You guys hyped for the Razer Edge?

You guys hyped for the Razer Edge?
It's got an AMOLED 144 Hz screen, a top of the line Snapdragon gaming SOC, 5G and it's the same price as the Steam deck.
It would be cool if we got a bunch of community stuff for Android gaming and emulation the way the Steam Deck community improved Linux gaming and emulation.

      >cloud gaming only
How many of these Ouya-tier shitter consoles have to fail before they get the message? You’d think the Stadia flopping despite having bloody google financing it would’ve been the final nail in the coffin.

It doesn't matter, Skyline/Switch emulation is getting so good so fast at some point your phone will be able to play the same 100 indies everyone plays on their steam deck

Not much point in it if it's just Android. Kind of impressive mobile gaming never really managed to reach even the lowest standards of quality after so long.

      >Android Gaming Handheld
In the garbage bin it goes

Android is fine for emulators. Though at that point you might as well just get a controller attachment for your phone

I would never pay $400 for anything with Razer build quality.

Because when mobile gaming was first starting to become a thing, it was back when people were still really averse to digital-only games. So nobody would ever buy the decent for-purchase games, which led to all the decent devs willing to work on mobile jumping ship. The only devs left were bottom-barrel jeets making copy-paste asset flips festooned with adverts, and korean/japanese money-vampires making f2p gatcha.

It’s amazing how some of the best mobile games ever made are from like 2008 when the first iPhones were getting popular. JellyCar, Fruit Ninja, Angry Birds. 2-3 others

Why do they even bother entering the handheld PC market? The Steam Deck exists and the razor edge can only do cloud gaming.

Is it a smartphone? It'd be neat if it was a spiritual successor to the Xperia Play.

The only cloud streaming thing I liked was the Wii U game pad, it only had 1 frame of lag (16ms).
Like if one of these frickers could make that with like a 50 foot range I'd buy it for my PC

That thing is programmed to stop working after 2 years, unless you repair the controls with spares that cost half the product

I fricking knew Razer would resell the Junglecat as a standalone device. I've been using it to stream from my pc for 3 years now and it's awesome. My buddies and I call it the samswitch.
