>open xbox app on windows for the very FIRST time
>lo and behold the "recently played" list comprises games that I played as far back as like 5 years ago

Is there morons out there who actually thought this?

They literally admit that they keylog you (send typing data), record your mic (send voice data), and track your web browsing history.

They enable OneDrtive by default and morons don't even know that all their personal files are being sent to Microsoft servers and scanned.

This is just what they admit of course. Even if you turn everything off, you can open a packet sniffer and see constant network connections 24/7 (Linux is silent when idle)

It's also obvious that there is backdoor for US intelligence agencies. Russia and China government/military don't use Windows at all, only Linux.

You know why? If they used Windows they might as well just give US intelligence open access to all their systems. Microsoft works closely with the NSA and does whatever they want.

The only good thing I have to say about this is that we have too many morons doing illegal shit so you can be safe even if you are an idiot for now.

OneDrive is enabled yes but they want you to sign up otherwise it won't even be used.

Yeah but why do they allow US government to spy on their citizens? Shouldn't they provide alternatives or support open source projects to weaken US intelligence agencies?

If Windows was really spying on you the feds would already have broken into your home over your collection of CP OP. Stop being fricking paranoid, MS isn't spying on you.

Likely based on your google spying infos. That or they take these infos from steam which is pretty gay and should be reported to valve.

        They are spying on you,

They keep a list of every .exe you run

If the filename matches a known game .exe then it gets recorded for Xbox app to know you better,.

There's 8 billion people in the planet, all hooked into the big world wide web. I don't care MS is "spying on me" since this "spying" is literally all automated algorithms processing my data and activity on the web to personalize my experience. everything on the web by this metric "spies" on you, including 4shit, which actually literally spies on you by providing data on users to interpol FBI etc so if you actually cared about this shit you wouldn't be yapping about it here. The reason I don't care is because I have nothing to hide. No actual human is actually gonna see what's in my computer, and even if they did - I don't care. I literally have nothing meaningful to hide. The vast majority of muh privacy freaks almost always have something to hide, and for that I'm happy for all the surveillance, people like you should ideally have a CCTV installed over their head, not just packets going to and fro.

No. You can use Firefox with all harmful things disabled, sanitize cookies/data on close, fingerprint resistance, and use uBlock Origin/uMatrix to by default block all javascript, cookies, and network traffic from the current domain.

You can also use VPNs/proxies to hide your IP address.

Sorry but privacy is not "futile" just because you're moronic and technically illiterate.

      You can use Linux.

You can simply not have big tech accounts.

You can either not have a phone or use a phone running only FOSS that you only use for calls/texts.

listen homie, i hate to break it to you, but if the government wants your IP, they'll have your IP. Even if you layer 60 proxies on top of eachother, you'll get tracked down.
        >and network traffic from the current domain
ahahaha, don't speak about things you're illiterate in you fricking monkey

I won't do all of that, I have nothing to hide. Trying to hide is inversely correlated to actually being secure, anyway. The more you try not to be seen is directly proportional to being noticed.

I meant to say "network traffic not from the current domain"

Like how Ganker makes connections to "bidgear.com" and google analytics.

Not everything is about you moron. You are giving too much power to wrong people. Which they are gonna use to blackmail important people and further their position to become a global hegemon. Plus, there is no guarantee that they won't pass China level totalitarian laws once every single electronic in your house becomes "smart" and tracks every little thing you do.

Do you think any human sees your data at some point in the process or is it all bots collecting data then selling it as part of a bundle to bots buying bundles of data that transfer it to bots that use an algorithm to parse the data and select ads distributed by other bots?
