because one of them is garbage
yeah, one is great, the other one sucks
Only one of them features a princess (male) to protect.
Nioh is garbage, I can't stand a bajillion pieces of armor, I can't stand having to press a button to regain stamina, it's just an unpleasant game overall.
i-it generates automatically anon...morons that can't press one button after endlessly spamming attack can regenerate their stamina like other souls games...
filtered as frick
the irony being that they're filtered by not using a filter.
yeah... i much rather would press dodge over and over.
Sekiro is garbage, imagine playing a MELEE game where you only press two buttons, it's feels like fricking shit
Some guy once told me that I for some reason cant like Souls games /Sekiro and Nioh. I HAVE to take a side.
I'm sad that the only Nioh discussion revolves around 2 and not 1. Nioh has by far the better fanbase and community, but no one likes Nioh 1 anymore.
Sekiro has the problem of being grouped together with 7 other games so when you talk about Sekiro it immediately becomes kingscoresoulsbornekiroring and the discussion get padded out with allusions to other off-topic games. I do not care about fromslop. I like Sekiro, because of tenchu fanboyism. Simple as.
Rare level headed take
The only thing going for 1 is the story and tighter range of mechanics. Personally I think the yokai ki & confusion changes in 2 are a very welcome rebalance.
Why the hell would people talk about 1 when 2 is pretty much a direct upgrade in every department?
I like character customization and the ability to make builds, same reason I love souls games is the reason I haven't touched Sekiro.
because game on the right is shit. even dragon's dogma by standards set by FROMSOFT is okay'ish, but Nioh is outright cringe diablo clone with bad DMC take on combat.
>little bro couldn't beat the first mini boss
you can just walk by him, you know. he's optional. and wait until you find out the items don't mean a thing until you're in the second to last difficulty.
Fromcuck games are shit and are the reason why action games are dead
Redditors get filtered by gameolay so they play souls shit to cope
I hate both.
I like both, but I love one.
One is a game the other is a movie game
Sekiro feels good to play is perfectly designed and paced, for what it is. Nioh 2 has more complexity but its flimsy and unsatisfying to play, and it lacks good level design and combat encounters. That's why I don't like Nioh.
Yeah I played Nioh 1 years ago and enjoyed it enough to beat it despite the flaws you mentioned, then after all the bait getting thrown around in threads just like this I finally caved and bought Nioh 2 to see if all the praise was warranted and I honestly prefer the first one.
>Sekiro feels good to play
You're fricking braindead, the jump and the attacks are delayed, the only thing that feels good is the parry
You're also fricking braindead
You're a moron aren't you?
>no your experience is wrong you didn't actually like it
Are anons really so dense as to not understand other people might like certain things more or less than they personally did
I like sekiro the least because there isn't any character customization or builds, I like nioh 2 the most because it has the most character customization and builds ( you can literally create a build tailored around a specific move). The learning curve is a bit steep if you are not dedicated. And later on, when you have a strong build, you just melt enemies and it becomes piss easy. That's why I usually start over a save to get that feel.
They're very different, Nioh is a shitty mission-based looter while Sekino is Lvdo
It's an anonymous image board, and yet Gankertards spends so much time trying to validate their identity and prove how hardcore they are
It's always been like this. Ganker in particular is just incapable of liking more than one thing for whatever reason
Arguments aren't fun if everyone agrees, pick a side and join in.
If I wanted to have fun, then I'd go play video games, or do something else that isn't arguing with morons on Ganker. I come here on the off-chance I might discover another game I might like to play someday soon.
Then you're in the wrong thread, lurk more. Nobody wants to hear your feminine rants.
I do though.
>shitkiro feels good to play
>attack delay+60fps
KEK fromcucks are beyond repair
Literal mindless drones
I played Sekiro at 120fps
Bop it
Because Sekiro is good and I haven't played Nioh yet.
I don't think about From's games at all, people shove them in my face and demand I worship them.
Formtards can't handle pressing more than 2 buttons
man, this thread really does seem to line up with the idea that there's this 'polarity' to people and we can't love both games here, it's very strange hearing such harshly conflicting opinions presented with such genuineness
I generally love From's games, but Sekiro's lack of customization made me not touch it, I adore Nioh 2, it feels like it took everything from the first and improved upon it, and the character creator was fantastic
Nioh 1/2 might literally be the perfect combat in an action game. Sekiro is alright.
Sekiro is the only good fromshit game made besides a few AC titles. Nioh 2 is just a better action game
For me it's
Sekiro > Nioh 1 = Nioh 2 (same game really let's be honest) >>>>>>>>> souls shit/ER
Because both have a fundamentally different combat which makes them entire different games.
Its pretty moronic to compare them
I lost interest in Nioh 2 after a week, too much bloated RPG stuff and the contracts are repetitive
I'm tired of RPG mechanics man just let me bonk increasingly harder but well balanced enemies with a sword, I don't want to worry about my lv and my gear and whether they're at a sufficient lv to beat a boss
i love them both, there's just 0 reason to play sekiro after one playthrough.
but anon if you didn't complete a no damage charmless speedrun you didn't beat the game
Different endings, different bosses and enemies, different quest lines
Please tell me they got rid of the "Diablo" loot system in Nioh 2
It's just fricking annoying picking up over a hundred useless items per level then having to sort through them to find the 1-2 good ones when selling/dismantling
>pick up new gear
>arrow point up - equip, or don't
>arrow point down - leave it or take it
>finish mission
>blacksmith
>dismantle
>press the select all button
>revel in mats you're not gonna use for another 30 hours yet
You interact with the loot system so little on the first run which, let's face it, is the only run you're going to do. Beyond that gets too difficult for you if you're really pulling your hair out over little blue numbers.
>autoselect everything below the highest rarity available
>offer everything
>sorted by item/+ level
>ignore everything that isn't highest and use the rest for fodder to increase +
they never made it any easier this game's QoL for shitty item management is actually really high. The only thing that's REALLY criminal is trying to get a -1 set bonus requirement accessory with your desired grace on it.
I do, I'm very happy about it
Because one of them is simply a shit game and you need double digit IQ to like it. Niohgays are just pathetic.
There's no need to insult peoples' intelligence for preferring two-button combat, maybe they have a disability of some kind?
Because FROM and Team Ninja are two shinobi families fighting in modern times through entertainment products based on their ancestors.
theyre both good games, sekiro has a lot more direct "question/answer" gameplay where the enemy will do a thing and you as the player must respond with the correct answer, and it can end up being really fluid once you know what all the questions are and have all the answers available to respond with, nioh has a lot more systems going on and feels a lot more like trying to mesh 2 gears together, it might be tough if its off center or out of time or if they arent really a good fit for one another, but once you know how to change your gear you can set it up to mesh with any other gear in the game and have fun in any encounter or fighting any enemy cause you have a shitzillion things you can actively do as a player and recovery times are near nonexistent.
just enjoy both games for what they offer
Because I only play RPGs, there is no reason to play some shitty action-adventure like Sekiro.
>updated Sekiro with "online function" which is pretty much just other players messages scattered all over the world
What a useless and immersion breaking feature, did souls players ask for this
only one of them is good
In terms of game design, they're diametrically opposed. Most people will either love Sekiro and hate Nioh 2 or love Nioh 2 and hate Sekiro depending on what they like when it comes to combat.
>diablo loot
Nioh will never be good.
Both shit.
Both are kino and they are completely different games that make no sense to compare.
