What the FRICK do I do?
The couple of Switch games I played so far (FE Three Houses, Live A Live, Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, FE Engage) I played on my gfs Switch Lite since they all pretty much felt like 3DS games anyways.
But now Breath of the Wild 2 is around the corner and there is no Switch 2 in sight yet.
I was expecting it to be a launch title. Why the hell else would they have pushed an asset flip back so far?
I played BotW on a WiiU on the big screen and I sure as shit don't want to play 2 on a tiny Switch Lite screen so what do I do now?
Should I actually shit out 330 bucks for a 6 year old console for this one game?
I bet the Switch 2 will release in 2024/25 and be backwards compatible too. Then again I don't feel like waiting two years before playing BotW 2.
Or should I try getting a deal on a used Switch?

You sound like a little b***h to be honest.
I know now help me you dickweasel
Convince your gf to buy a switch oled and play it on there
Nah I don't think that will work she doesn't even touch her Switch Lite anymore and she bascially told me I can have it. Unfortunately she got this version too.
Switch sucks and all the games for it are bad. Why is Nintendo so bad these days?
Imagine guzzling this much Nintendo cum. The answer is of course to emulate. gay.
Try it on the Lite first, portable BotW is surprisingly comfy. Get a cheap regular Switch if you don't like it.
this is probably the way to go
just keep drift in mind with used controllers
Drift has been solved for ages, just search on YouTube for tutorials on how to fix it with rubbing alcohol and a piece of paper
>330 bucks
Why do people always bring up the mrp in threads like this? Don't they know how to look for cheap deals online? I bought a brand new Switch at the end of 2017 for 240 instead of 330 Eurobucks, simply because I was in no rush to get one and know how to google.
cheapest OLED price right now
>right now
There's your problem. I don't know where you live but there were a few decent deals in my country before Christmas. Also, there still are almost 4 months until the new Zelda releases, so you might want to wait for a better deal than 330 bucks.
i like smaller screens, so i would recommend either the lite or regular, but the oled isnt that big really and has better display, so go for oled
Normal or OLED I would play the game on my TV
Normal if you're not going to be playing online, OLED if you will
i am too poor to buy games bwos ;_;
I just bought one of these for Splatoon 3 after not having a Switch for nearly 3 years.
I'll just buy a Switch 2 next year.
Just get a switch lite
Also
>skipping out on Nintendo's most popular console for 6 years even when they hinted the next one may not have BC only to complain
>when they hinted the next one may not have BC
They did?
Also like I wrote I have access to a Switch Lite and played some games all of which seemed like they didn't need a big screen. And those Switch games that did - sans Odysee - I played on WiiU already.
Dont get the switch lite because when the controller inevitably drifts the whole machine is basically a paperweight. I would go with the regular switch as the oled isnt really an upgrade over it.
there are replacement sticks now that take care of the problem for good
>Rewarding shit manufacturing
?
Get a used Switch Lite for cheap, it’s a great little console, used it for 2 years but been collecting dust since I’ve got my Deck
If I were you I'd just get a cheap hackable model, no point in buying a brand new console with all the newest bells and whistles so late into this generation.
Despite everybody saying they aren't, Nintendo is most likely working on a switch 2. Last year there was a drought of games and the newest ones today have barely received any updates.
If you played botw on a fricking wii u why do you have an issue with the switch? They're both underpowered.
screen size and controller
I play 99% of the time on the TV. I like to play on a big screen while in my recliner and the vast majority of the games look better docked anyway.
