So Eunie does have normal human ears despite having those wing-looking ones, does that mean Mio also has normal human ears despite having cat ears?? Or does she doesn't have anything on each side of her face?

why would you look at wings and assume they function as ears

What's the appeal of these games?
is it just the funny bri'ish dub?
I never owned a nintendo console but I started getting to Switch emulation to play some exclusives and this game has more or less picked my interest

Usually there's a big plot twist that gets you wanting to continue to play more to find out what it's all about. Plus the RPG elements are fun to mix and match around for optimal damage. In XB3's case there are over 20 classes in the game that your party of 6 can learn to master and you can swap between the classes at any time. Mastering them at certain levels unlocks passive skills and active spells called arts that can be fused into your current main class for some interesting combos.

Usually the starts are slow but the games build out the further you go along and add more mechanics to your kit until you have pretty satisfying combat. Also the endings of these games tend to be pretty wild as far as the storytelling goes.

They're just really good JRPGs and have elements about them that no other game does. They feel unique within the RPG genre.

The world's are massive, unique looking and have an interesting premise as the games take place on the bodies of much larger beings, or in the case if 3, bits and pieces of thier remains from the previous games smashed together. The areas are also absolutely massive. While X is the only one that's truly open world, the size and scope of areas in the other games give you that "open world" feeling of exploration without much of the pitfalls of large open worlds.

The gameplay is pretty great, though some say it's a bit too much like an "offline MMO" with its combat built around managing cooldowns, aggro and character positioning. Character customization in terms of things like stats, attacks, and passive abilities are great. 3 in particular excels in this, you're basically given 6 characters and early in you have the ability to make them into any class, and then take abilities from classes they have experience with an bring them to other classes, combined with a steady drip of new classes every few hours.

The stories are also really good, the characters are all very likable, the cutscene cinematography is top notch, and the vocal performances all great with a few exceptions, especially in dub. The British voices also give it a very unique flair compared to most games which use the same sounding American or Japanese voices. X has American voices in the dub, which is fine as the cast are literally American space colonists.
The stories are also incredibly well placed, with some new twist or crazy event to keep your interest. The music is also a huge highlight.

They also all emulate pretty good.

The "silly mascot race" in the series, the Nopon, are also based.

They're the best modern JRPGs as far as I'm concerned.

Is this game actually good? I saw some gameplay of the one prior to this one and it looked absolutely fricking horrible with awful in-combat dialogue and all the other trappings of moronic Japanese shit.
