JRPGs and shmups are cut from the same cloth. Both are autism grinding sims designed to stretch out what little gameplay the developers put in as hard as possible.
>JRPGs and shmups are cut from the same cloth. >one is about mastering how to look at an XL spared sheet >the other is about having lightening fast reflexes and timing
Shumps are far closer to rhythm games/puzzle combat games. You don't need anywhere near the amount of concentration and focus to get through a jrpg. I've never even come remotely close to entering flow state for an rpg.
>the other is about having lightening fast reflexes and timing
Again with this meme. If you're playing a shmup and relying on reflexes you will never ever do a 1CC.
Autism and gender nonconformity go hand in hand. The kind of person who would play the same shit literally tens if not hundreds of thousands of times just for some arbitrary score or number on a timer is insanely autistic.
Which game filtered you, anon? If you tell us we can give you some tips so you can finally get that 1CC. There's no need to lash out because you're bad at vidya and refuse to improve yourself.
Not made by AAA devs, no marketing, not focused towards casuals or a broad market, not 3d, no multiplayer (usually), no normie replayability or collectables to get, just constantly replaying the same game, etc.
I enjoy them from time to time though, its a great challenge.
>there are people who will never reach stage 6 on a 1cc run
Shit's fucking magical, people don't know what they're missing. You can listen to Fires of Hokkai and Voyage 1969 all you like and they're great tracks, but it simply does not compare to the real deal.
normalfag casuals can't handle them
This. Shmups/games with arcade difficulty died in the saturn/dreamcast era, they got destroyed by jrpg ps1 slop and have never recovered.

i rote memorized normal stage 1-5 on IN
first time i actually got to stage 6 boss i cleared it no knowledge with resources and instinct dodging
You still memorized all but the last five milliseconds.
IDK man
Very arcadey. People moved on from shit like galaga and space invader
They're one of the most skill-based genres of vidya which immediately filters out casuals and midwits
It requires speedrunner tier autism and memorization. Unless you're part of some chud clique there's really no point in playing them at all.
Why are you so obsessed with transsexuals?

That doesn't answer my question
Thank god. Thanks for proving my point by the way
You will never be a real woman.
>memorization
>autism
> doj boolet
ngmi....
Shmups are not reaction based at all. It is all about memorization and grinding the same thing billions of times.

okuufag couldn't 1cc
I doubt a nonplayer like you can help anyone get better at memorization.
I'm sorry to hear you got filtered, anon.
I'm not autistic enough to want to play the same exact thing thousands of times just to show off to some other mentally ill retards on Discord.
Me neither.
Guess you don't play shmups then.
Touhou permanently absorbed all the attention so the rest of the games in the genre will never be popular

Same guy, also keep in mind the current state of video games. Zoomies think that Dark Souls is the staple hardest and unfair game ever.
Most people would never attempt to challenge themselves by playing games like this more than once.

I wish I didn't suck too much to 1cc ufo, it's my favorite of all the games I couldn't beat.
Is there a single modern shmup that not only doesn't penalize you for using bombs, but centers gameplay around it?
Yeah, Gunvein.

1ccs?
crimzon clover novice
I want to play one for the Switch that won't cause it to slow down to hell and back. Any suggestions?
why is Clownpi so sexual?
Also they filter most casuals.
Why are you unpopular
