Try playing mass effect 1. the skill trees feel like out of a MMO where 1 skill point gives you a 3% damage boost to pistols, same for the copy paste dungeons with copy paste enemies which make up 95% of the game.
The skill "tree" in 2 is exactly the same, but with even less options >copy paste dungeons with copy paste enemies which make up 95% of the game.
Thats literally every bioware game, tb h
Nah, Mass Effect 2 gave you less filler and the perk points actually give you meaningful numbers. Hell the end of the skill tree you have to decide between 2 perk specializations
How? Shittier story, shittier companions, shittier exploration and especially shittier """roleplaying"". Yeah, tbe combat while still janky was better, but I dont play fucking >bioware games for their combat
>Shittier story
ME2's story was better and it wasn't carried of promises on something that will happen in the sequel. >shittier companions
it cuts all the shitty companions from 1 and adds a bunch of great ones like Thane and Legion >shittier exploration
oh yeah, the bland planet terrains with the same dungeon were better than hand-crafted quest planets that were all unique, right? retard. >roleplaying
choices in ME2 actually matter, unlike ME1 where there is like one choice that affects anything
Why do people say the gameplay was better in this one? >same garbage level design as the first >same bullet sponge enemies in tiny encounters like the game is built for the PSone >Sheppard still controls like a 90s RE character >AI companions have even worse pathfinding and flat out ignore orders >Global cooldowns to make sure you play the game like Gears of Bore no matter what class you pick
Mass Effect 1 at least had its equipment menus and exploration bits to dilute the garbage combat. In ME2 its just all shooting all the time unless there is a cutscene playing
Why do xbox morons spam the same threads over and over? All the mass effect games suck. KOTOR sucks, Dragon Age sucks, Elder Scrolls sucks, Fable sucks, New Vegas sucks. Get the fuck out of here and go back to plebbit, you moron
They believed there was the possibility to achieve great success with the mainstream audience interested in cover-shooters, and that the substantial character interactions would be seen as "novel" by them. And, devil's advocate, they weren't incorrect: it was significantly more successful, and generally remains the most popular entry in the series.
I love the mass effect trilogy so fucking much. I wish they would just do a C-Sec game where you play as a cop on a drug task force or something instead of bringing back old plot lines. I have 0 faith in mass effect 4
I don't know. I was actually a huge fan of the Mako sections and running around the silly empty worlds cause it built a sense of scope in making a SPACE OPERA. To see all these great but rough mechanics and then instead of developing them they decide to go in the opposite direction. Making the game, and by extension, the universe, smaller. They put themselves in a box they could never get out of.
ME1 fanboys are such More Quantity = Better gays. Good thing I'm into boardgames where people care about minimalist game design and there's none of this shitty mentality. Stick to MMOs if you like quantity over everything else.
Everything wanted to either CoD or Gears if War at that time
You mean less of an MMORPG
What the fuck are you even on about, retardbro

you already made this thread earlier
You will never be a janny, chud
the first game is so good but i cant stand this one and never finished it
Unlike DA2, ME2 was superior than its predecessor
This

doesn't DA2 literally take place in one area for the whole game? I thought that had worse time constraints than ME2 development
Hey, theres also, ughhh, that little are outside the city!!
Why make the same thread twice?
Dumb newfag

And they were right. To this day ME is one of the, if not THE most beloved """rpgs""" by normies

This is going to sound fucking gay but most people don't expect scifi games to be RPG's and care less about it. I know, I know.
The difference is, DA2 was dogshit. ME2 was good. DAO > ME > ME 2 >>> ME 3 > DA 2

ME2 is the best ME game ever made
