Only because 89% of that 90% owns garbage like 1060s and whatever comes with a sub 1k shitty pre-built. The 4000s have sold worse than any GPU since 2005.
No. They've also made new PCB mods to cost manufacturers less but that won't drop prices either. The savings don't pass on to YOU just the profit to them.
>10% discount in price for same raster performance but 100w higher power consumption and completely inferior featureset
wow what a fricking deal. i miss the time when amd actually undercut nvidia. if im spending 1k+ on a gpu anyway, id rather pay the extra 100-200 bux to get a nvidia card.
MSI is the worst manufacturer around. Bought a card from them that kept overheating, they refused to accept it as a return and when I opened it only a quarter of the GPU had thermal paste on it
MSI and ASUS will jump through all the possible loopholes and fight you to death rather than honor their own warranties, still better than Zotac, galax and gigabyte who makes fire hazards
Meanwhile EVGA would have repaired the PCB or soldered the core die into a new one if it was fine but the PCB unsavagable
No because they have 90% marketshare. Radeon is a side hustle for AMD, they allocate their effort and resources to other things.
>they have 90% marketshare
jeez

That's because Nvidia isn't producing as much as GPUs for gaming like they used to.
Yeah, because they're not selling.
no
I bought one, it was the same price as the 3070ti so might as well went with the 40 line.
Don't care for 4K Gaming. 4K is a meme.
4K on a desktop monitor is a meme. 4K is for TV gaming.
>I bought one
which one 4070 Tie or 4080 ?
4070ti
No. They've also made new PCB mods to cost manufacturers less but that won't drop prices either. The savings don't pass on to YOU just the profit to them.
No. They make most of their profits on selling GPU for AI anyway.
>buy a 4070TI
>still get framedrops below 60 in RDR2
at least cyberpunk never drops below 120 I guess
>will nvidia cut prices
They'd rather go bankrupt than do that.
depends on how their stock holders react to their quarterly report. its a fact these cards havent sold a lot. jensen might get in hot water.
if you want a discount go AMD
new normal with nvidia having 90% marketshare
>if you want a discount go AMD
7900 cards are about the same price
>10% discount in price for same raster performance but 100w higher power consumption and completely inferior featureset

Love my 4090!

They make the only worthwhile laptops alongside lenovo tbh
