Name a single game you actually finished this year, or even the one before. Personally, not a single one. Last one for me was SOMA and I believe it's a perfect ending for me. I'm getting old, and my views on family and friendships and other matters have diminished my enjoyment of video games. I don't care about Denuvo anymore, I don't care about Steam sales, I don't care about starting up Team Fortress 2 and play more than a single round knowing I'm just going to get stuck in that endless cycle of 60 seconds before pushing that meaningless cart while raging on every spy and spawn camping demoman, I want something new out of life. 30 years of gaming and waging. Wife of 11 years died, my brothers don't share the same hobbies as me anymore. There's more to life, but I've been stuck here for so long I don't know what else is out there, perhaps time will tell. Sorry for the pathetic rant.
Why do you keep a backlog?
CRIME Shirt $21.68 |
Shopping Cart Returner Shirt $21.68 |
CRIME Shirt $21.68 |
Backlogs turn vidya into a job so I don't keep one, just play whatever when I feel like it
Nice blog btw
Why did he do it?
He fell for the marriage meme
I keep a backlog because there are games that I want to play in the future
I could have saved that penguin
>Name a single game you actually finished this year, or even the one before.
I just finished no more heroes today, maybe you should stop browsing this shithole and play vidya instead?
sorry for your loss
play outer wilds
Elden Ring.
Callisto Protocol

Summertime Saga
I finished 63 games last year according to steam

I beat Bayo2 (up to hard) this year and now im playing Elden Ring.
Last year includes Xenoblade 2 and 3, Kirby and the forgotten land, Digimon Survive, Astral Chain, etc.
Gaming is one of my hobbies. I have many others. Just add some more so you aren't burned out.
Sky King... I hope you're flying high up in heaven like you always wanted to.
I don't have backlogs. I play what I feel like at the time and delete games I'm bored of
Catherine: Full Body. It's a great game, I loved its' style but it's about relationship with women so maybe give it time, anon.
Caligula Effect: Overdose
Kinda shitty game which is understandable given the low budget but whatever, at least the second one seems better so far
I read that in his voice. Also, play The Outer Wilds
I don't have a backlog. I just play stuff as it comes.
I just finished Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone, it was kino, I can understand why people appreciate it.
My life did change after I was over with MGSV, nothing felt the same since, I feel like part of my vidya life died along with the franchise. I play games differently now, I mostly play old games I've missed out on, or I couch coop with friends even if they suck, it's okay.
I finished fire emblem engage
I don't have backlogs because I don't decide "okay I want to play these 12 games" I just play what I want to play and don't feel compelled to finish or drop because something new is out
I have beaten Pokemon Violet, Travis Strikes Again, Kaze and the Wild Masks and the Dadish trilogy in the first 21 days of 2023.
I am currently playing Blue Reflection, but I reckon that one will take more time.
If not larp my condolenses how did she die?
She was uninstalled.
Oh I also played the entirety of the Kiryu numbered Yakuza games last year. If I wasn't so old they would have taught me how to be a man.
I finish around 25 games per year, ranging from all generations. 20 if it's a particular tough year at work.
That's more or less 2 games a month.
Granted, I barely leave my house for anything except my job.
Forgot to mention I pirate 99% of my games, so there's that too.
January so far.
