she's insecure about other people as is and you're trying to initiate something intimate with her. These are delicate situations and you fricked it up.

She insults the protagonist for having it too good and being perfect regardless of whether you try to hug her or not.

pic related, like I said she's clearly an emotional wreck and you fricked it up
Why do you keep bringing up the hug option, she just starts insulting you out of nowhere. Normal people dont try to bring other people down and insult them when they feel sad. I dont need that toxic shit.
>Normal people dont try to bring other people down and insult them when they feel sad.
Yes they fricking do, have you never interacted with another human being before? >I dont need that toxic shit.
Are you not aware of the irony that you're doing exactly what Yukari is doing in that scene? Declaring someone else to be a toxic influence for making you feel bad instead of trying to understand where they are coming from? It's a normal response when people are upset, particularly if they are used to feeling let down by the people they trust.

Not people I know of nor do I try to hurt others when bad things happen to me, why would I try to bring others down?
In reality if that happened to me I would have to swallow my words and just let her vent, but after that I would cut my losses, she needs psychologic help and im not one who can give it to her, I have no obligation to become an emotional punching bag when I try to help her, less so becoming a friend of someone who puts me down in casual conversation with no hint of irony or joking tone whatsoever.

You are deep in denial then. >after that I would cut my losses, she needs psychologic help and im not one who can give it to her
After how she's come to rely on "you" through the battles so far, "you" are the exact person she needs. And if you're so badly triggered by someone telling you that you don't know them, I think you're the one who needs some psychological help. I have to question why the hell you'd even want a relationship if you plan to just give up at the first sign of conflict.

>You are deep in denial then.
What the frick, in what kind of situation is it normal to start insulting people who support you when you are going through a bad time, do YOU do that? Ive only met a single person who was like that and he was bipolar, it's stresfull as frick having to walk on eggshells around a person who is nice to you one day but treats you like absolute shit the other for things you arent related to. Was I cruel for stopping talking to him? Because whenever I was around him I had to choose every single word that came from my mouth and it was mentally taxxing to me, which didnt help because any other bad shit that happened to him still made him explode on me. Frick off, I dont believe people cant control themselves or at least choose their words while on my side I have to plan ahead every single word and action, I dont have to take undeserved abuse or somehow simply forget it because you say "sorry" when you are done with your outburst. People like this need proffesionals trained to deal with their bullshit, not random punching bags they can treat like shit whenever they have a bad die, this is not how society nor healthy relationships should work and I dont have to act like a battered wife taking it hoping some day you will stop doing it. >After how she's come to rely on "you" through the battles so far, "you" are the exact person she needs. And if you're so badly triggered by someone telling you that you don't know them.
I dont get triggered by her telling me I dont know her, im just tired of having to tolerate an awful friend who puts me down even when im trying to be nice. It's simply not healthy to me and I believe I have the right to take care of myself.

She's cute but high maintenance as frick. You'd always be walking on eggshells in a relationship with someone like her and she has zero sense of humor.
Ideally you should play P3 FES either on the PS2 or through totally legal emulation methods. P3P is an acceptable alternative, you can play it now on PSP or just wait for the PC port coming next year.
The tl;dr is that FES has content that makes it the preferred way to experience the story, at least for the first time, whereas PSP has additional content and QoL features that make it ideal for people who've beaten the game and want to replay with more variety. Specifically, FES has animated cutscenes which were turn into VN stills and text boxes in P3P. FES also has an epilogue called the The Answer which isn't strictly necessary, but is canon and gets referenced in other media like the Persona 4 spinoff fighting game. FES also has a fully 3D world with character models, whereas P3P only has 3D environments and character models in the game's dungeons, the rest of the time it's a VN with sprites and map view of areas. The main benefit of P3P is the female protagonist, which is in many ways a different game. Different characters, different relationships, even a new soundtrack. There is also more content like a bonus dungeon, and the gameplay has been simplified in certain ways, which you might consider to be a good or bad thing.
So I'd suggest playing FES, even if it's really rough around the edges with some difficulty spikes here and there, then playing P3P when it gets a PC release if you want.
>"why does the girl with crippling depression who feels abandoned by everyone she's ever cared about act mean and try to push me away?"
Yukari is top tier and you homosexuals have no taste. Mitsuru stole my heart though.
why do people have such strong feelings towards Yukari
when I played she seemed completely whatever
wouldn't even guess there's seething about her online
because people project the popular b***h of their high school onto her and/or get mad she's extremely guarded and reluctant to trust anyone.
kind of reminds me the tsundere debate of "is she cute or just a b***h" all over again except with Yukari it's more to do with deep-seated trust issues. like a tsundere who doesn't have any love interest to break through her emotional barriers, so they just get stronger and more deeply rooted in her personality over time.
it's the broken bird fantasy, but she has such a good front of being nice and normal, people don't recognize that she's that type of character. so a lot of people get turned away because they think she's a shallow popular b***h, and then more people get turned away when it's clear she's not the friendly well-adjusted girl she seems to be. most persona girls have some sort of subversion to their character, but Yukari has a double subversion, at least to western audiences who seem more likely to assume that the popular girl is going to be a b***h.
I love Yukari and was deeply touched when she was ready to kill everyone else just for (You). Fuuka would never do that. People who like Fuuka are dumb.

I'm tall and loud-social autistic instead of quiet-antisocial autistic so I never got bullied by girls, just a couple dudes.
What's a female bully like, Ganker? is it as hot as I imagine?
Is female on male bullying even that common? Most girls in my school if they had an issue with a guy would just act super passive aggressive towards them but wouldn't go beyond that.
The female on male bullying I saw in school was nearly always baiting spergs into embarrassing themselves by acting flirty then pulling out the rug from under them when they respond to it for laughs. Made me terrified and paranoid of women tbph
I know a guy who calls her the worst girl in vidya. I don't think she's all that good, but "worst" really feels like he's either pushing it or doesn't play a lot of video games.
What did she do?
I jerk offd to her pictures on countless occasions but I never bothered to play SMT4:A so the only scene of her I know is that overtaken by lust thing.
My problem is that she feels like the most otaku/incel pandering character ever. >Professional 14 y/o e-girl assasin who has no emotions >Except after a certain incident in which emotions magically overcome her(one of them being filled with lust, pretty much having an orgasm on screen), she goes full "I LOVE YOU PROTAGONIST-KUN, IM GONNA CALL YOU MASTER FROM NOW ON, IM YOUR PUPPY DOG PLEASE IMPREGNATE ME", while she acts cold towards everyone else, believe me when I say im barely exxagerating it >There's already a love interest for the protagonist so it gives an unnecesary love triangle plot that goes nowhere, except when the love interest dies, in which she later admits she felt relieved when she died because now she can have the protagonist for himself
Also what the other anon mentioned is that you get a choice at the end of the game in which she explicitly says "no matter what you choose, I'll follow and support you" and immediatly after you choose the thing most dont agree with, she tries to kill you.
More or less this. If a guy had a female bully them in school then chances are she wasn't your only bully and you were essentially the schools lightning rod to begin with.
