well?
i didn't want one
Tendies really do brag about sales but then buy 5 different models of the same system with different stickers printed on them
1000 dollars really? It looks cool but for a 2 ds i'm not so sure.
it was ¥17,258 in 2018

Then it's a great little collectors thing but I wouldn't pay 1000 if you played with it.
I already had a 3DS, I didn't need another just because it looks different.
If I didn't already have a 3DS I would've gotten it but I'm not buying a 2nd thing of a system I already have just for a different color
I bought a 3DS XL in 2013 for $150 new and a gateway 3ds when it came out. I regret the gateway 3ds but at least it gave me a year or two of free games.
>Twilight Princess Hylian Shield on the box
>design on the system is actually based on the Skyward Sword/BotW Hylian Shield
It's minor but it's weird that Nintendo of all people would frick this kind of detail up
Nintendo fricks up details all the time
winning bid was 130k huh
I would have bought a few myself back in 2018 but I was probably worried customs would open up my shit
you really need to be Japan-based if you want to flip consoles
I've thought about getting into scalping myself, but I'd rather just invent in index funds to be quite honest.
guy on ebay selling dozens of JP xb3 gamecard-less collector's edition copies and making at least $70 on each copy (yes I deducted whatever fees he must be paying)
it's good money I think
It depends on the profit I'd be getting over just investing in the stock market. I also would have to actively store the items, have a presence on eBay, work with customers, etc.
The most lucrative market seems to be limited edition consoles and niche games, but you have to wait 5 to 10 years to realize a reasonable profit on those
yeah storage is an issue
rural Japan here I come
>spend $200
>wait 4 years
>make $400 if you can even sell it for that much
>buy thing
>do absolutely nothing for four years
>make $400 in a few minutes (making a listing, shipping the thing)
sounds good to me?
