Atleast most of them are hardstuck on haz 3 and 4. Haz 5 and edd's are still relatively safe.
That gayry was rampant on haz4 and below before Sseth's video, but now I've started to see it crop up more on haz5 as well.
I have yet to see anything out of the ordinary on haz 5 but if i do see one of them i will probably grief them for a while before kicking them since i always host.

Also lets other people who are so dedicated to their "mains" have them, but it's annoying when you go gunner to support people and they suck at their chosen classes or if all the gays want to go scout when we really should've had an engie.

Driller's a mixed bag. I love the sludge pump, but I hate everything else about him pretty much, especially how he's got fucking nothing when caught out.

Like, Gunner has the shield as the ultimate panic button. Engie has multiple great grenades for getting out of a big problem. Scout can grapple out or use one of his many grenades.
But Drilller's got fucking nothing. The only way to get safe seems to be hoping that Sprint is up and that you have a good line to run from the situation. His grenades all seem to suck besides the single damage from axes, and Satchel can only really give you a kamikaze out.

Triple Tech Chamber, 22113
the gist is that you use the lv1 charge multiple times as it's incredibly ammo efficient and 1shots acid spitters and grunts through elec trail damage, 2 small charges in a V formation slow down incoming swarms and allow your primary to mow them down more easily. Stun > Fear because there's no fire, damage resist can be used while falling.
Full charge x3 does a fair bit of damage and can chunk far away threats like menaces and wardens in case you are using an inaccurate primary like the autocannon or bullet hell minigun.
The other anon's build is good. I like running 23122 Hellfire. The wide, long-range burn beam is great for clearing anything smaller than a Praetorian. Pairs better with primaries that are more single target focused, naturally.
he's the class that focuses on killing enemies, but the devs keep adding new enemies to the game that are not fun to kill

He easily has the most clutch potential of any glass and is the last line before mission failure. That being said it's fine to not enjoy a class and I have 1000 hours in this game total playing only 2 classes for the last 800. If it's that obvious to you that you don't like a class then just don't play them

from what I've experienced, you can only re-roll into a scrip mission once a day if you didn't already have it as an option when you logged on. It should be the first thing a re-roll brings. For me my first re-roll of a day almost guaranteed turns into the lithophage daily if I didn't already have it or complete it that day.

I like all the classes, but driller is my least favorite. Its mostly his shitty secondaries. I haven't found one that doesn't feel awful to use.
Drills are his secondary weapon.

I eventually figured out I like/dislike individual builds within classes, not the classes as a whole. I like one single built with driller and absolutely refuse to play anything different. same with all the other classes, I like only one build on engi and find all his other guns cringe. yes I have autism
Colette with temp shock + flame/cryo is awesome
I use Heavy Hitter 12321 EPC and almost never use the charge shot. It's very effective paired with Cryo. Freezing, tossing an Axe, and shooting a few EPC bullets kills a Pretorian quick. I still use it on my sludge and flamethrower builds for dealing with Spitters.
Driller is the hardest class to play properly

Driller is about his primary weapons. The exact opposite of Engie, whose main draw is HIS secondary weapons.
I really like the wavecooker actually. Built well it can clear waves, especially if there are a bunch of tiny enemies. It still needs a little bit of primary help here and there, but it's great with the exploding powerup.
I only play Gunner. The last time I played any other class was when I was starting out on the game and I have zero games on Scout.
I have big gun. The big gun works against literally everything I want to destroy. It works on swarms because it does a lot of rapid damage. It works on bulky targets because the damage is not spread out. It works on close targets because it's a minigun. It works on distant targets because the attacks are concentrated. It works on players who jump in my line of fire for 0,3 seconds.
I have a zipline. It sucks for its intended purpose but it's great at its unintended purpose, which is to make me invincible against ground-dwelling enemies. The glyphids cannot reach me, the game has to go out of its way to spawn projectile-flinging enemies just to get me off my line. It gives me a great view on the cavern which allows me to attack most enemies in range, whether they've just spawned or they're swarming a teammate.
I have a shield. This shield is the most broken thing in the entire game. This shield regenerates shield and lasts a pretty good while. This shield allows me to jump in and revive teammates without worrying about bugs. This shield allows me to prevent defeat by protecting teammates who are getting swarmed. This shield allows me to salvage a run in case the "defend this area" objective suffered from Sudden Bulk Detonator Syndrome.
I use fire grenades so I can nullify the cryo effects of other classes.
I love Gunner. It's a straightforward class.

It's fun for sniping the shit out of Praet's and bosses but other than that it pretty much sucks. Scout weapons are terrible for wave clear in higher Haz, lacking both in AoE and total ammo. Also a good amount of their overstocks are bad or straight up memes. (Looking at you Hoverclock, Double Barrel, Special Powder)
Boomerang for CC and the SMGs in to weakpoints make up for it.
Either way it's the funnest class by far.

I actually stopped reviving scouts and just let my teammates deal with it because I got fed up.
Every class mobility tool benefit the whole team since everyone can make use of them and stay together, but scout grappling hook only benefit themselves. This lead to one too many scunt zipping away from the team to some god forsaken corner, and into a cave leech. It doesn’t help that they have the least combat power of all the classed, which it really show when you play in haz 4,5,and 5.5. Scout wouldn’t be so hated if most of them learn to control the urge of grappling hook away, stay with the team, and light up the damn cave

The classes are as deep as you make em - you can either just think "ooga booga paint floor with fire" as driller, or go as far as considering bunkering, drilling for cover, weapon combos, etc. Not rocket science, but def more complex than scout's job.
It's harder to do that for gunner (simplest class lmao) but you can try to put more thought into ziplines, ammo conservation, etc.
Scout's is arguably easiest and most braindead if you boil it down to "shoot flare for ore, shoot flare for bug, spam cryo when anything larger than a swarmer touches me" lmao
It should be whoever has aggro kiting the boss away, not necessarily the scout.

shoot bug, remember to use shield, save ziplines for large changes in elevation. And for the love of fuck hit r in chat before you hit the button
use your shield to block off driller tunnels when you're leaving if you're getting swarmed and people need to get in. use them when your teammates have no ammo and there's a resupply but a ton of bugs. ziplines are great for safely getting down and sometimes up and away from enemies.
It's fine if you have a favorite class, but you should learn to play every class to understand what your teammates are capable of doing.
AC with Combat Mobility OC. Spec for more ammo rate of fire rate of fire damage armor breaking and more damage of damage resistance.
You'll only have 55 bullets per mag but you piss them out super fast like that stick figure meme with the guy telling the other guy to see how fast he can piss.

all 4 of your mines will do a whopping 200dmg to a dread after its explosive damage resistance eats half the damage, and thats assuming it's not even in a invul phase. what are you people smoking
Plug up holes in the ceiling from supplies, hackc etc.
If you know you're gonna be in a big cave for a while don't hesitate to place a staircase or two if your driller is slacking, don't want to be caught without escape route during a swarm.
You don't have to have both sentries up at all times, one is enough if you're on a move especially if you're using turret whip. Otherwise praet = waste of ammo. Recall and place the other one, that'll keep you covered.
Ammo efficiency is important. Don't roll with lok1 and fat boy and triple dip on every resupply, if you want to use something with low ammo you better pair it up with a gun that can pick up the slack.
You can use bug repellent to force bugs into funneling where you want them (mines) if you place your cheese smart. You can test this out on a solo mission with molly since she uses glyphid ai when following.
Multiple proximity mines in the same spot are better for dealing with dreadnoughts than many all over the place. Also less likely to hit your teammates as well.
Remember that your turrets will keep shooting at enemies as long as they are in range and have ammo. While this is usually a good thing, it can cause problems if you are trying to kill a bulk detonator at a certain spot, like away from Doretta.
Shredders dab on proximities all day every day. Place your turrets correctly
A single mine can do more damage more quickly than shredders, it just takes thought into placing them well

Recalling turrets will automatically reload them. If you don't care about the extra ammo it is much more efficient to pick Quick Deploy over quick reload.

This advice is not wrong or anything but I'd say that it doesn't hurt to be a bit more conservative when regarding deploying turrets. Sure it doesn't hurt to do so but burning the turret ammo on every small fry you see means you ain't gonna have much left for when shit gets real. Like an actual swarm or some unexpected beefy target.
Also keep an eye out for heavy armored targets so that you know when to recall your turrets. No point in letting them waste the ammo on something like an Oppressor or Dreadnaughts.
This one should be obvious, but for the love of god do not be one of those Engis who panic tosses proximity mines.

The Gunner will sometimes put zips up while defending so he can get a bird's eye view and avoid melee bugs, first of all, use those zips too if there's extra, it's what they're for and he will feel validated, second, as an engi putting a line of plats under the zip so if a tri jaw or something knocks him down is very cozy.
You can make a great bunker by simply making a roof against a wall to fight under instead of blocking people's shots by making a cave or something. It'll keep bugs away from your rear and above without tempting fate from bulks like a driller style cave bunker.

I used them before shredders were added. They’re effective enough and if you have extras at the end of a mission you can have a dance party in the drop pod. What’s not to love?
The swarm grenade helps a lot with smaller enemies but I think lure has more potential to help the team (you can make enemies turn their back so the team can kill them, slowdown detonators, lure some shots from ranged units). Either way lure is boring so just pick a more fun grenade.
I think L.U.R.E. + Spinning Death is a fine combo.

I did the same for a while but it's better to join a random lobby to get a feel for the team dynamics. Just start at Haz 3 to get your feet wet before bumping it up when the swarms start to become numerous. Know what your class can handle and always stay on the move, also have good target priorities.
The game is pretty easy, just bind your tools closer to wasd. It's very important to switch weapons fast.
If you haven't grasp the idea of what you are supposed to do in each mission type, then yeah sure. Otherwise just go ahead and hop into multiplayer. Just keep in mind to ask your teammates first before you start anything.

They could make his zipline a bit faster but overall he's probably the most important class in the game at haz5. Everything you do is setup for gunner to perform better because he benefits the most from it
Gunner barely has a niche outside of being a support bitch, you think he'd be the main bug killer of a team but he gets shit on by any engineer. His traversal tool is useful a fraction of the time compared to the others, though you can use it for a gay baby jungle gym that makes you invincible until any ranged enemies spawn.
I play as Driller when I play with friends and I usually end up having the most kills in the party. We play one Driller, two Gunners, one Engineer - no much thought put into team composition, just choosing whatever everyone likes the most. Isn't Gunner supposed to have the highest DPS? Am I killstealing their mobs or is Driller just better than Gunner?
Driller should have more than gunner but less than engi if everyone is equal

The higher difficult missions are called elite deep dives, on those I had more clears with noobs than people with 300+ level. I really think its not about killing but having fun and mining fast.
Having one (good) Scout for flares and grabbing secondary objectives makes runs a lot smoother. Scout also pairs very well with Engineer.

When you hit a tipping point of having enough ammo between resupplies, it's time to start considering other benefits though, like damage buffs. More effective range. More ammo is great but holding the trigger longer can be more effective with certain other adjustments.

Just move the scout overclock/upgrade for homing bullets and give it to Gunner. Make it look stylish and Gunner would be fun to play, but for a class that only focuses on killing shit you are pathetic.

Gunner already has a "homing bullets" OC, essentially, with his ricocheting rounds from Bullet Hell. Not to mention the Revolver's Magic Bullets.

Magic Bullets ricochet 100% of the time, and if you actually tried Bullet Hell, you'd find that "75% chance of ricochet" is guaranteed enough to shred things in practice because you are absolutely shitting rounds out of your minigun anyways, and that dice roll is constantly happening. It's certainly not an overpowered OC but it is kind of fun to fire into groups of glyphid swarmers and watching them be mopped up with even greater ease.

I think the save editor only workd for overclocks not cosmetics. To get all tye cosmetics you have to download someone's save file with everything, then you could save edit it's level back down to your original level if you cared

Gunner is my favorite class because it's just so satisfying mowing shit down with a BFG and apart from that it's mostly just relaxing
Engineer is my least favourite class because I feel he relies a little on scout (and vice versa) and at that point I'd rather just play scout since you get the fun mobility. though his secondaries are fun

Main reason to take RJ250 is combat effectoveness, the rocketjumping is just for fun, emergency situations and occasional extra mobility when your scout is scunt.
RJ250 is the best overclock if you wanna run standard PGL. Just pick the heat mod and with fire all grunts die the same but you have a lot of ammo.

i use the spinning death breach cutter for that. people meme on it but you can sit in the spinning blades and quick deploy both your turrets while the beam stuns and chews up a swarm around you. granted, it's little help for macteras

I have nearly 200 hours in DRG now and I'm insanely impressed that the Engineer's auto-shotgun is the worst gunplay experience I've had in a FPS since Doom 3's shotgun.
Mini Shells combined with Turret Whip is fun

There are worse guns in FPS games easily, shotgun's just meh compared to the average DRG gun.
It somehow manages to be worse than the Scout shotgun, which is already terrible in its own regard. I seriously think they intended the Engi shotty solely for utility in weakpoint stunning, armor shredding, and whipping, because it sucks as a primary.
I see shitty primaries as a trade-off for how good his secondaries are.

Gunner improves a lot as soon as you've got Born Ready and can keep pumping out damage instead of waiting through his lengthy reloads/cooldowns.

I find autocannon and even Hurricane a significantly better choice for swarm missions on average, but I still use minigun on dreadnought missions. I love that charged missile-burst OC for the Hurricane, I can chunk Praetorians and Oppressors with it and it even has some use in blowing up a whole crowd.
Burning Hell Minigun is great in almost every situation, especially when paired with Volatile Bullets Bulldog for big targets.

All gunner nades except sticky are for friendly fire.
I've found them extremely useful for Dreadnoughts because throwing a leadburster under a frozen Dreadnought fucking demolishes them. Other than that, I find it very inconsistent and it can sometimes kill a large cave full of bugs on the walls and sometimes it maybe kills one in a tightly packed tunnel.
