>y-you didn't finish the ga.
Yes, yes I did. I'm sorry if your're too low IQ to pic DEX when attack speed lets me put in more damage per dodge because of how maths work
Or abusing ranged combat because it is just OP since that's how attack range works by direct definition
Dont care i beat it using the great club get back on your knees dex sissy
100% PTDE
Bought the remaster to 100% it again
it's gaming time
Starfield first
>y-you didn't finish the ga.
No I didn’t, it was the worst out of the series while also being the worst in terms of pvp
>No I didn’t, it was the worst out of the series
stop with this meme, you're allowed to finish the first game since it is good
but the rest of the DS games are just bad
No I’m not making a joke or shitposting, I’ve played them all and ds1 is the shittiest one.
>needlessly punishing to a point it doesn’t respect your time
>mid roll is shit forcing you to be on light load to have a dodge
>too many humanoid enemies that can backstab
>backstabs in general are buggy janky shit where you magnetize to someone 10 feet away
>bosses are ok but just ok
>the entirety of sens fortress
>anor Lando being mostly unexplorable
>needlessly punishing to a point it doesn’t respect your time
???
Dark Souls 1 is one of the easiest games in the series. Only Demon's Souls is easier.
>mid roll is shit forcing you to be on light load to have a dodge
Maybe mid/early game but once you get armor upgrades, mid rolls give you great physical resist, poise and equip load for high AR weapons. They're viable even in pvp.
>too many humanoid enemies that can backstab
>backstabs in general are buggy janky shit where you magnetize to someone 10 feet away
skill issue
>the entirety of sens fortress
imagine not liking sens lmao
If you aren’t going to put any thought into your posts then I’m uninterested in this discussion.
>skill issue
Is not an argument especially when what I said is true and wasn’t intended for the mechanic. And yeah sens fortress was dogshit while also being too short
>If you aren’t going to put any thought into your posts then I’m uninterested in this discussion.
Funny you say that while only retorting the most low effort parts of the post and shutting your gay mouth about the things you know you're absolutely wrong about.
Later games that tried to give backstabs a rev up animation just made the games feel laggier and worse when backstabs would actually go through.
>And yeah sens fortress was dogshit
I'm sorry to say you have shit taste.
You seem pretty upset, and that’s a lot of words to say nothing.
>sens fortress
I'd agree with him on that. It only seems good because it ends on a high note with Iron Golem and the Anor Londo reveal. Otherwise it's a mishmash of enemies in a lazy Tomb Raider segment.
>No I didn’t, it was the worst out of the series
It's the only good game Fromsoft ever released that wasn't Elden RIng
You didn't play it right. Dark Souls is the Journey of the series, it's an experience more than a game. Maybe it only works when you're a kid, but all the set-pieces are so awesome. They have giants pulling chains to open a gate, Ash Lake and the big ass tree leading up to it, the gaping dragon, they all create a feeling that's incredibly hard to capture, especially since none of the singular elements are what creates the feeling.
The entirety of Lordran is on those huge spires seen in Ash Lake, and everything just flows down into blight-town. It's a giant sewer and it makes sense why it is that. The undead-burg only makes sense as a level because people put up wooden pathways around. Normally it's just an over-built poor part of a medieval town because all the rich people live in Anor Londo. New Londo was really the new big city but then everything got fucked up, there're giant piles of skulls in New Londo because the kings sapped everybody of their humanity. Isn't that all badass?
This. Strength chads stay winning. If you do less than 800 damage in a single hit then you're doing it wrong.
literally the opposite is true and you will always be a secondary
ds2moron detected
dex doesnt increase attack speed. funny story though. before ds1 came out someone told me if you got high enough dex you could do flips when you dodged, i went radio silent to play blind when it came out and got my dex to like 50 before leveling anything else then realized i got memed. the game was hard as fuck.
take off the armor, dumbass. you need high endurance if you wanna flip with armor on
>realized i got memed
Imagine how you'll feel when you realize that you didn't get memed at all.
The common mobs have always been more difficult in any souls game than the bosses, so beating bosses as a measure of skill is irrelevant. If you can't go through an area and kill every enemy you can't play.
>filters you
Pic related is far harder.
>getting filtered by a tutorial tier enemy from the beginning of the game
>being incapable of baiting them out 1-2 at a time
skill issue
In what way? Those guys don't even respawn.
Fight all of them at once, as is intended, and they are harder than Ornstein and Smough.
Only, that's not what's intended. It's intended that you try to cheese it, fuck up and agro 2, and then have to fight them.
The only way the Taurus demon is hard is if you don't dodge into their crotch.
>intended
>cheese
It's just broken. Look at DS3: Puss of Man is harder than Vordt. Elden Ring: Revenants and bears are harder than Morgott.
Yes, cheese is intended. Like in the first Taurus demon fight, it's intended that you should be able to pelt him with bombs until he jumps up to the top of the tower. Enemy agro is meant to be taken advantage of, it's one of the "skills" of the game. Whether that's a good test of skill to have in a game is a different argument, but I know it's intended because they have all sorts of agro skill-tests in Dark Souls 3.
I don't think I've ever seen anyone call a taurus demon hard in my life. What in the world are you doing to find a taurus demon hard?
Miyazaki has talked about the failure that is the demon ruins. Honestly, the entire game would be better if the area didn't exist and Ceaseless discharge just ended up being an annoying boss you fight to pick up an abandoned lord soul that he was protecting. That way you get to keep the parasites and cool lava area without having to look at all the lava. Even better, make Ceaseless discharge the centipede demon, put a little side area with the mouth demons and statue demons, then go further down kinda like Dante's Inferno and then you have to fight capres and tauruses en masse to find the soul on some corpse. This adds to the sad stories and gets rid of all the gay repeat boss designs. The ruins should've just been hell, basically. I get that they were trying to go for a fallen civilization, but they needed more development to do that, not that I blame them for not knowing how it was gonna turn out.
bouding demons were meant to be a new demon type not the bottom half of an undead dragon, although there was meant to be 1 bottom half of an undead dragon to go with the top half in the valley of drakes.
DS1 remake would be pretty cool if they could put all this stuff in they wanted
This place is the ugliest fucking place in any Souls game. Looking at the walls and ceiling actually gave me physical pain. Like how can it be THAT bad.
>When souls game "filter" is just a spearman who move fast once every now and then and hammer guy who hammers
>Instead of "anime swordsman boss" that flip around the area and slashes 100 times before you realize it you're already nothing personal kid'd
Good old days
Ive beaten bloodborne and ds3, but got unironically filtered by these 2 cucks when i went back to play ds1
I play all those games as a knightfag but once i did a run with magic and holy jesus that is easy mode. Manus allways raped my ass but with magic i killed him with like 4 magic nukes in 10 seconds.
Yeah, magic is only balanced if you use literally just any magic you find without looking for good stuff, and even then you'd have to avoid exploring (which you can't do).
