I sadly beat it and went to NG+, then Fromshit announced the DLC. Now I need to make another character for it.

I went back and just beat it. Pure strenght dual stancing hammers. Very fun, but maybe the fact that i could do massive damage in one attack trivialized a lot of bosses. I think i'll never be satisfied with how i did it. First blind run abused the moonveil and used ashes on malenia and elden beast, second run leaned a lot on jump attacks. Thing is magic looks boring and dumb and a more traditional souls build seems tedious. I beat the game right bros?
You didn't but only because you used summons.
Bleed, magic, ash of war spam, all of it and every other OP build in the game counts but summons do not. They're the sidewheels for shitters, the easy mode every journo asked for.

I literally didn't. I beat Fire Giant, then Mohg, and then stopped and have now farmed Mohg a thousand times for no reason
I finished Elden Ring using a quality build and the bloodhound's fang. I am in my second playthrough but I decided not to go with NG+. I just started a fresh new game instead. I've chosen to go with an absolute bleed build going full DEX/ARC. I started with power-stancing dual-wielding uchigatanas and currently wielding the Eleonora's Poleblade. I am enjoying this playthrough so much more. Bleed and twin blades are a lot of fun.

Nope, wasn't even that far from the end relatively speaking.
All I had left that I needed to do was clear Farum Azula and do the boss run, maybe finish Elphael and beat Malenia.
I just got tired of the game by that point. Now that DLC was announced, I'll probably just wait for all of the DLC to drop before I go back in.
Hopefully I'm in the best spot to go straight to it.
I beat it once and never again. Always started a new character when Souls DLC gets announced, but the thought of replaying this game makes my stomach turn.
