I built a PC for the first time in my live in November and this fricking cable made my life miserable.
      Everything else was mostly ok.

They're labeled but their spot in the MB is very poorly marked and small.
And all this effort went to waste since DD2 will be swimming in malicious DRM and I should've bought a console.

They had an issue a couple years ago with a software error that couldn't reasonably be counteracted with normal pilot training causing two full hull losses. Then in the past couple weeks a door exploded off a brand new plane and would've killed some people if the seats next to it hadn't been empty.

Front panel connectors are the least of my worries. Try having a $250 power supply shipped with an exposed copper wire on your 12VHWPR cable and having to quadruple check your gpu connector, knowing you can't resocket it after a number of times doing so.

Those need some kind of locking mechanism that holds the connectors onto the adapter so they don't just slip off when you go to plug it into the mobo. The single power LED connectors in particular tend to be very loose.

I'm really not sure why cases still come with the separated connectors instead of a single 8-pin connector like the front panel USB uses. I think mobo manufacturers all use the same pin layout now anyway.

Plugging it in is easy enough but unplugging can be hella sketchy.
Kind of like the 24-pin power the connectors are often super tight and feel like you're gonna break it by pulling too hard. You gotta carefully wiggle back and forth like 1000 times to get it to come loose.

sounds like a skill issue. they're the same type of pin that projects out of the motherboard front panel header
