>Mediocre story >Weak side characters >Making the true ending locked behind a bunch of sidequests and a gigantic level spike while the other endings are underwhelming
God I don't know why people started pretending Nocturne's dungeons are good they're all fricking awful, worse than all of the previous DRPG SMTs. SMTV actually trying something new instead of hallways everywhere like Nocturne/4 was great.
>SMTgays hype the series for decades >"it's totally better than that persona homosexualry" >its just persona without the dating sim/style/music
Remember when they were all disappointed that it was a swith exclusive despite and toaster being able to emulate it
It was annoying talking about the game here because of all the homosexuals talking about femboys and hopping onto the bandwagon when all of the previous MCs look similar because of the artstyle.
Beano only looks androgynous when there's a closeup of his face, and that's because the game modellers fricked up when Doi's actual art isn't like that. Other than that he's just a typical JRPG male protag.
For all the shit I give SMTV, I'll give it credit that Yakumo is actually the best neutral representative we've ever had. In most other games the neutral reps tend to be pretty fricking bland and inoffensive then we suddenly get Doom Raidou going rip and tear on both sides in spite of being a normal human dating our mother.
I wouldn't know. I bought the frickin game and you can't change the language to Japanese on the American version like literally every other fricking Switch game, so I never played it. Not playing some troony fanfic translation.
Soon it's his 1-year anniversary. Hopefully they announce a proper port

Turns out the whole draw a girl and call it a boy thing doesn't work
It only works when the game is good too

morons and contrarians complaining about lack of "dungeons" when SMTV's areas are so much better than anything from past games
for you
As disappointing as it was, I still had a more fun time than with Persona 5.

Is this meant to be a bad thing?
>style
Debatable, but I'll give you this
>music
Okay homosexual.
The story not starting until the last quarter didn't help

Most humans in SMT look similar but even Chiaki from Nocturne looked more masculine than Nahobino
Bino has more defined muscles than Demi-fiend does, stop with this delusion.

Because it wasn't your first SMT game.
Forgot this even existed. SMT had some pretty good masculine characters, that design completely turned me off.

Because the ones that made SMT good were fired or left the company
plus sega wanted the more global audience so waatered the dark themes down

Testing
I felt it was just OK, I did one route and then just shelved it. It wasn't bad, but it didn't do anything to stand out to me.
