy, the rest were failed Rets, though they were still fairly geared for healing
my nost guild's top healer was a druid, i could never beat him as a priest, gear and skill matter, you won't have #1 handed to you just because of what you picked at the new character screen with healers at least
if by classic you mean vanilla: >priest best healer ally pve >shaman best healer horde pve >paladin best healer ally pvp >horde premades don't care about healing cause they can only burst
you're literally a homosexual if you play any class other than warrior or paladin

>warrior
yes
>or paladin
get away from me. we are NOT the same

Uninstall wizard
Priest

paladins are more efficient healers than priests
Their raid healing doesn't exist.
>he thinks the tank healer/raid healer distinction existed in vanilla
shoo little wrathbab
Iirc it was mostly priests and then a few paladins in vanilla raids.
it did tho, competent raiding on a paladin means spamming max rank flash on your main tank boyfriend for the entire instance
>Druids don't have a spammable rez to cover for the inevitable fuck ups the brainless playerbase will do no matter how hard you carry.

Paladins were fucking broken as healers in vanilla/classic the fuck you on about retri paladins didn't exist outside of PvP
Paladin don't heal
Paladin do heal
they're all pretty close
>druid
support healer
>priest
main healer, required for raid damage
>paladin
dispell bot, never oom, no multitarget healing
>shaman
totem bots
>paladin
Tank healer
>shaman
Best raid heals+totems
Good question.
I would say paladin since they're the entire reason Alliance is meta in vanilla.
unironically just play a mage in vanilla
no point in anything else with responsibility since retards gonna retard
so are paladins (in naxx gear) better than preist or not?
Healer class effectiveness differs on a fight-by-fight basis
power word shield is really broken in wow. it not only shields damage but prevents castbar knockbacks.
divine shield on paladin is a second contender but it only lasts 8 seconds with a long cooldown.
druid didn't come into its own until tbc.
shaman is mostly a joke besides frost shock.
>pws causes tank to be unable to generate rage from being hit

Rogue

- Alchemy
- Engineer

Fistweaver was the only time healing was fun in not just WoW, but any MMO ever made.
I disagree
healing in ff14 is fun
As someone who once enjoyed healing in WoW, I never could get into the FFXIV healers
>healing in ff14 is unnecessary
ftfy
pretty sad when the hardest content in the game can be cleared on-patch without an entire role lmao
I like healing in ffxi
depends greatly on which era of classic wow but one consistency is that its never druid
You may be correct, but for what it's worth I was the best healer in my guild through Naxx as a Resto Druid
Hopefully you played Horde and didnt outheal a Paladin
Nope, I was Alliance.
If I recall correctly though, only one of pally healers we had was dedicated holy, the rest were failed Rets, though they were still fairly geared for healing
i believe him because most wow players are shit
my nost guild's top healer was a druid, i could never beat him as a priest, gear and skill matter, you won't have #1 handed to you just because of what you picked at the new character screen with healers at least
Out of curiosity, do you know what build he was running?
if by classic you mean vanilla:
>priest best healer ally pve
>shaman best healer horde pve
>paladin best healer ally pvp
>horde premades don't care about healing cause they can only burst
As a male human warrior chad I find myself heing most comfortable with druid healers. Nelf also look good.
shaman pro active healing and disc priest are the best
i like playing a tauren druid
bears cant heal you
hammers cant heal you
a robot might be able to heal you
a space invader might be able to heal you but wont
Priest overall
Paladin is stronger but limited to a single target
Druid kind of sucks as a raid healer suffers too much from hybrid tax
Shaman is like medium tier but makes up for it by being the only healer that's actually fun for the healer to play
