Hey guys, remember how the only way to get more pokemon in Colosseum to fill up the PC boxes were to trade Nincadas and evolve them?
That has nothing to do with Grand Colosseum, I just thought it was neat trivia
They were only made so you can get kanto pokemon into pokemon R/S/E, they have nothing interesting going on and just 1:1 boring remasters of the original.
I wish Pokemon games just were like the GameCube ones with the handheld games content and Pokemon catching. The GameCube games had a premium soundtrack and combat system. I liked the more serious tone in those games too. Pokemon could be such a good franchise but they choose for it not to be.
Honestly they made a mistake adding so many each generation. They should've just had a new region, story, and some unique mechanics with the first few hundred
Grand Colosseum not only acts as a difficulty hack to one of the hardest pokemon games out there, but brings a host of QOL changes, including but not limited to
. Physical/Special split
. Fairy type
. 65 New moves
. Stat/type/Ability updates and changes (In line with Drayano's hacks)
. Revamped TM list with 8 new TMs
. Infinite TM use
. New shadow encounters
. Gym themed Colosseum battles
. Higher difficulty
. Alolan Ninetales and Marowak
, Different versions based on which set of starters/legendario trio you want
eh fuck it i'll give it a go, was just thinking about vanilla colosseum this morning but it's too soon to replay it and i fucking hate xd's protagonist, thanks for letting me know it exists
So from what I could find, here are the version differences.
Obvious in retrospect, but I thought they'd go the distance and change the starter Espeon/Umbreon but maybe that's either unchangeable or just too 'iconic' or something. Oh well.
I wish these hard mode romhacks would stop assuming I'm some tourneyfag that knows what the fuck a fairy type is. I just want something that isn't baby mode like the original games
>added fairy type
no thanks
Goddamn those faces look awful. Why didn't they fix that shit?
>Stat/type/Ability updates and changes (In line with Drayano's hacks)
bye

That's pretty clever. I wonder if some mega autist has tried getting a living dex in Colusseum using that method.
I am XD
>FR/LG
can you even fix these games?
Ultra Fire Red XD is a prequel to Clover
FRLG+
What's wrong with them?

And? It's exactly what people would've expect from a remaster back then
Modern Pokémon remakes wouldn't bother adding something like the Sevii Islands.
Pokemon DarkViolet exists
I read that as "ultra filtered".
both it and the other clover spin-off ultra filtered most pokemon players

more like rvzhack lul
did they add new maps or speed up battles/make less of?

I think gen 2 got it right with the amount of pokemon added
What's different in this rom hack

Into the trash it goes.

The only qol this game need is being able to speed up the fucking thing and skip animations
did they put that in?
That's an ISO not a rom

Because modern romhacks add all the shit from the newer gens that I don't want. I'm playing a gen 3 because I want to play gen 3, not gen 6.
does it have the troon split?
That's no pokemon unbound or clover
For me it's.
>XD
fuck off
The base game is hard enough already
