The lingo they made up for this game seems so out of place. 1, 2, and X didn't use them, why now? It's a cringier version of Cyberpunk's (choom, preem, etc)
IT's been a 1000 years at least. Times have progressed and new lingo has come about.
It makes sense given how much of their lives center around their flames of life and the flame clocks.
But it's interesting because old lingo like Titan's Foot seems to have been phased out.
I can't even remember if XB1 had any unique world slang
I would. Yeah, people don't even use terms like that. I'd be surprised if anyone even knew what the Bionis, Mechonis or Alrestian Titans even were. Like when people refer to the Urayan Mountains, I don't think most colonists even know the history, do they?
>install a bed in front of the pods >frick e-girl Ethel as hard as possible >choke her during climax >she dies >respawns >repeat previous steps again until nuts are empty
Holy FRICK I'd spawn camp that b***h every single day
That's never stated anywhere.(and can't be true because it cause Mobius' system to be far to "leaky")
She just has to not last 10 years and hit Homecoming
This is true, and is actually the reason why Erythia Sea is much more sparse in terms of colonies despite its gigantic size. Taion even mentions that battles are fairly rare at sea, since they carry such a heavy risk that the losing colony all just drown to death rather than be massacred by ether weapons.
so then why is Alexandria being a 6th termer such a big deal? Is she actually jailbait or is she physically over the age of 18?
I'm pretty sure its due to perceived status that comes with age. The only colony commanders who are younger than her are Fiona (her entire colony are no more than 3/4 termers, so not unusual), Segiri (same scenario, although for different reasons), and Valdi (who is her direct contrast since he is basically her foil in most ways, including not really caring at all about his age). The only other one who is debatably younger is Juniper, but their colony is so dead and she was personally selected by the prior commander, so its less weird. Its probably also a perceived weakness by Alex, since her past in how she became commander made her incredibly paranoid.

Killing with a Blade is only necessary to get the life force into a Flame Clock, it is not necessary to get them reincarnated.
I think its just a foreign accent thing that seems exotic and interesting. People have preferences in this area as well, so while any foreign accent could be "exotic", everyone has picks.
Welsh sounds nice because its still English sounding, but its less obnoxious than a lot of other Brit accents. I personally like Polish accents, since they have a bit of the Eastern Europe bite but are gentle enough that its not like listening to someone yell at you.
>Sena is stupid, irrelevant >Eunie is a trashy, shameless unladylike, worthless gaijin-esque prostitute >Mio is the proper and moral tradwife, the yamato nadeshiko
Japanese games always do this. Have you noticed? Propaganda for conserving traditional pro-nippon values.
Japs are just so particular about it. Goosestep in line PERFECTLY like a borderline fricking robot or else you're unperson'd. Do you understand? And do you understand how Ganker and Ganker etc. have had their worldviews shaped by Japs and their evil authoritarian culture? Not excusing the Western schizos for anything, but still. The slightest fricking quirk of behavior or appearance is viewed like a total crime to them.
>hire popular seyuu's like Rie Kugimiya and Aoi Yuki to voice characters >make them secondary characters >have these characters show up 30-60 hours into the game
what were they thinking
As soon as I got her, I never swapped out.
It just felt right to finally let Mio get her friend back and travel together.
They're adorable at campsites, I like that she plays the flute too, her animations are very cute, she has a kind of pouty face when she frowns.
Great girl
The people in these games move and react like moe anime characters, who themselves move and react in a way so divorced from reality that it's completely unrelatable. XB1 and X got it right, 2 and 3 went too far.
>X got it right
Could you at least pretend you played the game? Cutscenes in X are either characters not moving at all, or doing even more overly top anime shit like the cutscene of Nagi slaughtering the Prone.
>XC1 gay seething again. >Make shit up
XC1 is full of this fricking shit if not even worse, like pic related no fricking normal human being holds a fricking sword in that way that close to their face while practically crouching on the ground.

Got love the sheer degree of hypocrisy once the tables are turned. XC1 fans are so pathetic.
XC2 in game models weren't a good representation due to the development cycle constraints it had, but Blade Nia wasn't supposed to look like Driver Nia.
Driver Nia was actually the appearance of Nia's sister whose flesh she ate, while Blade Nia was her original appearance albeit with some similarities gained due to strong Blade resonance as seen with Lora and Haze.
This is a bit head canony in my side but I think as the years went by and Nia began to let go of her trauma over her "sister and father" she eventually reverted back to how she was originally was supposed to look like which is her XC3 look.
>Driver Nia was actually the appearance of Nia's sister whose flesh she ate, while Blade Nia was her original appearance
No, she was pretending to be human even before becoming a Flesh-Eater (NPC dialogue in Torigoth refers to the lord’s “two daughters”). There’s no way her “Blade Form” is her original one, not with those comically oversized ears.
Heck, even her haircut in that form is more like her sister’s than her Driver one.
And what the frick does that prove, other than that there’s no need for her to hold back anymore?
Just because it’s not her original form doesn’t mean that it’s not her strongest one. Really, you could call it her “true form,” because it’s the full expression of her status as a Flesh Eater.

Evidence for Driver Form being original: >Allows her to blend in with the Lord’s family, which would be impossible with Blade Form’s physiology >Blade Form more closely resembles sister’s haircut and mannerisms than Driver Form, using Driver Form to act like her sister would make no sense >When we see her start to “officially” take on the role of her sister, she’s in Blade Form: after her father dies and she drops the act, she’s returned to Driver Form >Blade Form grants access to special Flesh Eater abilities, in the same manner as Jin’s true form >Nia’s transformation into Blade Form is identical to the way Jin transforms, right down to the particles
Evidence for Blade Form being the original: >

The first 2 points completely counter your argument and serve as reasons why her Driver form isn't her real appearance, you bumbling moron.
Third point you've completely misinterpreted that scene, that flash back was the earliest point we see Nia at all, and we literally see her sister's dead body which is IDENTICAL to Driver Nia, the following cutscene is after she's become a Flesh Eater and now she looks like her sister.
Jin literally only changes his clothes which isn't the same thing, Nia has to change both her appearance and clothing and in case you forgot XC2 was rushed as hell so they didn't really have very many visual effects to begin with.
Frick off out of here with your misguided fan fiction.

>The first 2 points completely counter your argument
>Nia couldn’t have blended into human society in Blade Form >therefore she must have been in Blade Form while blending into human society even though naturally human-like blades are commonplace (Haze, Jin, Akhos, Patroka, etc.)
>Blade Form looks and acts much like her more graceful sister (part of the “act” was referring to her dad as “father” rather than “da”) than her Driver Form
>Therefore her Driver Form must have been the form she got when she became a Flesh Eater SPECIFICALLY TO CARRY ON HER SISTER’S LIFE IN SPIRIT
???
>we literally see her sister's dead body which is IDENTICAL to Driver Nia
Are you blind? Her model is literally a modified version of Nia’s Blade Form, just without the longer ears.
>Jin literally only changes his clothes which isn't the same thing
Did you miss the wings growing out of his ass? The ONLY two blades we see transform like this AT ALL are him and Nia. There’s no reason to assume that they operate on different rules.
The closest thing we see to this are Pyra and Mythra who are Aegisis with literal split personality disorder. Its definitely not a regular Blade ability, that’s for sure.
XC2 in game models weren't a good representation due to the development cycle constraints it had, but Blade Nia wasn't supposed to look like Driver Nia.

Cole/Minoth was a failed experiment, not a proper Flesh Eater, Jin didn't age at all after 500 years and there certainly wasn't that big of an age gap between XC2's end and the worlds merging.
Well Jin didn't age a single day in the 500 days between Torna and XC2 so not really.
I think most of the changes for her appearance are due to the new artstyle, particularly the eyes, which are much smaller in this game. And "older" characters tend to be portrayed with smaller eyes compared to younger ones.
It might just be the permanent downtrodden expression, but I do think he looks a bit older in 2 than in Torna.
Also he's got that recuperation pod he rests in that's supposedly offsetting his age
All that and specifically her breasts. In a world where flatties are a dime a dozen the large breasted girls who can be counted on one hand are the biggest prizes.
Riku tells you who he is if you do the sidequest to power up the characters' base weapons.
He's the apprentice of one of the 7 master smithypons who forged the 7 Origin metal blades.
The Reid family seems universally shit, is there a single one that's not shit? Like they have Shania and one of those main villains of Gray's ascension quest.
I'm so tired of you xenochinks and your stupid game. What the actual frick is that character design. Why do they have some gross vestigial wings growing out of their heads. What a shit game for morons.
That sounds so moronic. Why do you play this garbage. Play something that tests your skills against other players. There's nothing like dominating another person. It's like a drug.
You guys are never gonna make it stuck in your little single player islands. Take the multiplayer pill. Get good at something. You'll never go back. Sharpen your reflexes and quick thinking. Single player jrpgshit rots your brain. This ugly anime characters are one dimensional and boring. You can do better.

You can't do R3 dodges, slide rails or do that cool ass swimming animation. Also, there's no voice lines for fall damage or jumping. There's literally no glitches apart from the chain attack screen not featuring the hero
Why would you want to play as someone without master arts?
No crashes. I didn't get to test opening chests, so maybe one of you homosexuals can do it for me
Based. Was waiting for a non midwit such as myself to figure this out. Can this be replicated on Atmosphere, or just Yuzu?
how do
Alright, first all for the disappointing part: this is NOT a mod. I realized that when you save the game, the game also remembers which party member you were controlling at the time, so I hex edited my save file to make it so that it loads while controlling the hero. In other words, the moment you switch heroes (you can't even switch to other characters while controlling a hero), the trick is over and you have to do it again. At the very least, this shows that it's possible to play with heroes, so maybe there's hopes for a fully fledged mod in the future. Maybe.
Anyway, if you homosexuals know how to dump and restore switch save files and mess up with a Hex editor, then here's the steps: >use the hero that you want to play as >save the game while playing as Mio in save slot 1 (doesn't really matter) >dump the save files using something like JKSV if you're on real hardware. Emulatorchads might have a easier time doing this >if you saved on slot 1, then you'll need to open the bf3game02.sav in a hex editor. I'm using HxD. The 00 save file is the auto save, 01 the quick save while the 02-04 are the manual saves >search for offset 000006D0 and check the value in the 04 column. If you're playing as Mio then the value in that coordinate will be 01 since she's the second party member. Noah would be 00, Eunie 02 and so on. Change that value to 06 so that you can use the hero >save and inject the save file >take some good screenshots of Ethel's chest because there's nothing else to do
I can also upload my save file if you guys just want to test it out without resorting to any hex editing.
Nice. Thanks, anon. I figured it was a save edit, if not mod. Solid groundwork here. I'm sure an autist will work t into a full fledged mod somewhere down the line.
Nah, the value is only used to determine which one of the seven party members you're controlling at the time. This means that regardless of what hero you're using, the hero value would always be 06 since that's always the seventh party member slot.
The reigning monarchs of the three primary world powers (Mor Ardain, Uraya, and Tantal) aren't going to stand for just one of those families becoming ruler of the whole world.
They need an "impartial" entity, like what Indol was suppose to be, to mediate.
I guess Nia got pegged with the job because no one else fit the position.
Theory backed up by the three hooded figures standing to Nia's left during the Origin construction flashback, which would be representatives from the three nations
Niall didn't even want to be emperor, King of Tantal is too humble to think he can be king of everything, the b***hqueen of Uraya probably croaked or out voted.

Heavily mixed. There's some moronic extremes on either end of like or dislike with some more moderate middle ground.

I had been on a Ganker drought for around two weeks as this place generally has nothing to offer outside of bait, coom, culture war, and shitposting. I noticed the date was a little over a week before official release. Then I asked myself:
>Is the XCI or NSP out?
Noticed it was predictably leaked, and consequently avoided this shithole, knowing full well one of the Gankerirginal spastic fricks would be waiting with bated breath to put endgame spoilers in the OP. That thread encapsulates everything I suspected would happen.
That's why you don't cater to these people.
You can give them everything, they will still flip out entirely if there's ONE thing they don't like. There's no winning
I've yet to see this massive REEEEEra saltmine that Ganker keeps promising me exists that they have to keep fueling. It's always just that one screencapped post.

As much as people say that the Consuls are unrealistically campy in their derangement, one need only to look at reddit to see just how real it is.
I honestly think the Consuls get a bad rap. People rag on them for being one dimensional scumbags, but given the fact that they are all essentially hand picked by Z, who seems to have an affinity for choosing really shitty people to be very powerful, it makes sense.
Honestly the consuls remind a lot of the apostles from Berserk-
>Typically weak willed people who are preselected at an appointed time in which they are at their lowest and given absurd power >At least two of them are made consuls on condition of sacrificing a "part of them" in order to achieve their "true" desire. >The leader of the consuls is a legendary warrior who sacrifices his kin to achieve his dream. >Despite being largely monstrous and sociopathic, there are occasional exceptions to the rule. >They essentially are given no rules on how to live other than do whatever the frick you want (although with the caveat of don't frick up the world too much) >Their power is ultimately derived from a malevolent godlike entity who plays with lives just for the hell of it.
Sure they may not be "deep", but they don't really need to be.
Well if they aren't deep Anon, then they just become obstacles to be mowed down instead of serving the plot by challenging the characters in ways other than "I'm stronger than you and want to kill you."
I liked their concept and a couple of them but theres just too many and not enough really meaty villians. N is really the only one that sticks with you.
>Seven party members >Seven arts per character >Sword called Lucky Seven >Seven full Keves colonies (including colony 0) and Seven full Agnus colonies >7 chapters >7 city founders >7 types of origin shards >Segiri is designated as No. 7
This game really likes the number 7
This game really likes the number seven
so which one was your favorite? I was enjoying 3 way more than the other 2 but I think it peaked early. during the agnus castle scene to be specific, that was hands down the best sequence in the series. but after that it kinda lost steam and now after finishing it I think I kinda enjoyed 2 more mainly because of nia lol love that fricking cat
Despite late chapter 6 and chapter 7, it's still my favorite.
For me in a JRPG characters and dialogue/interactions are king, and 1 and 2 flopped on that part from my experience.
Also while all 3 have insanely good soundtracks, I resonate more with 3's for some reason. Erythia sea is something else.
The baby scene will probably never be topped
I think it's hard to say. 2 was weird because narratively, the big scenes in chapters 6 and 7 are obviously comparable to the big scene in 3's Chapter 5. But in 2, you're basically narratively railroaded through Morytha towards the World Tree so it feels very normal to keep going. Also the side content in 2 felt like you could more easily skip it (even with some blade quests) whereas in 3, I feel like it's been condensed into a fewer number of more substantial quests (especially if you want to max out the affinities).
So whereas in 2 you can easily just go straight through to the end after the big climax in Chapter 7 without feeling the need to do much side content, I feel like 3's pacing gets wonky due to how much new side content keeps opening up after chapter 5
yeah I didnt even touch that, the pacing was fricking awful for side quests. once I got to the quest just before you get to the agnus prision, I think I legit spent 40-50 hours just doing side quests because I'm an autistic min maxer, and that really took a toll on my enjoyment of the game. if at least the side quests were good, but nope, gotta find a fricking onsen for isurd for some reason
It's a hard problem to solve, I think. On the one hand, I think the main story is pretty good and on 2's level if you hard-line the main story after Chapter 5. But the narrative itself is giving you space to do other stuff but it takes away from any momentum the main story had.
I liked that each colony side quests were centered around them re-building and figuring out what life looks like outside of the dominion of the Castles and the flame clocks. But in terms of balancing them and the main story, I think the main story at the end didn't really have enough break points where the momentum calmed down on its own and let you go do side quests. I think a game's story should have main story quests be sort of self-contained to a degree such that you don't feel incredibly pressured to jump straight into the next one.
Typically I'll go do lots of side quest stuff whenever the main story in 3 put an explicit Blue Diamond side quest in as part of the main story. Those always felt like natural frick-around periods
The more I play 3, the more I'd rsther go back to playing 2 or 1. Gameplay wise, 3 is pretty tops, but other little aspects like the weaker cast, OST, and world make me feel like THIS is 2, and 2 should have been 3.
I agree, the way they implemented interlink was genious. its hard to believe they manage to keep improving the combat with each iteration. altho the fights got kinda boring later on on hard, Z took like 40 minutes or more and I was 78. the caps on his health bar were annoying as well, I was using a 500% damage slam strat for chain attacks but that did not work on him
I like 3 but chapters 6 and 7 are kind of a wet fart. The actual ending of the game is pretty good.
2 remains king. That game's final three chapters are an insane ride.
People keep desperately trying to push this Chapter 6 is bad meme that it's hard for me to treat it as anything but shitposting.
80% of the cutscenes that people overwhelmingly agree is the peak of the game is Chapter 6 not Chapter 5, people keep pretending that Mio's side story is this distractions that takes hours upon hours to get through when it's literally just a 10 minute section, and everything at the Cloud Keep + Nia was great.
The cutscenes could be part of chapter 5 or 6, it's all just one big extended break before you play again. 6 as a whole seemed to end way too quickly after all that.
I think it is still 1, it's just a very special game to me. I like the other Xenoblades, but those didn't marvel me as much as the original did.
3 is very close and my second favorite, though. The Eclipse scene and Noah's past lives segment blew my mind during my playthrough.
Agreed. Where 3 surpasses 1 is in world exploration. There are tons of hidden areas and containers to locate. The world design of 1 is amazing, but ultimately if you don't appreciate the scenery for what it is there's little reason to explore.
Musically I'll claim 1 is better. Much stronger emphasis on melody there. 3 is more atmospheric, which is emotionally strong, but the day after you've played the game none of the tunes are really stuck in your head.
I was also quite pleased to see that Noah and Mio blatantly mirrored Fei and Elly, in that they are continually reincarnated, only to lose each other tragically every time. That scene you mentioned was fantastic if you're a Xenogears fan.
Chapter 6 and 7 had the code geass season 2 effect of the story feeling like it’s spiraling out of control only to stick the landing at the last couple cutscenes. That farewell is probably my favourite xeno moment. And noah’s final monologue is such a powerful thematic cap to the story as well as the Klaus arc. I have to let it sink in a little more cause I just finished yesterday but I think it’ll end up being my favourite one. Doesn’t help that the gameplay and side content are far better than the first two games imo.
>they didn't spam their vocal songs like XC2 >only use the vocal song once each in 3
Makes it more impactful imo. Hearing Drifting Soul like 5 times just makes it obvious it's one of those scenes.
It doesn't show up in the Jin and Malos fight. That song is The Tomorrow With You
It Drifting Souls with full lyrics only plays during the end of Chapter 3 and the final boss fight interim cutscene.
There's an instrumental violin version that plays when Nia reveals her Blade self.
All in all, it only plays 3 times in XB2
It plays once at the end of Torna after you beat Malos
hmm interesting how everyone seems to agree the last 2 chapters were bad compared to the rest. I thought it was just me getting fatigued from doing so much side content before finishing it
The big reason for me is they stop having those great interparty conversations. Great Cotte Falls through Maktha Forest has so many talks between almost all the characters, and then chapter 6-7 has almost nothing. It also prevents them from reflecting on the crazy revelations they keep getting hit by, which dulls the impact themselves.
the moon scene was kino, that one really stuck with me. and also the great setpieces with the ouroboros going ham like during ethel x cammuravi and them fighting each other during M's fight. those amazing moments vanish from the game later on
I don't know if I'd say bad. It's just you start mainlining plot but you lose a lot of the party ensemble moments. And that in of itself isn't bad but they scrapped Heart to Hearts, so I don't even have the option of getting more
just that ch5 peaked a bit too hard in comparison. I still love the last 2 tho
I have a sinking feeling that Takahashi did watch/read 86, the pacing and theme is strangely familiar, down to the "climax early and spend the last 2 episiode to cool down and see the world before another climax"
>chapter 6 >walk through ice corridor for 10 minutes leading to Miyabi's colony >it's barely a shack and 3 guys defending it >get Miyabi and calamari >Mwamba who >noone cares >chapter 7 >fetch quest for same boat but...faster >cutscene >purple corridor of frick my eyes are burning this is so purple >2 hour fight against the biggest hp sponge in history >great final cutscene >credits
Doesn't take a genius.
I have no idea what the frick happened for them to greenlight this shit
>Joran comes back >great offseeing cutscene >cutscene of Lanz exploding at Noah >cutscene of Eunie comforting Lanz >Miyabi, Cammuravi and Mwamba come back >..... >Lol know anything about the queen?
Compare all of this to the final stretch of Xenoblade 2, where so much shit happens I don't even want to type it all out.
The thing is, they couldn't have done it differently the way everything was setup. The villains were too shit.
to be fair that's to be expected after chapter 5/6, which is probaby one of the biggest moments in the entire series, if not THE biggest
there was no way to follow up to that
I think most people were expecting a second, bigger lore dump after the Nia one at the start of Chapter 7 with some more reveals like in XB1 or XB2 but it never happened.
It doesn't help that people thought this game would have a really big connection to the previous games only to end up being the most disconnected save for some fanservice scenes.
N also feels underused after he got BTFO.
I still loved the ending scene with the worlds separating.
>I think most people were expecting a second, bigger lore dump after the Nia one at the start of Chapter 7 with some more reveals like in XB1 or XB2 but it never happened.
So morons throwing a tantrum over their head canons not coming to pass when the main narrative was always intended to be standalone? Let them seethe.
Well to be fair, the game's premise was so in-your-face about the connections to 1 and 2 that you can't help but wonder why everything is the way it is for the entire game. So it kinda sucks when those answers are vague or stupid.
Takahashi said from the get go that the story was standalone. morons to this day still try to insist that he lied about XC2 when he never actually did, he said that game can be played without having played 1 and stand on its own not that there were zero connections.
>This game is explictly about the worlds from 1 and 2 merging >What, you thought we'd actually TALK about those worlds? Frick you, they don't matter now >They could have been two entirely unrelated worlds to previously established lore >Just clap at the references you ungrateful sheep
Yeah, I guess Anon.
It ended up just being an excuse to save on budget by reusing 2/1DE assets, sadly. There's like, no new enemies in the game outside of levnises until the otters in chapter 4.
>This game is explictly about the worlds from 1 and 2 merging
Not once did they ever actually say this, morons just started fabricating their head canons just from seeing Uraya and the Mechonis Sword.
Every single trailer only ever talked about Flame Clocks, Ouroboros and Moebius, nothing else.
Oh frick off Takahashi even said in an interview that 3 was the end of 1 and 2's story.

Bull fricking shit lmfao they were in the trailers.
Anon, come the frick off it. Stop defending this. If it didn't matter, why bother using that imagery? Never once does anyone question the giant fricking sword or continent sized whale carcas dotting the landscape as if it's of no signifigance, but it's signifigant to the player.
2 didn't reference shit from 1 until the end, and nobody complained that the stories didn't connect.
They could have just made new imagery. They chose to merge worlds with stuff we knew about and then just never acknowledge it. That's like having been friends with someone in school and meeting them 10 years later but instead of acknowledging the fact that you know each other and catch up on what you've been doing since school, you just start a whole new friendship operating on the knowledge of the old friendship

I don't think you played the game moronbro.
No, she's the one powering up the computer that lets Nia get info of the world.
If you go back with her on your team she even says "Hey, I'm back!" to Poppi while your other characters wonder who she's talking to.
The tutorials in XC2 were downright misleading at times, that's how awful they were
Any game where important mechanics are hidden in a menu under another menu mentioned only as a blurb despite being objectively important to know is a bad tutorial
I completely understood the battle system perfectly just from what the game provided, and the few things it didn't mention such as over kills giving bonus EXP were dead obvious if you actually just paid attention to the fricking UI.
Afraid I have to diagnose you lot with moronation.
Nice strawman.
Thinking the tutorials were shit doesn't mean people didn't understand the game mechanics.
Take the Ouroboros reveal in 3's chapter one and compare it with the Pneuma reveal in 2.
3 just throws you into the fight with no explanations and gives you infinite Heat Gauge time to play around with the mechanics of the form. The game saves the (brief) tutorial for later.
If 3 had 2 style tutorials we would have gotten a long ass text stopping you from playing explaining everything that you just saw in the cutscene and then telling you to press buttons.
The Pneuma fight is scripted, you can't even lose, and they still had to shove in a moronic tutorial instead of leaving it for after the battle. It's so dumb, especially after such a good cutscene.
Sounds to me that you don't like reading and just skip everything, pretty much a you problem.

These games are like 50% reading.
XB2 simply has terribly designed tutorials.
3 has a bunch of shit tutorials though.
Remember being forced to equip an accessory at Colony 9's shop after already being forced to equip an accessory after being forced to open a treasure chest?
Remember all of chapter 2? Especially the part where class changing unlocks and you have to set EVERYONE'S master arts and skills? Remember how the Fusion Art tutorial doesnt tell you Fusion Arts are how you increase the Interlink level?
Those can be obnoxious, but still miles ahead of any of the tutorials in 2.
They really should have added an option to just completely disable the tutorials.

>They really should have added an option to just completely disable the tutorials.
There's literally a toggle for that in the menu.
What, did you need a tutorial for it or something?

What game are you talking about? I don't think you can disable them in 2, unless it's NG+. Made me check.
I guess I phrased that weirdly.

You didn't go back to look at the tips and tricks?
Any game where important mechanics are hidden in a menu under another menu mentioned only as a blurb despite being objectively important to know is a bad tutorial
I find it hard to hate him even if he is a turbo moron who constantly misunderstands the game themes and has to insert shit. He is just so earnest and honest that I'm willing to forgive all the other homosexualry he puts out. Plus, he is a leftover of the bygone era of LPs where the person actually loves the game they are playing and is actually really informative about everything revolving around it, which is something that basically doesn't exist anymore.
Nta, but I honestly would have preferred it to be more unrelated rather than less. I really liked both 1 and 2, but they are very wrapped up by the end, and they really don't need to bring most if not all the cast back. The point of the game is really about being able to move on and accept the future after all- it would have seemed a bit tone deaf if a game where this is the central message basically did nothing but wallow in the past.
What does this mean? >switch what character you attack with in a chain attack
You pick which character does an Art and let them do it, you never "switch" characters.
For the first chain attack against the Aspar I didn't know either. Did the training drill right after because I thought something was off and figured it out, those things are actually useful
she's made to appeal to westoids who simp for trashy prostitutes. Her dub personality is also not 100% reflective of her portrayal in JP, some of that stuff is there but they take her to 11.
So taking care of your body and having good genetics makes you a pornstar?
Would you go around calling any guy over 6 feet a pornstar too? That just sounds insanely braindead and extremely autistic.
What the frick relation does dick have to boobs? Wouldn't it have made more sense with this "logic" if the girl canonically had a tight pussy or something instead?
I dunno, I guess I need to get a lobotomy or something for this to make sense like it does for some of you.
Has Riku been on the failed journeys with previous Noahs? Why else would he give him Lucky Seven when he's still a kid. Riku also seems pretty unphazed by all the crazy shit that happens, probably because he's used to it.
I was just thinking how much more fun she'd have been if she were like a gal jk style bimbo who made Lanz seem as smart as Klaus. Like, a idiot who can't control her strength.
Instead it feels like she's just some little kid the party is dragging along, not much more relavant than Manana. She's still clearly not smart, but it's played off in this cutesy innocent kid sort of way, and barely at that. Her lines all just feel like filler inserted between other characters expositing the story and coherant thoughts.
The whole mirroring Shania angle could have worked, had it been introduced earlier. And done better.
I legitimately do not understand how people do not like Noah
Sure he's a bit subdued and mellow but he's the only protagonist who have said "I'm going to do x" and then he actually does it, all while exploring his flaws and personal worldview
Shulk was subdued, but when things got heated, so did he. Normally he's quiet, thoughtful and reserved, but then the fight starts and he's rising to that energy. It works and you can tell when he's feeling passionate about something.
Noah yells once at the start of the game to the party when Guernica is convincing them there's more to life, then has this overly measured delivery on EVERYTHING until the O/P Moebius fight where he finally shows some emotion again. Then it's gone until the end of Ch.5.
there's this subplot where Noah is too much of a goodie-two shoes, but it's not clear if he's doing it for others or just for himself. he basically enforced his own will of wanting to change the world to the whole party since they themselves aren't motivated to actually do anything because they're still at each other's throats, he's visibly excited and giddy about being Ouroboros. there were a couple of times where he gets the party to do random shit that has nothing to do with them and he gets called out for it, especially because they were pressured for time. eventually it all culminates to N showing him he's really just doing it for himself, which gets him to reassess his own character.
it's not a matter of showing emotion, it's about exploring it.
I liked Noah.
He very clearly doesn't like fighting but it is believable that he is good with the sword because you see him autistically practicing all the time.
considering 3 is the best game Monolith ever made, your only hope is that saitom and whoever was in charge of the character writing change studios
but who am I kidding, nobody except Monolith even bothers making full fledged JRPGs anymore, so this is the best we're going to get
>Just got to sea after recruiting Riki in 1 replay >Tell myself I'll rebuilt Colony 6 this time. >Aqua Nebula's needed for Special 1 won't spawn after 30 minutes of time jumping and several rainstorms, only get the yellow one. >Wiki says building materials don't get added to the challenge shop until the point of no return.
Guess I'll grind it up a bit at the end of the game.
I'm glad that they steadily made sidequests less autistic over the games.
The only other blade game that comes close to this level of autistic sidequests is X
I dropped X when it told me I had to grind up Lao's affinity to max before I could proceed with the plot when I already did everything to do up to that point so all I could do was kill mobs. May watch movie cut at some point.
not defending it, Lao wasn't the only one required in the main story btw. But X also actively encouraged you to go out and explore and do a bunch of shit between missions and actively rewarded you for it.
Which is more than can be said for 3, which actively punishes you by making you overleveled
I just played it for the first time before 3 came out. It's good but the gameplay can get pretty stale. Also notoriously shits the bed HARD in the second half.
Played it when it came out back in... 97, I guess? I give it a whirl every five years or so. Great game. And be certain to read each line of dialogue CAREFULLY. It's a rich story and some of the more subtle points are easy to miss.
>Anyone else playing Xenogears since people can't shut up about 3 ripping it off?
Yeah, a bud of mine has been telling me to play for the past 15 years.
Yeah
I can't be the only one that laughed at Joran's death flashback right? It was so moronic. It was funny because the game was just starting to win me over with those wholesome conversations between Taion and Eunie and Lanz, and then it pulls that shit with surprise villain Joran to remind me that the villains fricking suck so much ass.
Joran is actually one of the better villains honestly. Although the first time you meet him it feels like an asspull out of nowhere and he does a terrible job of seeming even slightly sympathetic.
Joran, Shania, and Crys, all present the party with the exact same dilemma.
The writing broke the concept into three different characters and all three of them end up weaker because of it.
I thought there was enough nuance between Joran and Shania that it was fine, but Crys definitely felt excessive.
>Joran is basically what happens when the enemy includes former friends. >Shania is basically what happens when the problems at home directly cause problems abroad. >Crys is ???

This wtf. I was playing on hard and 5 levels below the final boss and he was still a joke. How do you even die on him? He has like 10 second delay between all his attacks.
He really isn't much of a threat until the final phase, and you can still get very much party wiped if you get lazy. I was 2 levels lower than his final form and he just happened to spam three attacks in a row that killed my healers first, my attackers, and then my tanks didn't last much longer. He isn't really hard if you take it seriously, but he can still surprise you.
I actually didn't mean the dilemma of having to fight a former ally.
I meant the dilemma that the party's position is basically "might makes right" and they get to decide the look of the world itself because they're strong.
I liked the payoff during the third (technically fourth?) encounter.
Fatty just wanted to be an artist in a world where if you aren't fit for war, you're fricking useless. I like how all his incarnations just kept on dying and dying during his first terms.
I thought I was the only one thinking this lmao
When she started talking trash in the prison scene, I was like "JP artists, do your thing. b***h needs correction."
There's only 2 lewds now though
Nope, some spoilers for contest. 1/2 take place at the same time in connected dimensions and 3 is about them coming together afterwards but new characters so shit gets explained.
No, you can go straight into 3 if you want, you can understand the story no problem.
But play the others if you can, preferably in release order. All the Xenoblades are fun.
6 and 7 have so much filler it's fricking insane. I swear that the way they wrote the story meant they had nothing interesting left to write about in the last two chapters. The villains were so fricking bad they don't even get a cutscene for their deaths.
>Cloudkeep is hidden inside Angus Castle >After walking up Nia entire Angus force raid Kevis Castle to free Melia. >Raid Origin right after Melia bring the votex defend down.
If you have nothing interesting left just go for ending after chapter 5
>We walked 20 feet, looks like it’s time to camp again so we can have another cutscene that doesn’t really push the plot forward
Please, I’m begging you to stop it
The worst part was that I thought I was supposed to lose because I saw the loading symbol.

This wtf. I was playing on hard and 5 levels below the final boss and he was still a joke. How do you even die on him? He has like 10 second delay between all his attacks.
Some people's gameplan for bosses is to play as attacker, push out big damage number, take aggro and die, and then hope AI is capable of reviving them.
Actually, I'm playing as the cast original classes. I thought it would cool to end the story like that way. I only upgraded Noah and Mio weapon instead of everyone because I'm too lazy to search the world for all Origin shards.
>50 minutes
What difficulty? And if Hard, what loadout? From the time I entered the theater to the end credits, over two hours had elapsed. This shit was on record for one of the longest final bosses in my fricking life.
It was just a random number really. I kind of zoned out during the final boss, all the phases looked the same past the first one.
I only really had an 'OH SHIT' moment when the heroes jumped in with you and then Nia/Melia helped out.
My two healers were ezmode sig/Troub
DPS was Sena on Ogre, Noah on Incursor, and Riku/Manana (purely for story reason)
Tanks were Taion Guardian Commander/Mio Lone Exile
Guardian Commander is kind of shit at holding aggro but also never dies, so giving them memory locket means they'll always survive to pick up healers and you can basically never lose.
Put the +Revive Speed/+Revive Health on all of your revivers, even the tank with memory locket.
Procceed to become INVINCIBLE.
Ah, I see. I was only really asking to see what could have potentially cut down the slog. It was not as difficulty as it was mentally exhausting. Though me playing safe with 2 DPS, 1 Defender, and 4 healers likely played a strong role in that.
>4 healers
Christ my friend. Well you won and that's all that matters.

I wasn't risking losing. I was originally rolling with 3. Then Y killed me at the last quarter of a second before I erased the barely visible chunk of HP he had on screen. Got assblasted and went into YOU CANNOT KILL ME mode with a 4th healer to ensure it didn't happen again. Which worked out in my favor, because I would've rage quit against Z if I lost on that last phase after two hours.
This wtf. I was playing on hard and 5 levels below the final boss and he was still a joke. How do you even die on him? He has like 10 second delay between all his attacks.

That's tradition. The shitty part is his first phase being a complete waste of time. He dies in less than a minute after you get interlinking and chain attacks back but it takes like 10 minutes of unskippable cutscenes to get there.
>Fighting the Queen of Keves >Keep toppling and launching her repeatedly so she can’t put up her stupid shield and end the fight
I flipped that b***h for like 5 minutes straight
It's okay. Story wise it's worse than 2 for me, but the sidequests might just make it on par with 2.
My personal rankings are
2 > 3 > 1 = X
I think all are amazing games.
>persist in this broken world where you and your friends are still doomed to die when you hit 20 >destroy the world and possibly never see your friends from the other world again to be able to live a full life free from endless fighting
The more I think about it, the more I feel that 3's cast got screwed hard.
>everything we ever did >the tater farming, the mech' building, the colony's renovatin' >all will be lost in time against the raging annihilation events, or just the people doing it dying out
shits plain doomed from the start, and gave me quite the bittersweet feeling during all the side quests. Here hoping their actual life in the actual worlds ended up better. The ending would hit way better if they gave us a small montage of Zeon farming his spuds happily with Juniper and a spaghetti dropping Kite nearby >inb4 the dlc is just a walking trip down all the lands, meeting old heroes-now-civi having their good life
>inb4 the dlc is just a walking trip down all the lands, meeting old heroes-now-civi having their good life
considering how much takahashi is shilling this game's expansion, and how it is going to be the conclusion for the trilogy, I can see it being pure fanservice, showing how everyone from all 3 games is doing
you know
I wouldn't mind if they actually explore what the frick happens when Z came to be and hijacked the whole thing. Like, how did people originally spawn in Aionios? Did the war just start right off the bat, or did Z have to get the hang of it first? How did Melia get captured even? What gave Nia the idea to make Ouroboros stones because obviously she couldn't have came up with that herself?

>obviously she couldn't have came up with that herself
>Rex and Shulk are confirmed to participate in the 1st Moebius War, just not the exact founders of the city themselves >the missing 7th founder and how Riku got his hand on the lucky Seven
a prequel sounds very likely with how they have been teasing it hard, but still i would prefer an epilogue with the same older Rex and Shulk and Noah going on an adventure >every cover arts so far have been during the day, even Torna >except this DLC, its at nightfall, aka the end of the 3 swords

Man it's kind of sad that Rex/Shulk and the combined casts of Xenoblade 1 and 2 didn't just wipe the fricking floor with Z.

that would annihilate the point of the game if the previous generation that spawned Z stepped in to solve the problem.
>casts Doom on the enemy
Noah I don't think you're just gonna knock them out doing that.
Well, the entire concept of "using the blunt side of a sword to incapacitate enemies" is flawed from the getgo.
Nah, they consistently show malos had a
Lot of loyalty and genuine friendship for the torna crew. You don’t need to know what he said to know he was being a bro because he knew he’d never see him again. Reminds me a lot of my buddies in the military, especially how he reacts to their deaths
It wasnt a dropped plot point, there was a patch that removed the line "DONT FORGET ME" from the game. It is removed from the ardanian seargent attack line, but the line is also missing in the lora death flashback, from malos whispering to jin, and from pyra/mythra in the postcredits scene.
The point of them never calling Lucky Seven by the name Noah gave it is to establish that Noah isn't good at naming things.
Which is just to have the punchline in the scene where N and M have a kid and N says M should name the kid because he's not good at naming things, while glancing down at his sword
Are there any must-use strats for hard mode that you wouldn't think of playing on Normal? Like switching the party config to have 3 healers and 1 tank instead of 2/2/2 for example.
What are you supposed to do if you don't want to play as a healer or tank but any difficult boss fight tunnels you into playing them since the AI is dogshit?
>Start chain attack on final boss >His health stops going down at 50% >Millions of damage completely invalidated because he hadn't shifted phases yet
Cool
Honestly I’d rank 2 and 3 on par with each other. Both are better than the other in certain ways (3 absolutely dunks on 2 in terms of gameplay and sidequests) but I feel like 2 had higher highs in terms of story. As for characters I’d say 3 slightly edges out the win if only because 2’s cast took a while to grow on me.
only realized she was supposed yawning after assuming >she was supposed to be an old woman who threw out her back and was screaming in pain >she was fricked too hard and threw out her back and was screaming in pain

Nia had the highest status. Rex was prince consort, pyra and mythra were their concubines.
Bruh, Pyra's front and center in the photograph. I like the cat too, but pretending she'll ever be at that level is foolish.
If Rex didn't look like shit and didn't have a shit VA I might've put the game on par with 3 or 1 but he feels like a downgrade from Shulk while Noah is dimensionally better in design, VA and character.
I like to imagine based on Mythra's embarrassed face that they had a discussion about if they should all have children at the same time, and Pyra / Nia were all for it outvoting Mythra
>he takes his eye out >a couple hours later find the Founders' statue that says the big guy lost an eye >the statue is the Rex lookalike
they're not even being subtle
Meh, I just prefer traditional romance personally.
I felt that Nia pushing him to go be with the other girl at the end of 2 was a great little character moment they never had the decency to give Melia, and feels kinda lame to just walk it back. Anyone complaining about how it's bad because it's toxic is obviously a moronic ideologue, though.
I find it weird that everyone else in the picture seems completely ok with this scenario.
Like Morag and Bridget had NO REACTION at all to finding out that Rex impregnated them all AT THE SAME TIME?
>I like to imagine based on Mythra's embarrassed face that they had a discussion about if they should all have children at the same time, and Pyra / Nia were all for it outvoting Mythra
I think she's camera shy.
Kinda feels like people forget that Pyra/Mythra and Nia actually had a good relationship.
There's a reason one of the two NG+ title screens was Nia pushing Rex away to hold Pyra and Mythra's hands herself.

The lingo they made up for this game seems so out of place. 1, 2, and X didn't use them, why now? It's a cringier version of Cyberpunk's (choom, preem, etc)
Their lives revolved around flame clocks so their swear words relate to fire.
IIRC XC1 had shit like "oh my god" replaced with "oh my bionis", if you count that.
I would. Yeah, people don't even use terms like that. I'd be surprised if anyone even knew what the Bionis, Mechonis or Alrestian Titans even were. Like when people refer to the Urayan Mountains, I don't think most colonists even know the history, do they?
That's what they're labeled on the maps supplied by the consul

That's never stated anywhere.(and can't be true because it cause Mobius' system to be far to "leaky")
She just has to not last 10 years and hit Homecoming
This is true, and is actually the reason why Erythia Sea is much more sparse in terms of colonies despite its gigantic size. Taion even mentions that battles are fairly rare at sea, since they carry such a heavy risk that the losing colony all just drown to death rather than be massacred by ether weapons.
You had me at Welsh. I remember a girl I knew was jealous because she didn't know why guys liked Welsh accents
What's the appeal of the accent?
Cute
I think its just a foreign accent thing that seems exotic and interesting. People have preferences in this area as well, so while any foreign accent could be "exotic", everyone has picks.
Welsh sounds nice because its still English sounding, but its less obnoxious than a lot of other Brit accents. I personally like Polish accents, since they have a bit of the Eastern Europe bite but are gentle enough that its not like listening to someone yell at you.

We've had welsh, Londoner, yorkshire, scottish and fricking Australian but no Irish?
why does her expression always look so unhinged
dumb cat
Cute cat.
>le cute!
It's so forced and overdone and it's the reason I hate modern anime.
Trying a bit too hard, anon. Get some new material and come back.
Oh yeah homosexual? How many times have you crouched down while holding a sword? Or hell, how often is a fat piece of shit like you able to crouch at all? That's what I thought.
>There's no such thing as live action films like Lord of the Rings
moronic XC1 seether.
>you can only move like the actors did in LotR
And here I thought I would be seen as the narrow-minded one.
Got love the sheer degree of hypocrisy once the tables are turned. XC1 fans are so pathetic.
the Monado is a dogshit weapon anyways, half the blade is essentially unusable
do Blades age? why does she look so much better here
She’s part human
>There’s no way her “Blade Form” is her original one, not with those comically oversized ears.
Are you moronic? She has the same ears in XC3.
And what the frick does that prove, other than that there’s no need for her to hold back anymore?
Just because it’s not her original form doesn’t mean that it’s not her strongest one. Really, you could call it her “true form,” because it’s the full expression of her status as a Flesh Eater.
Yeah this reeks of head canon poisoning, no sense trying to reason or list facts for this one.
Evidence for Driver Form being original:
>Allows her to blend in with the Lord’s family, which would be impossible with Blade Form’s physiology
>Blade Form more closely resembles sister’s haircut and mannerisms than Driver Form, using Driver Form to act like her sister would make no sense
>When we see her start to “officially” take on the role of her sister, she’s in Blade Form: after her father dies and she drops the act, she’s returned to Driver Form
>Blade Form grants access to special Flesh Eater abilities, in the same manner as Jin’s true form
>Nia’s transformation into Blade Form is identical to the way Jin transforms, right down to the particles
Evidence for Blade Form being the original:
>
You’re a fricking moron anon I’m sorry
>Nia couldn’t have blended into human society in Blade Form
>therefore she must have been in Blade Form while blending into human society even though naturally human-like blades are commonplace (Haze, Jin, Akhos, Patroka, etc.)
Also Flash Eaters just age.
look at theater guy
Also he's got that recuperation pod he rests in that's supposedly offsetting his age
only like this in the troonylocalization
stick to original Japanese
It's been 24 threads now, put a bullet in yourself already weeb.
it's my first thread schizoid

All that and specifically her breasts. In a world where flatties are a dime a dozen the large breasted girls who can be counted on one hand are the biggest prizes.
I just beat it
big internet rumor is riku is alvis
Alvis having any involvement with the plot would completely invalidate XC1's ending.
Why?
What do you mean why? Shulk literally told him to frick off
Riku's just a funny nopon though??
Riku tells you who he is if you do the sidequest to power up the characters' base weapons.
He's the apprentice of one of the 7 master smithypons who forged the 7 Origin metal blades.
How's he know Melia then
Was his hammer really just sitting in that corner the whole game?
does that make him immortal? its weird he seems close with melia
Why must Melia continue to suffer
Wonder if she can still hear the screaming of half her race getting turned into Telethia
They literally are vestigal, play the games or shut up moron
They're only vestigial in the half breeds. Full blooded High Entia have head wings big enough to fly with.
That sounds so moronic. Why do you play this garbage. Play something that tests your skills against other players. There's nothing like dominating another person. It's like a drug.
>shitposter is a mpgay
Should've figured. Go back to /vm/ and stay there, moron.
You guys are never gonna make it stuck in your little single player islands. Take the multiplayer pill. Get good at something. You'll never go back. Sharpen your reflexes and quick thinking. Single player jrpgshit rots your brain. This ugly anime characters are one dimensional and boring. You can do better.
>guy who spends 18 hours a day playing the same game for years against random strangers he'll never meet telling others how to improve their lives
L to the fricking OL
Cry about it homosexual
you're so mad bro
Asuka Langley knockoff, minus the part about being a clone.
>Asuka knockoff
Out of all the shitposts, this is the most nonsensical. she's not even tsundere.
reminder that english dubtards dont belong here. if you want to talk about the non canon english dub, you can do that on reddit
I literally just finished the game after 120h. went completely black out as soon as I saw the rex picture on Ganker
what did people think of it? seeing so many black people at the end was weird but I guess tahts me being racist lmao
I don't understand why they half assed Riku being Citan. I feel like him and Manana could've done a lot more if they just flew with it than just saving it for the Hammer Wielding Nopon quest.
Those are literally all qualities I look for in a woman.
So, has anyone figured out how to play as heroes yet? Because I did https://streamable.com/zosro7
any glitches?
You wot
Why would you want to play as someone without master arts?
Here's another one with best breasts. Frick the webm size limit by the way https://streamable.com/73vu81
You can't do R3 dodges, slide rails or do that cool ass swimming animation. Also, there's no voice lines for fall damage or jumping. There's literally no glitches apart from the chain attack screen not featuring the hero
>not wanting to play the real hard mode
ngmi
how do
no crashing in the menus?
can they open chests?
No crashes. I didn't get to test opening chests, so maybe one of you homosexuals can do it for me
Alright, first all for the disappointing part: this is NOT a mod. Maybe.
Anyway, if you homosexuals know how to dump and restore switch save files and mess up with a Hex editor, then here's the steps:
>use the hero that you want to play as
>save the game while playing as Mio in save slot 1 (doesn't really matter)
>dump the save files using something like JKSV if you're on real hardware. Emulatorchads might have a easier time doing this
>if you saved on slot 1, then you'll need to open the bf3game02.sav in a hex editor. I'm using HxD. The 00 save file is the auto save, 01 the quick save while the 02-04 are the manual saves
>search for offset 000006D0 and check the value in the 04 column. If you're playing as Mio then the value in that coordinate will be 01 since she's the second party member. Noah would be 00, Eunie 02 and so on. Change that value to 06 so that you can use the hero
>save and inject the save file
>take some good screenshots of Ethel's chest because there's nothing else to do
I can also upload my save file if you guys just want to test it out without resorting to any hex editing.
Nice. Thanks, anon. I figured it was a save edit, if not mod. Solid groundwork here. I'm sure an autist will work t into a full fledged mod somewhere down the line.
can you change digits to other characters?
seems like joran and that ice e-girl girl are cut characters
Nah, the value is only used to determine which one of the seven party members you're controlling at the time. This means that regardless of what hero you're using, the hero value would always be 06 since that's always the seventh party member slot.
>dub
Ew. Just don't include the audio next time.
Based. Was waiting for a non midwit such as myself to figure this out. Can this be replicated on Atmosphere, or just Yuzu?
I loved when Nia stopped pretending to act royal.
Good god her hips are wide. She actually fills out her potato sack now
Tis what happens when a woman gives birth.
Is the DLC gonna ever explain how she became a queen in the first place?
No it's gonna be something about the swords the three protagonists use.
She was one of Rex's wives.
Rex means King in Mexican.
That made her a Queen
Que?
Rey means king, chupacabra dick
>Rex means King in Mexican
That's king in latin you moron.
Where’s the minge???
covering my face
I like how her outfit looks a lot like Mythra's now
>Auto-attacker Martial artist
I don't know if this is actually a terrible way to play this class, but I also don't really care because this shit is hilarious.
that's what i've been doing since spending my gold coins for the X rank gem
Xenoblade 3's translation is the worst yet.
Out of Xenoblade or out of all Nintendo games? Because I'm not sure I agree on either.
Stop feeding (You)s to the same gayging weeb.
how did japan get away with explicitly showing a guy breeding 3 different women
what was the reaction to that picture when people first saw it? I went in completely blind
Im pretty sure I gasped out loud, I saw the picture of older Rex but not the 3 kids, shit was insane.
>what was the reaction to that picture when people first saw it?
Heavily mixed. There's some moronic extremes on either end of like or dislike with some more moderate middle ground.
I want to see the archived thread where that pic was first posted.
https://arch.b4k.co/v/thread/606818667/
that was the one I saw. stopped browsing Ganker and youtube that instant
>that was the one I saw. stopped browsing Ganker and youtube that instant
Most of the internet kneeled to his alphaness, while Resetera's 41% skyrocketed as expected.
god damn I wish I was there. but I wasnt risking getting another spoiler
>resetera calls the game amazing for having more tame designs
>picture comes out
>resetera suddenly does a total 180 spergout
That's why you don't cater to these people.
You can give them everything, they will still flip out entirely if there's ONE thing they don't like. There's no winning
I've yet to see this massive REEEEEra saltmine that Ganker keeps promising me exists that they have to keep fueling. It's always just that one screencapped post.
Because there is no massive spergout. You have to be moronic to think an anime game would move enough units to generate that kind of autism.
>muh tame designs
Xenoblade 3 just has a different theme from 2. The world is a war ridden place so of course most characters would be dressed in military gear. And pretending that characters like Eunie, Monica or M aren't sexy as frick is just disingenuous
I noticed M shaking her ass the very first scene she shows up in in chapter 4. Gahddam
>Melia's Hero theme
Can a mod please just ban this weeb already? It's been 2 weeks in every thread already.
Yknow you're in for a good time when you see this icon above this character.
Nico - and that's me - is disgusted you creepy pedophile
why is she so autistic
Do they think Juniper is a troony?
>using junebug as a term of endearment for juniper
As much as people say that the Consuls are unrealistically campy in their derangement, one need only to look at reddit to see just how real it is.
I honestly think the Consuls get a bad rap. People rag on them for being one dimensional scumbags, but given the fact that they are all essentially hand picked by Z, who seems to have an affinity for choosing really shitty people to be very powerful, it makes sense.
Honestly the consuls remind a lot of the apostles from Berserk-
>Typically weak willed people who are preselected at an appointed time in which they are at their lowest and given absurd power
>At least two of them are made consuls on condition of sacrificing a "part of them" in order to achieve their "true" desire.
>The leader of the consuls is a legendary warrior who sacrifices his kin to achieve his dream.
>Despite being largely monstrous and sociopathic, there are occasional exceptions to the rule.
>They essentially are given no rules on how to live other than do whatever the frick you want (although with the caveat of don't frick up the world too much)
>Their power is ultimately derived from a malevolent godlike entity who plays with lives just for the hell of it.
>Seven party members
>Seven arts per character
>Sword called Lucky Seven
>Seven full Keves colonies (including colony 0) and Seven full Agnus colonies
>7 chapters
>7 city founders
>7 types of origin shards
>Segiri is designated as No. 7
This game really likes the number 7
This game really likes the number seven
Seven Seven Seven
i know this is a fricking reach, but the tattoo can be drawn with 14 strokes, symetrical, 7 for each of the Keves/Agnus side
the wings
so which one was your favorite?
6 as a whole seemed to end way too quickly after all that.
>and everything at the Cloud Keep + Nia was great.
More melodrama about Joran was great to you?
Better than most of the early melodrama in 2 and literally everything in 1, yes.
Your taste is beyond weird, man
I think it is still 1, it's just a very special game to me.
Glad you enjoyed the game, anon.
2 is still my favorite even if I concede 3 is the better game. 3 just fails to stick the landing.
The expansion could put it on top
What the frick determines if a supply drop is locked or not? I just started ignoring them.
You just kill nearby enemies if it's locked.
Enemies right in front of it.
You beat the enemies, it unlocks
You can't open a supply drop of there are any enemies nearby dumbo, kill them all and then you can open them.
jesus
When you're competing against two tit monsters, you gotta bring something to the table.
>they didn't spam their vocal songs like XC2
>only use the vocal song once each in 3
Makes it more impactful imo. Hearing Drifting Soul like 5 times just makes it obvious it's one of those scenes.
Pretty sure you only heard DS with vocals once in XC2, the other times it was the instrumental version.
>vandham scene
>jin and malos fight
>final boss
I remember 3 off the top of my head.
How many times did they use Drifting Soul anyway? I know the vocal version was used twice and the instrumental version once but I swear it was more.
Twice with vocals, when Vandhan dies and during the final boss fight, then once instrumentally when Nia reveals herself as a blade.
>Xenoshit character design
hmm interesting how everyone seems to agree the last 2 chapters were bad compared to the rest. I thought it was just me getting fatigued from doing so much side content before finishing it
The big reason for me is they stop having those great interparty conversations. Great Cotte Falls through Maktha Forest has so many talks between almost all the characters, and then chapter 6-7 has almost nothing. It also prevents them from reflecting on the crazy revelations they keep getting hit by, which dulls the impact themselves.
the moon scene was kino, that one really stuck with me. and also the great setpieces with the ouroboros going ham like during ethel x cammuravi and them fighting each other during M's fight. those amazing moments vanish from the game later on
The common opinion at this point is that they either became lazy or they were running out of budget and/or time.
>they were running out of budget and/or time.
But they moved the release date up
Even disregarding the time element, you still have the budget and motivational concerns.
I have a sinking feeling that Takahashi did watch/read 86, the pacing and theme is strangely familiar, down to the "climax early and spend the last 2 episiode to cool down and see the world before another climax"
>watch/read 86
86?
>chapter 6
>walk through ice corridor for 10 minutes leading to Miyabi's colony
>it's barely a shack and 3 guys defending it
>get Miyabi and calamari
>Mwamba who
>noone cares
>chapter 7
>fetch quest for same boat but...faster
>cutscene
>purple corridor of frick my eyes are burning this is so purple
>2 hour fight against the biggest hp sponge in history
>great final cutscene
>credits
Doesn't take a genius.
I have no idea what the frick happened for them to greenlight this shit
>Joran comes back
>great offseeing cutscene
>cutscene of Lanz exploding at Noah
>cutscene of Eunie comforting Lanz
>Miyabi, Cammuravi and Mwamba come back
>.....
>Lol know anything about the queen?
Anon you made me spit my tea with calamari
i got excited for the new boat thinking it was going to fly, and I could finally stop flipping through map pages and fly everywhere
imagine my disappoint once I found out its a normal boat and 2 minutes later and its flying in cinema
the only thing worse than the boat was the legendary weapons. here I was thinking every party member would get their own draw lucky seven haha too bad
Compare all of this to the final stretch of Xenoblade 2, where so much shit happens I don't even want to type it all out.
The thing is, they couldn't have done it differently the way everything was setup. The villains were too shit.
>forgot about Crys so hard I didn't even mention him
What a joke lmao
to be fair that's to be expected after chapter 5/6, which is probaby one of the biggest moments in the entire series, if not THE biggest
there was no way to follow up to that
I think most people were expecting a second, bigger lore dump after the Nia one at the start of Chapter 7 with some more reveals like in XB1 or XB2 but it never happened.
>This game is explictly about the worlds from 1 and 2 merging
>What, you thought we'd actually TALK about those worlds? Frick you, they don't matter now
>They could have been two entirely unrelated worlds to previously established lore
>Just clap at the references you ungrateful sheep
He said he it would be the end of "a story the started with 1 and 2", in other words he was teasing that this would be the final game based on the consequences of the Klaus' experiment.
He never said that he was continuing the narratives of 1 or 2, keep seething fan fic tard.
And ut showed melia nad nia evil with masks on and it advertised the mystery of how did that happened. And it has a bunch of meeged ares and also xenoblade 1 future connected was supposedly hinting at the same story.
>And ut showed melia nad nia evil with masks on and it advertised the mystery of how did that happened
That at least is false, they never talked about the queens at all pre-release. The only "info" we got, if you can even call it that, were the leaked official art for them.
It did serve a purpose, but not what your fan fic poisoned mind dreamed of.
If they were going to do a cheep ass avengers get together they wouldn't have bother to make a new cast of main characters, and your moronic ass should have taken a hint from all the different trailers that did not focus on any "world merger" elements in the slightest.
The set up being a big war between the xb1 and xb2 worlds is a "focus on the world merger aspects" i would say
Anon didn you even PLAY the game? It explicitly states that the world's merged MULTIPLE times. It frickin shows you at the start of the game. Do you suffer from head injuries? Did you seriously need a character say "So this the world from XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 1 ON THE NINTENDO WII". Please seek help for your moronation.
>didn you even PLAY the game
> It explicitly states that the world's merged MULTIPLE times.
I don't think you played the game moronbro.
>>Just clap at the references you ungrateful sheep
Po-ppi Al-pha, Po-ppi Al-pha!
Monado REX, I'M GUNNA CUM!
>5 years of cuck memes
>won harder than anyone
our queen...look at that beautiful smile...
>became a trophy wife
>won
Nia had the highest status. Rex was prince consort, pyra and mythra were their concubines.
catbro from the beginning
>won
As PlayStation's beloved mascot Ricky Bobby would say. "If you ain't first, you're last."
Was Poppi sleeping the entire time?
She was the one watching over the Cloud Keep and providing information to Nia while she slept.
No, she's the one powering up the computer that lets Nia get info of the world.
If you go back with her on your team she even says "Hey, I'm back!" to Poppi while your other characters wonder who she's talking to.
Hana and Tora were the best part of 2 for me. Miss those 2 so much.
cute and canon
The amount of mental gymnastics Twitter is going through because of this character is hilarious.
post threads I wanna read
Why though, some people just look more mature than they look. Borealis and calamari dont look young either
I only noticed now but this artist has an extreme same face issue
Maybe you should notice that you're goin blind first.
post an example
I just found out that there are people who didn't know you can switch what character you attack with in a chain attack
These are the people who try to say the tutorials in XC2 were bad when in reality they just don't fricking read shit.
2's tutorials were bad though
>Whoa! Looks like Noah and Mio fused together! Time to learn what they can do in their new Ouroboros form!
Sounds to me that you don't like reading and just skip everything, pretty much a you problem.
These games are like 50% reading.
XB2 simply has terribly designed tutorials.
Yes, it's 3 with the tutorial on/off toggle
3 has a bunch of shit tutorials though.
Remember being forced to equip an accessory at Colony 9's shop after already being forced to equip an accessory after being forced to open a treasure chest?
Remember all of chapter 2? Especially the part where class changing unlocks and you have to set EVERYONE'S master arts and skills? Remember how the Fusion Art tutorial doesnt tell you Fusion Arts are how you increase the Interlink level?
>Fusion Arts are how you increase the Interlink level
I wish I knew this before beating the game an hour ago
You didn't go back to look at the tips and tricks?
But
The tutorials in XC2 -were- bad.
The tutorials in XC2 were downright misleading at times, that's how awful they were
Any game where important mechanics are hidden in a menu under another menu mentioned only as a blurb despite being objectively important to know is a bad tutorial
there's no fricking way
Nia is trans according to this guy btw
I find it hard to hate him even if he is a turbo moron who constantly misunderstands the game themes and has to insert shit. He is just so earnest and honest that I'm willing to forgive all the other homosexualry he puts out. Plus, he is a leftover of the bygone era of LPs where the person actually loves the game they are playing and is actually really informative about everything revolving around it, which is something that basically doesn't exist anymore.
I totally agree. If they weren't going to do anything with it, they didn't need to bother merging 1 and 2's worlds.
He didn’t say Nia herself is trans, he said she’s a trans allegory. He’s still a fricking moron though.
tbh I didn't know I could change the character I'm attacking with the first 3 times I used the chain attack. I thought it worked like XC1
What does this mean?
>switch what character you attack with in a chain attack
You pick which character does an Art and let them do it, you never "switch" characters.
they didn't know you could move left and right to select a different hero to attack
For the first chain attack against the Aspar I didn't know either. Did the training drill right after because I thought something was off and figured it out, those things are actually useful
>Nia doing a impression of Melia to make herself seem elegant
fricking kek
>Immediately calls D a bastard when waking up and then realises she's meant to be elegant and refined
Nia was great in this game
she's made to appeal to westoids who simp for trashy prostitutes. Her dub personality is also not 100% reflective of her portrayal in JP, some of that stuff is there but they take her to 11.
People don't like her? Is it just beta males? She's great.
What happens if I do eunies side quest after i killed x and y at the final dungeon
X doesn't appear until you do that side-quest.
nothing because everything after that is not canon
You're just gay, anon, sorry.
>pornstar body
What the frick does this even mean you mongoloid?
Not being a hambeast makes a woman a pornstar now? I don't get it.
fit but with proportions
So taking care of your body and having good genetics makes you a pornstar?
Would you go around calling any guy over 6 feet a pornstar too? That just sounds insanely braindead and extremely autistic.
>Would you go around calling any guy over 6 feet a pornstar too?
if they were fit and hung then yes, they would have a body built for porn
What the frick relation does dick have to boobs? Wouldn't it have made more sense with this "logic" if the girl canonically had a tight pussy or something instead?
I dunno, I guess I need to get a lobotomy or something for this to make sense like it does for some of you.
Descriptive language anon, surely you understand english. A person doesnt literally have to be a chef for you to say they cook like a chef.
If a girl isn't a ugly hamburger helper, she's a pornstar
Sorry I don't make the rules, that's what the wider internet says
XenobIacked
sexgiri
i want to sniff lanz's sweaty pecs
me too Fiona
we know sena
the only character unironically made for bbc is Eunie
>Taion
>bbc
please
he definitely has the smallest penis in the cast
nimue and alex were thirsting
Nimue was his mother figure you sick frick
Alex is just a b***h and doesn't deserve love from anyone
>Alex is just a b***h and doesn't deserve love from anyone
I love her
Dusty vegana
Barren womb
I love whencharacters are hal-lidded in screenshots. Always makes it funny.
same
Glad I'm not the only one who finds it funny. They look like they are sick of somebody's shit or annoyed when they look like that.
You just described bayonetta
Alexandria is for taking (not)shota wiener from Valdi.
The Queen is cute! CUTE!
Just ignore her single bed.
It's at LEAST big enough for her and the monado
Definitely the best rendition of Melia. She is pure sex in this game.
>game has two queens
>only one actually acts like a queen
I don't want the worlds reuniting for the Ouroboros gang.
I want it reuniting so Cammuravi and Ethel can finally frick.
The only thing that can cure Melina’s loneliness is Big Nopon wiener
Has Riku been on the failed journeys with previous Noahs? Why else would he give him Lucky Seven when he's still a kid. Riku also seems pretty unphazed by all the crazy shit that happens, probably because he's used to it.
they deserved a better game
I'm glad they're in the best xenoblade game
bro Eunie looks so fat in her art
They're already in the best Xenoblade game, keep seething.
Eunie, Lanz, Taion, Mio, Riku and Manana did.
Noah and Sena can wallow in 3's middling plot until they get a personality that isn't "Muh Mio and off-seeing" or "Muh Mio and working out"
Sena is a beta orbiter in blade form.
>Did I do good?
>Did I do good?
>Am I good girl?
>Please pay attention to me
>I showed you my dick plz respond
Sure he's a bit subdued and mellow but he's the only protagonist who have said "I'm going to do x" and then he actually does it, all while exploring his flaws and personal worldview
noah is great yeah, it helps that he's subdued because it keeps the main cast grounded to counter eunie lanz taion and sena
He very clearly doesn't like fighting but it is believable that he is good with the sword because you see him autistically practicing all the time.
considering 3 is the best game Monolith ever made, your only hope is that saitom and whoever was in charge of the character writing change studios
but who am I kidding, nobody except Monolith even bothers making full fledged JRPGs anymore, so this is the best we're going to get
Dragon Quest still gets good games.
She's got a big butt.
For you.
>Just got to sea after recruiting Riki in 1 replay
>Tell myself I'll rebuilt Colony 6 this time.
May watch movie cut at some point.
getting affinity for characters is actually pretty piss easy in X, and Lao especially since he is required doesn't need as much affinity as others
Still dumb, game should have forced him on a main plot mission that auto maxed his affinity.
not defending it, Lao wasn't the only one required in the main story btw. But X also actively encouraged you to go out and explore and do a bunch of shit between missions and actively rewarded you for it.
Which is more than can be said for 3, which actively punishes you by making you overleveled
Only if you were a pussy and played on normal.
Wait so this game has a fricking job system?
SHIIIEET i may have to play this, mmo combar or not
Whew lads
>I showed you my breasts answer me
Think we'll get swimsuits for heroes like some blades got them? Shit swimsuit Monica would murder my dick
Wasn't it just the main characters that got them? I doubt heroes will but I guess it's possible since you can equip them
>ghondor got to suckle on those b***hbreasts
Now he gets to suckle on them.
Anyone else playing Xenogears since people can't shut up about 3 ripping it off? This better be good
it's kino
what happened to episodes I to IV
don't do it you'll ruin every xeno game you've played and haven't played
I just played it for the first time before 3 came out. It's good but the gameplay can get pretty stale. Also notoriously shits the bed HARD in the second half.
Played it when it came out back in... 97, I guess? I give it a whirl every five years or so. Great game. And be certain to read each line of dialogue CAREFULLY. It's a rich story and some of the more subtle points are easy to miss.
Hope you love it as much as I did.
>Anyone else playing Xenogears since people can't shut up about 3 ripping it off?
Yeah, a bud of mine has been telling me to play for the past 15 years.
Yeah
They are literally made by the same man
I can't be the only one that laughed at Joran's death flashback right? It was so moronic. It was funny because the game was just starting to win me over with those wholesome conversations between Taion and Eunie and Lanz, and then it pulls that shit with surprise villain Joran to remind me that the villains fricking suck so much ass.
Joran is actually one of the better villains honestly. Although the first time you meet him it feels like an asspull out of nowhere and he does a terrible job of seeming even slightly sympathetic.
imagine being eternally fat
Joran, Shania, and Crys, all present the party with the exact same dilemma.
The writing broke the concept into three different characters and all three of them end up weaker because of it.
I thought there was enough nuance between Joran and Shania that it was fine, but Crys definitely felt excessive.
>Joran is basically what happens when the enemy includes former friends.
>Shania is basically what happens when the problems at home directly cause problems abroad.
>Crys is ???
He really isn't much of a threat until the final phase, and you can still get very much party wiped if you get lazy. I was 2 levels lower than his final form and he just happened to spam three attacks in a row that killed my healers first, my attackers, and then my tanks didn't last much longer. He isn't really hard if you take it seriously, but he can still surprise you.
they forgot to explain the fweeeting so they put him there
I actually didn't mean the dilemma of having to fight a former ally.
>OI DIDJA ‘EAR DAT NOWAAH? LANZ WANTS ‘UMTHIN AH BYT METEAH.
It’s because she has the voice of an angel that will give you syphilis
>Monica and Ghondor are fricking annoying and look like shit
Shania did nothing wrong.
Monica is okay.
Shania should have shot Ghondor before shooting herself.
Ghondor can go straight to hell. She and Monica joining you at the end was unecessary.
Why is she so rape correctable?
she is simply BUILT for it
Pigtails + lickable forehead + bratty attitude. Nothing else can fix her, tragic
I thought I was the only one thinking this lmao
When she started talking trash in the prison scene, I was like "JP artists, do your thing. b***h needs correction."
There's only 2 lewds now though
>never played any of the xeno series
>have had a switch for a while
i feel like im missing out do i have to play the previous ones to play 3?
It's not necessary, it's an almost entirely standalone story.
Nope, some spoilers for contest. 1/2 take place at the same time in connected dimensions and 3 is about them coming together afterwards but new characters so shit gets explained.
*context
No, you can go straight into 3 if you want, you can understand the story no problem.
But play the others if you can, preferably in release order. All the Xenoblades are fun.
Just play them in order, anon, they're all on the same system. Why start with 3?
They should cut Omega from main story
Everything about it scream filter
6 and 7 have so much filler it's fricking insane. I swear that the way they wrote the story meant they had nothing interesting left to write about in the last two chapters. The villains were so fricking bad they don't even get a cutscene for their deaths.
>Cloudkeep is hidden inside Angus Castle
>After walking up Nia entire Angus force raid Kevis Castle to free Melia.
>Raid Origin right after Melia bring the votex defend down.
If you have nothing interesting left just go for ending after chapter 5
>have to eat battle soup to start Triton's ascension quest
>not ocean's bounty
The quest starts because he feels there is something missing from the soup.
you listed all of them.
>We walked 20 feet, looks like it’s time to camp again so we can have another cutscene that doesn’t really push the plot forward
Please, I’m begging you to stop it
>get to chapter 6-7
WHY ARE THERE NO CUTSCENES, IT'S JUST A LONG CORRIDOR AHHH
Treasure those moments. They're gone and sorely missed in the final stretch.
those are some of the best moments in the game though
>at the final boss
>just die
>game kick me to the title screen
Wait WHAT!!!!!???????
lol.
lmfao, even.
It's like 50 minutes of fighting too.
The worst part was that I thought I was supposed to lose because I saw the loading symbol.
I hope you enjoyed 2 hours unskippable cutscene agains
They're not really unskippable are they?
Well technically it all "gameplay"
>he lost
>2 healers
>Memory Locket on 1 tank
there you beat the game. If you want SUPER easy mode make the two healers Troubador/Signifer.
>He lost
That's tradition. The shitty part is his first phase being a complete waste of time. He dies in less than a minute after you get interlinking and chain attacks back but it takes like 10 minutes of unskippable cutscenes to get there.
It amuses him
sounds like perfect brap hog material if you ask me
>Unlimited Lucky Seven
>Fighting the Queen of Keves
>Keep toppling and launching her repeatedly so she can’t put up her stupid shield and end the fight
I flipped that b***h for like 5 minutes straight
Here lies Riki, he died debt free
xenoblade 2 is a top 3 fav games for me, how does 3 stack up - all the trailers made me not interested in it to buy it yet
It's okay. Story wise it's worse than 2 for me, but the sidequests might just make it on par with 2.
My personal rankings are
2 > 3 > 1 = X
I think all are amazing games.
>2 > 3 > 1 = X
I'm sorry but this has to be the worst ranking I've ever seen.
Post your ranking then homosexual.
Protip: Your opinion is worthless if you put 1 or X at the top.
>doesn't think 1 or X are the best ones
Never mind I thought you were trolling but turns out you just have shit taste.
why do you like xc2?
>persist in this broken world where you and your friends are still doomed to die when you hit 20
>destroy the world and possibly never see your friends from the other world again to be able to live a full life free from endless fighting
The more I think about it, the more I feel that 3's cast got screwed hard.
Aionios is a really shitty place. The ending we got really is the best possible outcome.
>everything we ever did
>the tater farming, the mech' building, the colony's renovatin'
>all will be lost in time against the raging annihilation events, or just the people doing it dying out
shits plain doomed from the start, and gave me quite the bittersweet feeling during all the side quests. Here hoping their actual life in the actual worlds ended up better. The ending would hit way better if they gave us a small montage of Zeon farming his spuds happily with Juniper and a spaghetti dropping Kite nearby
>inb4 the dlc is just a walking trip down all the lands, meeting old heroes-now-civi having their good life
>You meet child Zeon
>He mentions how a few days ago he suddenly really started liking potatoes
>inb4 the dlc is just a walking trip down all the lands, meeting old heroes-now-civi having their good life
considering how much takahashi is shilling this game's expansion, and how it is going to be the conclusion for the trilogy, I can see it being pure fanservice, showing how everyone from all 3 games is doing
it's going to be the founders scenario and you will like it
you know
I wouldn't mind if they actually explore what the frick happens when Z came to be and hijacked the whole thing.
But that sounds fricking boring
>the XC2 cast starts with Pyra, Mythra, and Nia in a chain attack against Rex to create another set of half triplets
The DLC is going to be about getting Melia laid.
It goes horribly wrong
It's gonna be something about the three protagonist swords specifically.
All that means is that Shulk and Rex are gonna be DLC Heroes
>Rex and Shulk are confirmed to participate in the 1st Moebius War, just not the exact founders of the city themselves
>the missing 7th founder and how Riku got his hand on the lucky Seven
a prequel sounds very likely with how they have been teasing it hard, but still i would prefer an epilogue with the same older Rex and Shulk and Noah going on an adventure
>every cover arts so far have been during the day, even Torna
>except this DLC, its at nightfall, aka the end of the 3 swords
>30 year old Shulk and Rex going on an adventure with Noah and his cat gf
Would be fun
Man it's kind of sad that Rex/Shulk and the combined casts of Xenoblade 1 and 2 didn't just wipe the fricking floor with Z.
that would annihilate the point of the game if the previous generation that spawned Z stepped in to solve the problem.
>Don't worry! I'll go easy on you!
>*tachyon slashes you with the blunt edge of his sword*
t-thanks Noah
>THIS IS THE WAY TO THE FUTURE
>*draws Lucky seven*
>One shots you
Noah wtf
>casts Doom on the enemy
Noah I don't think you're just gonna knock them out doing that.
Well, the entire concept of "using the blunt side of a sword to incapacitate enemies" is flawed from the getgo.
Why is it still called lucky seven if Noah gave it a different name?
i just like calling it lucky 7 because it's a cool name
Dropped plot point, please understand.
Just like how Malos whispering into Jin's ear was a dropped plot point right?
Nah, they consistently show malos had a
Lot of loyalty and genuine friendship for the torna crew. You don’t need to know what he said to know he was being a bro because he knew he’d never see him again. Reminds me a lot of my buddies in the military, especially how he reacts to their deaths
It wasnt a dropped plot point, there was a patch that removed the line "DONT FORGET ME" from the game. It is removed from the ardanian seargent attack line, but the line is also missing in the lora death flashback, from malos whispering to jin, and from pyra/mythra in the postcredits scene.
jej
it's called sword of the end dude
You use them and you buff the frick out of your party.
you're at your colony doing chores and this guy walks up to you says "entertain me", what do
Do a little jig and then try and punch him in the face
FWEEEEEEET!
>Start chain attack on final boss
>His health stops going down at 50%
>Millions of damage completely invalidated because he hadn't shifted phases yet
Cool
since challenge mode swimsuit costumes is a given, make your bets on who is getting
>the modest bathing suit
>the sundress
>the high cut swimsuit
lanz swimsuit...
>Sena - Sundress
>Eunie - Modest one piece made lewd by her proportions
>Mio - loose bikini
screencap this
Honestly I’d rank 2 and 3 on par with each other. Both are better than the other in certain ways (3 absolutely dunks on 2 in terms of gameplay and sidequests) but I feel like 2 had higher highs in terms of story. As for characters I’d say 3 slightly edges out the win if only because 2’s cast took a while to grow on me.
only realized she was supposed yawning after assuming
>she was supposed to be an old woman who threw out her back and was screaming in pain
>she was fricked too hard and threw out her back and was screaming in pain
Bruh, Pyra's front and center in the photograph. I like the cat too, but pretending she'll ever be at that level is foolish.
why did they make him so cute
nice quads, Mimi!
Woah, look at all these emotions we barely saw.
Those would have been cool.
Why would Nia put her secret hideout in the cold region, I thought she hated the cold.
That's why, nobody would ever think to look for her there.
Why did Nia reveal herself to M.
I just realized something. Sena's Ouroboros is the only one without shoes. Seriously, she has lion/tiger feet. It's weird.
>colony µ (Mu)
>colony 0
>µ00000000000000000
Takahashi you cheeky frick
it's a love live reference.
If Rex didn't look like shit and didn't have a shit VA I might've put the game on par with 3 or 1 but he feels like a downgrade from Shulk while Noah is dimensionally better in design, VA and character.
3>2>1
If only cuz 3 his far les frustrating mechanics wise than 2. Never played X cuz I skipped the WiiU
Any busted soul hacker builds?
I like to imagine based on Mythra's embarrassed face that they had a discussion about if they should all have children at the same time, and Pyra / Nia were all for it outvoting Mythra
Where are his other kids, if they're all the same age who do we only see Mio?
Cammuravi is going to be pyras son
Buy the expansion to learn about Mythra's
>Cammuravi is going to be pyras son
But he doesn't look like Pyra.
Like, where did the flaming hair come from?
what other flame blades do we know?
Dagas
Crossette
Newt
Perdido
Brighid is the only blade with fire hair
does it count if it's literally a torch
Wasn't there a male Blade in 2 with fiery hair...?
>CHADurravi
>Rex's weak genes
doubt, i'll believe this delusion when someone has actual proof besides "fire and red"
Rex has the most chad genes in the series.
His other child, Mio, did manage to save the world with a bit of trickery
By "weak genes" he means that Mio is almost a carbon copy of Nia in looks.
Well technically she could have inherited Rex's eye colour since Rex and Nia have very similar eye colours.
>having more kids equals good genes
Never been to a flyover state I take it?
It's well known science that a desire to consume soýlent and the process of doing so = bad genes, most prominent in California and New York
Just because Californians have weak chins and manboobies from a lack of spine doesn't elevate your muddied blood, Cletus
t.
Why would a New Yorker write that post?
>he takes his eye out
>a couple hours later find the Founders' statue that says the big guy lost an eye
>the statue is the Rex lookalike
they're not even being subtle
>this cause so much controversy
its pretty cute since they're all happy.
They expected it, and Zeke would have cheered them on while it was happening.
They probably reacted earlier when finding out, but by the point the picture was taken they'd accepted.
Well Morag is gay so she wouldn't care either way
Morag has her own wife, why does she care what the dumb shota does with his dick?
Why peope ship Morag with Brighid again?
When I play the game she screaming I want to frick my brother all the time.
/u/ has a really strong lobby in the shipping industry
Of all the videogames to find a polyamorous relationship in, it had to be Xenoblade fricking 2.
No shit it'd be Xenoblade 2, even without including Nia he was always going to have at least two wives.
why doesn't zeke have a kid of his own?
>I like to imagine based on Mythra's embarrassed face that they had a discussion about if they should all have children at the same time, and Pyra / Nia were all for it outvoting Mythra
I think she's camera shy.
Poppi looks disappointed with the degeneracy
>Mio and Camuravi are born from Rex's loins.
>Meanwhile, Shulk squirts his seed into Fiora's fake womb and out pops this piece of shit
Should have chose Mel
eunie sexo
>still no paizuri art of her
Nia absolutely fricked Mythra at least once. Hey they’re in the same harem so it’s cool
Kinda feels like people forget that Pyra/Mythra and Nia actually had a good relationship.
There's a reason one of the two NG+ title screens was Nia pushing Rex away to hold Pyra and Mythra's hands herself.
nice
Always funny finding a channel with 0 views then suddenly their 1 vid gains massive traction.
The dub is pretty good, but the JP N just nails the sound of a man breaking down about to start sobbing
I love the coalescence of emotional instability, sorrow, and arrogance in dub N's voice. Really stole the show for me in most his scenes.
who does Melia thank at the end when looking at the Monado
riku
reminder that literally every trait in Mio not found in Nia has to come from Rex, including the slightly upgraded breasts
I actually do see a lot of Rex's personality come out of Mio.
Yeah I can see that, she has a similar type of optimism in her.
I don't think optimism is hereditary
BRRAAAAAAPPPPPP
How do you get her back in the moebius costume?
But the Expansion Pass 😉
You can't for now. That anon didnt progress ch6 story
>Save a file just before Mio asks about what to do with her hair
>Run around forever in M's costume while you progress in your secondary file.
Ass.
you hear that, Noah?
sorry Eunie. not in the mood for something meaty right now.
>quest about a ferronis neet
>he literally says dumbass normies
>One of us
um we call them normalgays sweaty
