Why isnt there more outrage about Nintendo shutting down the 3DS and Wii U eshop?
Piracy? They never had any games?
Idk I have never not emulated Nintendo but have never owned anything they made
not like it's hard to pirate ps3/vita games either

Sony's store has been around for like 15+ years. Nintendo's shit always shuts down around the 10 year mark, its just expected.
3ds is easy as shit to hack and the ps3 library is better
Announcing the closure of eShops for their previous systems is like an announcement for people to start buying their stuff for full price before it's gone. People will gobble that shit up good even knowing they may have to pay again on a different Nintendo system.
For whatever reason on Sonys consoles, no one will ever bother with purchasing anything on their digital storefront even with multiple games being accessible still via cross-buy or cross-platform.
I know it's gonna be ported onto the Switch. I'll buy it again.
I'll buy it digitally, so when the new Nintendo system comes out I can re-buy it for a 4th time on that system.
Seriously though, I think the people who hasn't moved on or isn't a casual has hacked their systems.
Nintendo never had a proper account system and I don't think they will or even need it. People(casuals and collectors) will still rebuy everything as long as it's on Nintendo. A lot of the excuse like the Switch is, "it's portable, take my money AGAIN."

I have a hacked 3DS and it extended my interest in the system by maybe an extra 2 weeks. It really is just full of trash, and extremely safe first party games

The problem with shutting down stores is taking away what you already bought. That's not happening any time soon.
After several months of maintenance they've even brought the DS/Wii stuff back online which shows their commitment to keeping you able to download what you own nearly 10 years after the bulk of online shit for the system has been fricked off for reasons beyond their control.
