I start levelling Fencer up with Noah and equipped the Lucky Seven super stance talent art and was having so much fun destroying everything with it. Then I maxed it out and switched to Swordfighter to level that. And then it started taking forever to charge Lucky Seven compared to Fencer. In Fencer it would charge in a snap. But now I'll be lucky to pull it out before a boss/um is dead. How in the Queen's unwashed garters am I suppose to make this fun again?
Melia isn't very good when compared to the builds you can do with the higher tier'd DPS. Zeon isn't good because block tanks are trash in this game.

Right. They introduce a debuff resistance debuff which should have been like a thing for bosses if they wanted resistance to be a thing... which it arguably shouldn't be because even if debuffs worked 100% of the time they wouldn't even be that broken.
BUT the fricking debuff resistance debuff doesn't even fricking work either....
Melia is good because while her straight DPS isn't as high as some others, her burst damage can be absolutely insane. I think its technically the highest in the game once you get the right stacks. Of course the downside is that while you are building up elements your damage is slightly below average in terms of other attackers, especially the seraph and incursor who can put out some pretty insane damage. I think the problem actually with both those classes is that often times the damage they put out is too insane, and they accrue a shit load of aggro very quickly, so you have to artificially cap your DPS to not get killed by some of the post game monsters.
Dodge tanks are always better than block tanks, but some enemies can have a ridiculously high accuracy and it can be hard to maintain aggro with some dodge tanks, especially if your attackers are putting out insane DPS. Its these situation where Zeon really can shine, as he just will never die and you can throw on his damage boosting gems for taking hits to help maintain aggro.
With all that being said, I don't think any class, except for Segiri's, is complete dogshit. Even Lanz and Juniper have some niche uses that can be very useful.

Litterlly all they have to do is make her debuff lowering skill a guarantee. I get the feeling they'll actually do that, because there's a lot of other questionable stuff in this game that needs to get patched, like percentage boosting skills and accessories only increasing base stats and not total stats.
XC2 suffered from a severe case of power creep because they added a frickload of blades with three aux core slots via DLC. XB3 is only confirmed to be adding two heroes, so I feel lt'd be a good idea to tweak the handfull of shitty ones already in the game to compensate.
Segiri's class just makes me wonder if her playtesting phase was just killing some trash mobs and calling it a day or if all playtesters were somehow extraordinarily lucky

Gems were simple. Aux Cores were also simple but the sorting options were garbage and likewise the sorting options of 3 are shit despite DE doing them right + having a filter option to be even more efficient

For whatever reason, Noah and Mio's life and death work vaguely outside of the system. Noah and Mio and should not exist while N and M are alive, and N and M shouldn't be alive at all because both Noah and Mio had their homecomings in a previous life. Its not really ever explained why these two in particular are special, but generally speaking your only way out of the cycle of Moebius once you are in it is either a homecoming or you become a consul. Its why Z took such a fascination with Noah to begin with.
Unlikely unless they want to make another X which will likely never happen given how much the team hated working on X, Xeno protags are the old kind of RPG character with a full personality and future already predefined.

it gives a stat boost if that character is their default class, it's really useful for swordmaster noah and ogre sena since those are both fantastic endgame classes
Ogre, Swordmaster, and Zephyr are all busted and worth using on their default characters in endgame. Lanz, Eunie, and Taion got shafted, but you can make them Signifier (broken), Soulhacker (Big Dick DPS), and Troubadoor to make up for it. This is probably the most optimal party set up in the game.
Eunie is the standout character this time around. She's like Veronica from Dragon Quest XI, whenever she's not in the room everyone is asking "where's Eunie".

The gem grind is fricking insane in this game. I used gold coins for the arte cancel one, and then spent hours grinding the critical damage one. It'll take like 30 hours at minimum of peak performance burst combo grinding to get the remaining 18 gems to rank X. Frick this, I quit.

Both are fashioned after the tech in their respective original worlds, the Ouroboros Stone gives the people of Aionios powers similar to those of a Core Crystal/Blade, while the Sword of the End is a sleeker, simplified version of Shulk's Monado REX.

I don't think that is correct- I think he thought about M, but he assumed that her feelings for him were the same as they always were, and he didn't really notice that he had become a radically different person in the meantime. This may be more implied, but part of what drove N basically insane is the idea that M never loved him or was somehow being deceived. When he is broken and defeated, Mio tells him that M meant every word when she said she wanted to be with him forever, and he basically consoled himself by stating that he wasn't wrong making them both Moebius and living forever. Its only when Mio rebuts that its because of how radically N has changed from Noah that M even considered leaving, and even then the only reason she died is because she hoped that her death would be enough to shake N from this cruel and vicious persona he adopted.
M deeply cared about N until the very end, but she hated that he was essentially drowning in his own sorrows and it was turning him into a monster, and she couldn't do anything to prevent it. In fact, her survival was just making it worse.
I would not call N's jealousy a bad thing necessarily, just that it blinded him from seeing how monstrous he had become and his general fear of being powerless and inadequate led to him blaming basically everyone but himself.
Don't think it works like that. This is the same Noah that canonically fathered a child with Mio, and pretty much everything implies they were crazy about each other, if their current incarnations are anything to go on. One horrible act is usually not enough to shake someone out of "being in love", but it can certainly be the start to some questions.
The point is that if M didn't love N at all, she wouldn't have planned her death in the way that she did, and she certainly wouldn't have reunited with him in the end to kill Z for good. After all, one of her last words in jail is her making peace with death, and saying her only wish is that she could have just a bit more time with "her Noah".
Why are the shops in this game so useless? The game keeps throwing good gear at you so there's nothing worth buying other than the 99 gold coin accessory, and even that can be obtained elsewhere.
You needed a ton of money in order to get the Bath Tub Blade in XC2, you also needed to buy shit from shops in order to get the ownership deed to get field buffs like movement speed and shit.

How is the gameplay of this game compared to 2? I only ever pay half attention to the story so I don’t care too much about that.
The combat is arguably better but also less fun in certain ways. Fixed a lot of issues while introducing some of its own new issues.
Outside of combat is MUCH better though.

Fencer should probably be in A and Camuravi should probably be in A as well but otherwise wouldn't really change anything.
I start levelling Fencer up with Noah and equipped the Lucky Seven super stance talent art and was having so much fun destroying everything with it. Then I maxed it out and switched to Swordfighter to level that. And then it started taking forever to charge Lucky Seven compared to Fencer. In Fencer it would charge in a snap. But now I'll be lucky to pull it out before a boss/um is dead. How in the Queen's unwashed garters am I suppose to make this fun again?

Melia isn't very good when compared to the builds you can do with the higher tier'd DPS. Zeon isn't good because block tanks are trash in this game.

Right. They introduce a debuff resistance debuff which should have been like a thing for bosses if they wanted resistance to be a thing... which it arguably shouldn't be because even if debuffs worked 100% of the time they wouldn't even be that broken.
BUT the fricking debuff resistance debuff doesn't even fricking work either....
Melia is good because while her straight DPS isn't as high as some others, her burst damage can be absolutely insane. I think its technically the highest in the game once you get the right stacks. Of course the downside is that while you are building up elements your damage is slightly below average in terms of other attackers, especially the seraph and incursor who can put out some pretty insane damage. I think the problem actually with both those classes is that often times the damage they put out is too insane, and they accrue a shit load of aggro very quickly, so you have to artificially cap your DPS to not get killed by some of the post game monsters.
Dodge tanks are always better than block tanks, but some enemies can have a ridiculously high accuracy and it can be hard to maintain aggro with some dodge tanks, especially if your attackers are putting out insane DPS. Its these situation where Zeon really can shine, as he just will never die and you can throw on his damage boosting gems for taking hits to help maintain aggro.
With all that being said, I don't think any class, except for Segiri's, is complete dogshit. Even Lanz and Juniper have some niche uses that can be very useful.

Litterlly all they have to do is make her debuff lowering skill a guarantee. I get the feeling they'll actually do that, because there's a lot of other questionable stuff in this game that needs to get patched, like percentage boosting skills and accessories only increasing base stats and not total stats.

XC2 suffered from a severe case of power creep because they added a frickload of blades with three aux core slots via DLC. XB3 is only confirmed to be adding two heroes, so I feel lt'd be a good idea to tweak the handfull of shitty ones already in the game to compensate.
Segiri's class just makes me wonder if her playtesting phase was just killing some trash mobs and calling it a day or if all playtesters were somehow extraordinarily lucky

Gems were simple. Aux Cores were also simple but the sorting options were garbage and likewise the sorting options of 3 are shit despite DE doing them right + having a filter option to be even more efficient

For whatever reason, Noah and Mio's life and death work vaguely outside of the system. Noah and Mio and should not exist while N and M are alive, and N and M shouldn't be alive at all because both Noah and Mio had their homecomings in a previous life. Its not really ever explained why these two in particular are special, but generally speaking your only way out of the cycle of Moebius once you are in it is either a homecoming or you become a consul. Its why Z took such a fascination with Noah to begin with.

I tested it on Eunie and the upgrade gave her like +70 attack, but only in her default class.
it gives a stat boost if that character is their default class, it's really useful for swordmaster noah and ogre sena since those are both fantastic endgame classes
Ogre, Swordmaster, and Zephyr are all busted and worth using on their default characters in endgame. Lanz, Eunie, and Taion got shafted, but you can make them Signifier (broken), Soulhacker (Big Dick DPS), and Troubadoor to make up for it. This is probably the most optimal party set up in the game.
Replace Swordmaster with Incursor and you've got your optimized party setup, even if Ogre is mostly there for its break resist down skill.

I don't think that is correct- I think he thought about M, but he assumed that her feelings for him were the same as they always were, and he didn't really notice that he had become a radically different person in the meantime. This may be more implied, but part of what drove N basically insane is the idea that M never loved him or was somehow being deceived. When he is broken and defeated, Mio tells him that M meant every word when she said she wanted to be with him forever, and he basically consoled himself by stating that he wasn't wrong making them both Moebius and living forever. Its only when Mio rebuts that its because of how radically N has changed from Noah that M even considered leaving, and even then the only reason she died is because she hoped that her death would be enough to shake N from this cruel and vicious persona he adopted.
M deeply cared about N until the very end, but she hated that he was essentially drowning in his own sorrows and it was turning him into a monster, and she couldn't do anything to prevent it. In fact, her survival was just making it worse.
I would not call N's jealousy a bad thing necessarily, just that it blinded him from seeing how monstrous he had become and his general fear of being powerless and inadequate led to him blaming basically everyone but himself.
M stopped loving him the second she learned what he did to bring her back, which is why she says they're gonna live eternally with such disdain.
Don't think it works like that. This is the same Noah that canonically fathered a child with Mio, and pretty much everything implies they were crazy about each other, if their current incarnations are anything to go on. One horrible act is usually not enough to shake someone out of "being in love", but it can certainly be the start to some questions.
The point is that if M didn't love N at all, she wouldn't have planned her death in the way that she did, and she certainly wouldn't have reunited with him in the end to kill Z for good. After all, one of her last words in jail is her making peace with death, and saying her only wish is that she could have just a bit more time with "her Noah".
