Probably the same way most people do when nutters come up to them randomly and try to explain their idiotic conspiracy theories.

This, there's no reason to believe that the person saying it is telling the truth so OP is a moron in addition to being a homosexual.

It’s not, though. Even if you created a self-insert all-powerful creator in the setting, it would only be you in the sense that a picture of you is you. You don’t exist in that reality, you exist in this one.

As GM I state that this npc is literally me the GM
          what now butthole

            Anonymous

Don’t get me wrong, as creator you have full power to make that kind of decree. But it’s a nonsensical decree within the world’s context.
Let’s put it this way - if we create an agent in that world that seeks the truth, how would they ever be able to logically reason that “you = NPCyou”? Especially when “you” doesn’t exist within that world?
            > inb4 I don’t exist in this world

The GM actually exists as both simultaneously exterior to but as the totality of the game world. The game world exists inside the gm more correctly, with some modifications and reaction from the players. Sort of a holy trinity thing.
All npcs are representatives of the gm, in varying degrees and parts that can never be the entirety of it.

I understand that cosmological setup, but disagree with it because it assumes that the GM/player creates the world rather than discovers it. There’s there’s no evidence either way, and in fact any testing of the matter seems an impossibility, so it seems an imprudent assumption.

Last character got WAAAAY to smart for his own good, and put the pieces together. He even made quotes about "moving the plot along" or grumbled about "someone wanting things to go this way", but was just looked at weird by the other party members, so he eventually just kept quiet.

Only if there’s an unbroken chain of causality preceding the rules of either reality. Which, if you consider a reality to be the ultimate precedent over all its constituents, doesn’t make much sense.
