why is the campaign so ass? it feels so limiting
does it get better later or what am i missing? i am only allowed to bring such a small amount of ships and they cost too much and take too long to make to make it fun and the level system makes losing even the smallest ship a bad feel
You can simply adjust those settings before starting the campaign brainlet
adjust the settings to cancel invasions
It's accurate to the lore.
use more light cruisers anon. sure they are not the biggest ships ever but they are still very good.
also try playing as necrons
>light cruisers
thats really boring though, i want big space boom booms
I always thought /vst/ would have more mature people dwelling, but it's incredible how childishly stupid postss are in here, in almost every topic of every game. That thread about people pretending to play strategy games was true all along.
Yes, the average strategy game "player" wants no challenge or actual strategy in their games. They want to be told by the game's narrator that they are a strategic genius while they turtle and mass end-game units.
You're playing an elaborate game of checkers, who do you think you're fooling
i paid for the whole screen, i am gonna use the whole screen
well either you can bring a large amount of small ships or small amount of large ships.
>i am only allowed to bring such a small amount of ships
There's settings for how many ships you can bring to battle and the cap also increases as you level up.
>take too long to make
Aren't they literally instantly built?
>the level system makes losing even the smallest ship a bad feel
Not sure how the level system is at fault here but I lost so many escort ships and shrugged it off, they're so cheap it's literally nbd
yeah they are instantly made, but the resources needed take multiple turns to get
heresy is like a tree
Frick those devs
I finished it some weeks ago
You just suck, m8
Too bad Tau doesn't have a campaign, it will be very funny to see them defeat Abaddon. A campaign with the Dark Eldal would also be hilarious
Would've liked a Tau campaign more than Necron. Still Chaos and Tyranids are cool enough.
Eldar campaign I thought would be an obvious dlc. It's fun in Imperial one how you can command Imperial Navy, Mechanicus and Marines. Especially since back then GW was also still pushing Ynnari. So I expected Ynnari campaign where you can command Corsairs, Craftworld and Deldar.
It's a shame they didn't make any more campaign DLCs after Chaos.
>even Deldar, beings who absolutely mastered biology, still suffer from male pattern baldness
bros...
don't worry, they're just masochists
I feel like they took inspiration from Total War's campaigns but didn't have the resources to flesh it out as much as it needed to be.
