>girlfriend said it’s amazing
>internet said it’s amazing
>lead singer of my band says it’s amazing
>Is actually the most slow and tedious game in existence (like a boss)
Fuck man, I’ve spent two weekends on this and I feel like chapter 3 has been half of that. 98% of the dialogue is just the characters repeating each other or describing what is actually actively happening on the screen. Most of the missions are tedious “SCAVENGE FOR SUPPLIES” type bullshit, and everytime the game starts to get good, it cuts it off and goes right back into tedium.
Is this the slowest burn known to man? I’m over 36 hours in and I have no idea what the amazing part is supposed to be. THERES NOTHING IN THIS GAME THAT NEEDED 35 HOURS OF EXPLANATION.
It’s fine if you don’t have a 100+ hour story, but the padding is fucking killing me dude.
>We’ve got systems dude!
>Systems!!!!!
And guess what it’s still easy as shit. I’m guessing these
>dude, systems!!
are never going to be stress tested. There hasn’t been a single challenging thing at all so far.
Fuck the consuls too. Did they go to Juliard? Why are they so dramatic and not intimidating in the least? What a great antagonist. Every time I see one I know it’s going to be an underhand throw of a boss.
World design? Why yes I do love open fields with nothing in them. Doesn’t everybody?
Is this game a prank?
says its amazing
>immediately types some fag shit
LARP
nice blogpost
didn't read tho
Thanks man
I'm playing Xenoblade 2 right now and it's absolutely terrible. What keeps me going are the "Counterattack" cutscenes at the end of each chapter. But the last one with Jin was so lame I'm not sure I can last another one.
2 is dogshit until the last stretch of the game where the Torna guys (the only characters with actual characterization other than Zeke) actually show up for more than five minutes
Honestly one some of Nomura's better designs
I didn't like Jin or Malos at all, they really are terrible one-note characters. 2 in total was just a miserable experience.
This was my entry into the series too, played to completion and hated it.
>I'm playing Xenoblade 2 right now
No you're not. Cope and seethe, Wokeblade 3 shill.
Why didn't Xenoblade 2 had bikini then, despite being infamous for sexualization? No one faps over one pieced swimsuit. Was Eunie's bikini for Blacking agenda?
Xenoblade 2
>starts slow
>gets great at the end of chapter 1
>immediately becomes horrible until the end of chapter 2 where its fine
>chapter 3 is alright once you reach the new area and is great at the end
>chapter 4 is a slog
>chapter 5 is too
>chapter 6 is better just cause zeke and the ending and area music
>chapter 7 its great, climax of the game
>chapter 8 is good
>chapter 9 is good too, game doesn't end poorly
Game could be paced better.
still better than anything on the snoystation
3 is okay but Future Redeemed has the best combat in the series.
FR combat is literally spamming double spinning edge on everything including superbosses
No cap bruh
That's 2 you're thinking of. 3 is giving Matthew Nopon strap and enjoying never ending arts. Only ever switched to Rex for his Break+Topple fusion art, then back to Matt for the Launch fusion.
Babies are just going to whine about being able to have fast combat.
Just relax, enjoy the music and explore the locations. The story is a mediocre regurgulation of Xenogears with added moeshit anyway.
You're getting cucked by your lead singer
That son of a bitch
It's ok, I can make you feel better
the fucking accessory system in this game is completely abysmal once you start amassing a decent amount. it's not that bad when you start out, but eventually it becomes a battle itself just looking through it
>Every time I see [a Consul] I know it’s going to be an underhand throw of a boss.
it's not even like they're actually challenging fights once you get a decent team set up, just a fucking slog because they have an ungodly amount of hp and not much else to back them up
I loved 3. It was a bit ridiculous at points and it was a slog in the middle but for the most part I thought it was an excellent game. Way better rewards for exploration than 2, too.
I think my only problem with it is the class system. You have to be constantly learning new jobs and never, ever settle for a comfortable class set-up or you're wasting CP. So you play the entire game without ever being happy with a party set up for very long at all.
Worst Xeno in years.
It was the only Xeno in years
Why don't you get to chapter 6 before evaluating.
The game is 7 chapters
Chapter 6 would lower his opinion of the game.
If I tried 2 and thought the combat was kinda weird is there any point to trying 3?
Try 1 first and then 3. 2 is the shittiest of the trinity and the combat is annoying to look at. Endgame devolves into QTE attack spam, it's not fun at all.
If you like 1, then 3's a direct evolution of that.
Read the post and tell me if you think I’d say yes to that question.
It’s better than two, most games are, but that doesn’t mean it’s worth trying.
>I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND
You dont, xenofag marketer
>Fell for the woman meme
NO ONE has ever said this digshit of a game is amazing. Far from it.
It's the opposite.
Not only the worst xeno game ever made but perhaps the worst jrpg ever made.
Theres not 1 single redeeming thing about this fuck up of a game.
Terrible story with terrible characters followed by the worst gameplay of all games put together
fuck off. Xenoblade 2 was way worse.
Has there been even one positive Xenoblade thread since 2019?
Plenty, they just don't have "Xenoblade" in the OP.
