There's very little work involved in crafting though. It's something to do for 5 minutes while waiting for a queue. Custom deliveries for the week can be knocked out in less than that.

Mindlessly grinding them is the worst way to level them. Just do your GC turn ins, beast tribes and weekly turn ins and you'll be done in no time. I think it ran me less than a mil and maybe 2 weeks of GC turn ins to level all my crafters and gatherers from 80-90. They've made it really easy.

Midgardsormr doesn't take the echo from us, all he does is switch off the power of the crystals we gathered which charged the blessing. We have plenty of echo visions before, during and after all that stuff.
We even fight an Ascian 1v1 while stripped of the blessing which shows how meaningless that whole keeper of the lake thing was. Almost like the writers did it solely for immediate shock value (like Thancred's "betrayal" and Nanamo's "death")

When you awaken to the echo, the first thing you hear is the signal Hydaelyn is shitting out. So maybe hearing Hydaelyn automatically gives you the travelers ward.
Hydaelyn gives out the Blessing of Light to anyone like the whore she is. Remember SHB when dozens of random adventurers on the First got it when Elidibus was still trying to force the world fall to light? Hydaelyn probably recast it on us numerous times throughout the game.

That is what I expect with the graphics update of 7.0 unless SE is lazy. But SE has spaghet code to work with, so it's dubious what they can change. I believe a recent patch did make it take a few days or change something to how injecting worked.
As SE is always lazy they will not do anything. Or rather what they do will be indirect ways to mitigate modding. Modders made it so you could move boss markers around during a fight to telegraph mechanics, so they made it so you can only put markers down pre fight. Something like taht'd happen for cameras and whatnot.
Past that I expect if quicklauncher ever got nuked we'd be back to the dark ages of textools.

If anything the graphical update for 7.0 is just a new shader and higher resolution textures on certain pieces. There won't be anything that will actually change how they'll be loading models so both TexTools and Penumbra should work after their things just get updated.

You might as well do the same shit you said about Eureka's steps considering you have to do the entirety of Manderville's questline to even access the new relics. You catch up to EW for the first step, and the 2nd step is finishing the current questline. People behind on it were caught off guard on how much shit they have to go through. For those of us though who finished it though, it's not the worst, I hated SHB's method and I hated doing shit like Delubrum, ended up doing DD for mine.
HW relics were my favorite. ARR relics blew, Eureka was fun but the final steps were a bit of a slog in Hydatos, fuck everything related to Bozja outside of Pagaga and Lyons, I got my like 3 relics from there before I just stopped caring. I expected to do Eureka orthos or some sort of surprise greg fight for the new relic step but legit, I don't mind it if it pays off with a grand Manderville related setup later.
ARR, HW and ShB did it best.
