Would you buy this if you had the money?

For me...it would be the lack of games that's a huge turn off.

that just makes it like every other PS console after 2

      Technically it has 1 homebrew.

it has 1 game? that's already more than PS5

    No.
    That would be incredibly stupid.
If I was going to throw away that much money on something like this I'd finance an indie game company to develop a new SNES game that takes full advantage of the MSU1.

Huh. You're on to something. Finance a company that could make new shells like in OP. Produce new SNES mods, etc.

no but I'd DIY a working PS1/SNES hybrid with in a 3D printed case if somebody did the hard work before me

      >no but I'd DIY a working PS1/SNES hybrid with in a 3D printed case if somebody did the hard work before me
agreed, that would be a pretty fun project assuming it didn't require much in the way of soldering

though considering the Nintendo PlayStation prototype uses a tray for disc loading instead of a top loader, I suspect one would need to use a Fat PS2 instead of a PS1 for the guts of the PlayStation portion(I mean I imagine one could get a tray disc drive working with a PS1 but it'd be a lot more work), though obviously this idea wouldn't be able to perfectly match the prototype anyways between probably needing to be a fair amount bigger to fit the guts of both systems in at once to also needing to be able to fit in all the ports both component systems would need(controller ports for both, all the AV and power ports for both, the cartridge port for the SNES, the disc drive and memory card ports for the PlayStation side), so it'd in truth be more of a "Nintendo PlayStation Prototype Inspired" design than a 1:1 recreation

So you'd do nothing and ask others to do moronic things for you. good luck with that champ.

I've got to admit I'm kinda impressed. I though OP had the most ridiculous moronic fantasy I'd see today, but you crazy kids have totally eclipsed his stupidity. Bravo.

Of course. Just imagine how much more it would be worth once I had it graded and entombed in plastic. Poorbabies couldn't even reee about how they're entitled to it because they would actually play the games because it has no games. I'd make a profit of well over 360,000 butthurts.

I could have infinite money and still not buy that. You could offer it to me for free and I'd still say no.

The only way I'm taking that is if you paid me to take it. And even then I'd give it away or sell it to some idiot afterwards.

Stuff has no value unless it adds something to your life. This does nothing but take up shelf space.
