microsoft studios had a perfectly normal output in 2020 and 2021
but yeah 2022 has been dry as frick
there's only grounded and pentiment cooming later this year, both from obsidian
next year they'll release more games, supposedly
I like how it's like he's practically saying, "Well Sony, you didn't like that we bought Activision? Then frick you because we're going to buy more studios."
It's more like he's saying despite all the studios they have already purchased, they still can't keep up with Sony and Tencent. They own all these amazing studios and literally nothing to show for it still.
they've been romancing Asobo since the ONE but they're going harder now, MS flight sim is a huge project and Plague Tale 2 is day one on game pass, it really wouldn't surprise me since it's either them of Focus Home
just like skybox labs i don't think they're gonna buy a dedicated second party support studio unless the partnership threatened, it'd draw more heat than anything valuable
Tencent is looking to buy crytech they announced last year, so a swift maneuver just to avoid that would be adequate
and if they do end up with crytech, Cloud Imperium would be a no brainer so history can repeat itself
Moon Studios is happy to be alone but they might come back depending on their treatment by Private Division, and if someone else tries to buy them, MS would no doubt offer triple instantly
I just don't understand why with with all the infrastructure they have they don't establish some sort of dev school like i know 505 has, they'd need it to better staff their high turnover AAAA studios instead of buying others, and could probably get some more tax cuts for doing education or something similar
I heckin love megacorporations aggregating even more and monopolizing as much as possible! I friggin love the idea of just one giant conglomerate controlling everything y'all folx!
people need to stop supporting mega corporations, big massive companies buying everything else is not in anybodies interest. Stop being a stupid fricking fanboy just cause you bought the machine they shat out.
SEGA
So when are any of these studios they bought actually going to make a game?
It's not so much about making games, it's about making sure you stop the games appearing on the competing platforms in the future.
Sony is right to not want this to happen, they won't stop games appearing on Sony soon but they will in 3-4 years.

Sony moany posts started earlier than expected.
Never ever
Maybe Asobo Studios (MS Flight Sim) or Certain Affinity (Halo support studio since 2)
yeah it would make sense for them to solidifying their partnership

Soon they will buy Square Enix and Fromsoft and Sony will have nothing.
an anti-trust suit
Hoping they buy UbiShit and give the Might and Magic IP to someone among them who knows what he's doing with it.
Another pozzed studio, sadly
>pozzed publisher buys pozzed studio
Why is that sad? I hope that they go full moron with Windows so that they can die altogether.
Hopefully it's EA
>Hopefully it's EA
I can see this happening
>cod and football games on game pass
you can't do that, snoy would collapse
Nintendo will be bought one day. Only question is by whom.

Wasn't EA recently looking for someone to buy them up?
Paradox sadly
Sadly?
Paradox are the biggest israelites of the video game industry
Their DLC practices put everyone else to shame
