Which would better suit Vampire Hunter D, a souls-like by FromSoft or a character action from Platinum?
Or a kart racer from Nintendo?

A kart racer, because the other two are for mouthbreathing zoomers with zero taste and D can just succ items towards him
Would D ever have trouble with trash mobs?
I found his body in round table hold, so yes.
(His char was an obvious reference, right)
>platinum
lol
Give it to Capcom or poach the combat and level designers who worked on DMC 3, 4, and 5.
Wasn't there a Resident Evil-like on the PSX for D? Seems like it wouldn't be a bad fit.
There was one pretty good VHD game back on ps. Can’t remember what it was called.
It'd just be Castlevania Symphony of the Night but with more power level tism
A walking simulator/adventure game with small amounts of character action for the bosses
A Red Dead Redemption-like
VHD is a goddamn Mary Sue that was cutting 4D space and cleaving planets in half. A souls-like is an insult to him.
yeah he is pretty based
D's father is even more hax and solos Lovecraft gods

It already exists, it's called Bloodborne.
Just play Castlevania
No
Here’s your Vampire D game
Give it to the GOAT character action game developer.
>2004 game looks better in every way than the 2023
there's already that ps1 game that's closer to dmc 1 than anything
I think technology has come far enough where Yoshitaka Amano designs can be translated to 3D well enough. I'd be down for a whole game in his aesthetic.
Thoughts on D by Kenji Eno?
Never played it.
GOAT anime movie
Why not both? Souls-like, but it's as fast paced and with enough action like DMC or Bayo.
This is the right answer. You need the atmosphere of a souls-like but the gameplay of Bayonetta/DMC to truly match the insanity of the books and anime.
Think like that Playstation Vampire Hunter D game, but further polished, with superior mechanics, fast and crazy gameplay and presto.
Doesn't make sense. Dark Souls' atmosphere was because you were the poor little undead. Vampire Hunter D was like playing as one of the inexplicably harder-than-a-boss mobs wandering around.
>you were the poor little undead
I was a badass ninjaflipping waffle maker.
KINO
>zoomies think ufotable and MAPPA are gods of animation
>neither of them are even close to this
i mean what makes that particular clip so good is the unique compositions and general ideas behind the scenes. the animation is good but nothing spectacular. i'm not even a sakugabro
>anime will never look this good again
pain
Ahem
a classic RE clone
wtf shadowserg if he real?
