I find enjoyment in building sets but have no desire to play with them, they’d just sit in a shelf collecting dust forever. My favourite pet of the LEGO games was collecting mini kits and seeing the thing build and grow. Something about progress with building something by is comfy. Thanks for reading my blog.

    miss me with this shit
    >1000 pieces wasted on ground instead of using a baseplate
    >generic sword instead of kokiri's sword
    >master sword has no gem
    >no child zelda and pink adult zelda

    >300 plus tip + taxes + mail

    I hate licensed sets.

While licensed Lego sets are pretty fricking dumb, NOTHING is worse than funkopop. They're so fricking ugly I don't understand why anybody would buy even 1 much less collect them.

The design of the set otherwise looks thoughtful.

Additionally, it reminds me that there could totally be a LEGO Zelda video game

This happens every time. Whales will buy anything, doesn't mean it's reasonably priced. Square-Enix sold out of a $16,000 statue of Terra from FF6.

I seriously doubt a 1x2 flat tile costs anywhere near a normal size piece to make
if we're talking amount of plastic used it's probably about the same

95% of lego pieces are literally worthless. The only thing that matters are the mini figures.
So the 50 extra pieces have a worth of about 10 cent.

This isn't going to just be a limited thing right? They'll make a bunch like they did with the Pac-Man and NES ones right?
I do really want the Zelda set, but I just dropped $700 on Gundam gashapon toys in the past month so I wanted to wait a while, maybe see if the thing shows up in a local store.

They could charge $700 and it would still have sold out in a couple days, doesn't mean its not a scam.

These Lego sets are fricking boring and lazy. Great Deku Tree? Who cares. Have a Lego Master Sword and Hylian shield, dungeon rooms with moveable parts such as traps and chests that open, anything other than just open world areas that take place in the game.

i haven't owned a lego set since picrel but I'll bless this thread with a proper triforce to fit the theme.

I didn't want to spend $300 like that but yeah, I knew Zelda autism combined with Lego autism would be formidable. Maybe I'll keep it sealed for a decade.

Call me an autistic nitpicker but it really bothers me that Child Link's sword isn't the Kokiri Sword or that the Master Sword has a blue israeliteel instead of yellow, how did these type of inaccuracies were approved is baffling, specially because Nintendo is so protective about their IP and everything has to look right while Lego is so meticulous about detail.

          >The set originally came with a generic pilot, and Lego swapped it out for the Finch Dallow figure towards the end of the set's lifespan. The updated set was extremely hard to find, and some of the boxes still showed the original pilot so people didn't know what figure was inside.
(Finch Dallow doesn't appear in any other sets)
why doesn't lego do this more often? it's free money from minifig consoomers
