this, its the shiny penny of style over substance
going from Sunshine to Galaxy is like running face first into a brick wall, the actual gameplay is unbelievably sluggish
And yet it's still better than "Okay little Timmy, now do three jumps on this little baby planet so a LAUNCH STAR can give you a big epic cool cutscene!"
Sunshine at least has intent in its level designs, Galaxy is if Lethal Lava Land and Rainbow ride was the entire game of Mario 64. And even then I hate to compare those to Galaxy, because 64 is an absolute masterpeice while Galaxy is remembered for everything BUT gameplay
Mario 3D all-stars got us a chance to play it with a normal controller and without the childhood excitement of it being on the wacky crazy Wii console. It was always shit, the rose-colored glasses just came off.
If 3d all-stars had Galaxy 2 people would've hated that one as well, it's BARELY better and also has dumb shit like some of the unbelievably lazy green star placements, such as the ones that are immediately behind the starting point or the ones that are just at the same place where the regular star is, but somewhat inconvenient
>She sucks
No, you suck, nagger. >The Lumas are stupid too.
I'll give you that. Especially in the recent movie. Whoever made the Luna dialogue in that movie should be beaten to death
i don't think any sane person here hates it. It's just the usual contrarians who hate anything for the sake of purposely not fitting in with the majoirty.
Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario are two peas in a pod. They’d be the best 3D and 2D Mario games by far respectively, but are held back by lacking controls and wagglin gimmicks (and the latter game’s level design isn’t good either).
galaxy is a boring slow pretentious wagglefest and the wii and it's consequences have been a disaster for every mainline nintendo series it has touched
It's the last good and fresh Mario game that felt like an evolution of its predecessors before the series started eating its own tail with Galaxy 2 and 3D games.
It took away the advanced movement options from 64 and sunshine, it's a little slower and streamlined. so people who have fucked around playing those two games for years will find it underwhelming. The planetoid gimmick wears out its welcome a bit. I think any reasonable person would recognize it as still a quality game but one that sacrifices high skill ceiling play and has a few trite gimmicks.
I don't. It's by far the most soulful mario game ever made and the level design is top tier. I don't really care if the game's movement is more "slugish" I have sunshine/64/odyssey if I want that type of movement and freedom instead.
Mario effect
Galaxy has always been zoomer trash that failed to live up to 64 and Sunshine.

Sunshine's level design is terrible

But enough about Odyssey
This but the opposite.
Galaxy was a breath of fresh air after the dog shit that was Sunshine.
Sunshine was disappointing though.
Blame it on Nintendo's obsession for cheap, dogshit hardware.
kys bald contrarian retard

It has slow movement and it's boring to replay and I replayed it 2 months ago.
because it looks better than modern nintendo games despite being several generations behind
>480p but with blur
>720p
learn the difference retard
It's not 480p in 3D all-stars
its flawed for sure but i wouldnt say terrible
The story was shit
It introduced the ugly space bitch
>ugly space bitch
What a homosexual. Rosalina is the best girl of Mario
She sucks. The Lumas are stupid too.
>She sucks
No, you suck, nagger.

I'll give you that. Especially in the recent movie. Whoever made the Luna dialogue in that movie should be beaten to death

>shit story
>can't actually play as Luigi just some stupid clone
>gimmick controls

You are dumb. Everyone hates Mario Galaxy. Go out once in a while, yeah?
SMG soundtrack has some of the best orchestral compositions of all time let alone from video games
Take the nostalgia goggles off boomer.
because U R MR GAY
It feels more linear than 64 but I still love it.

Ganker is not one person you homosexual have a nice day
galaxy is a boring slow pretentious wagglefest and the wii and it's consequences have been a disaster for every mainline nintendo series it has touched
at least it wasn't sunshine
>literal retarded baby game where you go to gay baby jail then get sent to hell for 120 shines
Ganker is the same board tha praises trash like The Witcher and BG3

Why are retards criticizing Galaxy for something it did by design?
I still consider it the best 3D Mario, personally I liked Galaxy 2 more but they are similar enough.
