It deserves that award. Who else would have thought of using procedural generation and ai to create half a game, sell it at full price and then expect everyone else to finish it for you?

This guy is a huge bethesda shill. He literally gets free passes from them.

What even funnier is how much he seethes when other people shit on these games. Just like the RE4 remake. What a soft sensitive pussy

    It's a great game nonetheless.

By what metric? It certainly isn't a good RPG, or a good shooter. The exploration is complete ass and most planets are fricking barren. The story and characters are just "passable" at best. What exactly makes this a great game?

        Anonymous

This is less of an RPG than Balder's Gate, but it's not a table top view game either, so it ballances out.

It's a good spaceship creator game.
It's a lot less good that modded Kerbal 1 but it is kind of good at one thing.

even I was surprised just how generic, soulless, and devoid of talent this piece of slop is. i have no idea how your AAA sci fi epic rpg turns out this uninteresting

It's literally the only sci-fi game on the market that actually simulates life as a space faring civilization. Mass Effect was a visual novel in comparison.

the cities are worse than Skyrim

Really? Towns in Skyrim are 4 houses with cheese wheels inside. You have huge space stations orbiting planets in Starfield, let alone surface and ground cities that are on the planets.

He's mentally moronic, when he was asked how the cities are "the worst cities ever made" in his other thread he had an aneurysm and made this thread

Mods look at this and go "yes Ganker is a babysitter for mentally ill people, but if you make fun of them you're breaking the rules"

What part of that is simulated? The one where people are larping as fricking cowboys?

Consider not dragging me to the mud with you, because I never even said this game is a "sim". I said it "simulates".

        Mass Effect was more immersive.

Probably due to it having better gunplay, animations and graphics.

The planets in Mass Effect were literally all flat.

Frontier: Elite II was a better sim. And it fit on a single disk. I wanna say it was an 880KB one.

    Wrong.
Before Starfield there was anticipation and high hopes for TES6, now everyone knows for a fact it will be irredeemable, boring, bland slop with 0 (zero) lessons learned from previous mistakes.
It also finally changed view of Bethesda from that goofy company, that makes legendary, but full of le funny bugs games, such as Skyrim, into company of incompetent out of touch hacks.
Also Emil discourse is now mainstream.

Mass Effect Andromeda had more memorable aspects than Starfield. Let that sink in.

Many issues in Andromeda were just funny, such as hilarious bugs compilations, animation mistakes, terrible plot, it was overall an entertaining trainwreck. Starfield is just bland, uninteresting snorefest of a game it doesn't even have trademarked Bethesda's funny bugs.

I’m a massive Morrowind/TES fan, and I’m hoping Bethesda will learn from their mistakes and make TESVI good, but we all know that won’t happen. If they frick that up, they’re cooked.
