Roche path isn't canon. Vex acts like you never were romantic with her and the queen in Iorveth's path ended up getting her own comic book after release.
I haven't done it yet but even I got that feeling playing Roche's. The area felt dead and Roche doesn't appear much but to massively cock up a plan he doesn't let you in on wasting Geralt's time
There's plenty of non linear games that don't railroad you into making a single choice for what you want to do next.
The Witcher series is trash by the way.
I wish cdpr would re-do the witcher trilogy so that the story is more coherent both to the books and to each other and the choices you make in each game carry over. Kind of like what Bioware promised us with Mass Effect but with an actual branching story line.
They killed the whole branching storyline idea with TW3. It's not coming back, devs hate when games have different paths but they will gladly give you 3 buttons to press at the end of the game.
Vex
TW3 retroactively decided that Roche good.
Iorveth, not siding with a glowie.
>siding with an ~~*elf*~~

this isn't even the final decision. next time i play i'll do the roche path but knock him out again and see how he reacts
Seems kind of shitty to screw Iorveth over when he's trusting you even if he is a bit of an asshole
Iorveth's path has the better quests.

And my favorite kind of magic – lesbomancy
Are there other RPG games that have significant portions of content locked behind choices like that?
Baldu..ACK
No Witcher 2 is the only game that does this. Other games just have small changes such as playing Chris vs Jill in Resident Evil.
Imagine believing this. Witchertards are truly retarded.
name a single game where the second half is completely different depending on your choice
Only one I can think of is Front Mission 3. Just that and Witcher 2. Everything else is an 'artificial choices' railroad.

Alpha Protocol
I helped Roche and thought thats why his horse was named that in 3.
Roche is a better man and travel companion, but the city is so much better than the army camp that I end up using Iorveth anyways
Dijkstra's enlightened despotism must prevail.
If it was just throwing Roche under the bus then I would have been tempted, but like hell was I gonna let him kill Thaler.
I killed him for two reasons
1.Threatening me
2.Thinking he could kill people I know in my presence without consulting me first
Both are fun. Do a playthrough with both.
I would've said Iorveth before Witcher 3, but after knowing that he and Saskia never appeared, just pick Roche everytime.
*Kiss Philippa*
saving a bunch of babes instead of killing some poduck sheriff is what geralt would do, so I did that
Technically the state considers me white now despite clearly not. Does that count?
FUCK KNIFE EARS
>did Roche's route
>ves acts like a stranger in W3
pain
what does she to you in w3 after you fux her?
Nothing changes.
Oh I totally did not read your post properly, my bad
>Did Iorweth path
>It didn't matter because he got cut in the development of TW3
Geralt lives in the world of men. That world not thinking he's a king slayer is more important.

>it's been 12 years
Anyway it's gotta be Broche, but I remember liking Iorveth and his path too.
Iorveth, if only because his Vegeta vibes at the end of chapter 3 were cool.
>Execute Order 66
roche on 1st playthrough, iorveth on 2nd
I like both of them but I think I like iorveth and his chapter more
