I will admit that X was the last one I loved, and I don't like 12 very much. The thing is man, at least it has ambition, thought and design behind it? I see it as a taste thing. It has a huge world, tons of content, actual dungeons, some semblance of the ATB system... I never finished it, because I didn't find the combat fun - but it's at least an FF game. I still wish we got a really evolved ATB system derived from X-2. Hopefully we can get that one day.

The footage recording was definitely botched. The game is obviously optimized for HDR but they didn't properly make sure the recorded footage would look bright enough, especially after Youtube compression.

Not buying because I don’t feel like getting a PS5. Final Fantasy used to mean something and was a system mover. Now, the brand is not worth much since FFX. And I even played Shadowbringers/Endwalker and thought they were okay, so one would think I’d be sucking Yoshi P’s cock. But everything I’ve seen from this game leaves me completely disinterested. Its not that I’m completely opposed to DMC combat since I love DMC5, but I just have different expectations from FF. To me, the FF brand was on a higher tier than DMC at least back in the day, so its weird to me that they’re copying from a series like DMC which is more niche
No. Watching Versus XIII become XV was kind of the last straw for me, personally. I think, in comparison, this game does have a few things on the surface that I like, but it just can't attract my interest. Somewhat turned off from how grimdark the promotional material keeps making it seem. In a world where the journo scum bashed JRPGS, I feel like a game that insists on its darker and adult nature is just another appeasement the Japanese are making to people who will never accept the genre and its legends for what they truly are.

They are just aping Game of Thrones aesthetic, but you never see GoT characters zip zooming around like DBZ characters for good reason.
