It's not hard to write, if all you have to do is steal ideas from a book written 150 years ago. CDPR have been pulling this shit since Witcher 1. The series is basically the biggest collection of plagiarized characters.

Authors have “plagiarized” other stories and characters since forever and it doesn’t matter, especially for video games. I wish video games would plagiarize more from fiction so we can get actual well thought out stories and characters instead of everyone being a marvel character

Dude sacrificed his own blood brother just to a piece of foreign pussy. I got no sympathy for this butthole.

Seeing how Gaunter O' Dimm is the most powerful being Geralt encountered so far and is unkillable. Last thing Geralt wants is to piss off a nightmare demon who will drop a world of hurt revenge on his ass during retirement in his vineyard.

which is fine, but its unlike Geralt.

he always has a stick up his ass for shit like this, the most realistic thing for the character of Geralt to do is try and save that piece of shit.

        Anonymous

I think so too, Geralt would definitely want to save him and I personally think Olgierd deserved to be saved, but realistically why would Geralt risk his life from being absorbed by an actual devil, he didn’t know what he has up his sleeve

It's about saving another person's immortal soul and acknowledging that for all Olgerd's cunning, he was terribly tricked by O'Dimm.

Honestly, this addon had probably the best ending out of any CDPR games. Seeing Olgerd freed from the curse was cathartic and then the camera panned out to the familiar landscape of the south-eastern Velen, this is pure soul.
