When it comes to SS2, most characters usually have hair spikier than SS1, and they're left with like 1 or 2 bangs depending on the character as well. For Vegeta, his hair just sticks up further. I think SS2 Cabba and SS2 Kefla are the only ones who don't have a noticable change in their hair.
Yes, it's subtle but it's mainly his two bangs. on top of his hair becoming a little more upright and spikier. The best way would have been to keep Toriyama's original "fluffy" Super Saiyan hairstyles and then have SS2 be the more rigid spikier version that his artstyle would later become.

Detail doesn't equal realism. The stages just look like they're almost out of real life, some of them. It's jarring with the anime models, sort of like Jump Force. I was expecting complete garbage but the game actually surpassed my expectations by having a lot of characters in the base game. Still, I wish they had stuck with the BT3 style. Battles definitely feel slower too.

Game looks soulless. The models are okay but everything else is too realistic. A shame since the gameplay looks alright, albeit slower than previous titles, probably due to xenoverse influence. Give me the BT3 art style, the style that's closest to the show.
I mean, even during that PS2 era, Tenkaichi stages were still pretty detailed. Look at the grass, or the straw roof, or all the grains that dot the stage floor. Tenkaichi always had realistic-looking stages for the time, and now Sparking Zero has the tech to make it even MORE realistic.

"Budokai Tenkaichi" never made sense in the first place. All it did was posture a completely separate set of games as sequels to a series of 2D fighting games (which themselves got the western conceived label "Budokai" to distinguish them from the previous games simply labeled as "Dragon Ball Z.") The series with 3D arena mechanics that was called Budokai Tenkaichi in the west was always called Dragon Ball: Sparking! in Japan.
The appeal in the game is that there are clear strata in the viability of characters. It's technically possible for the Turtle Hermit or Yajirobe or Tao Pai Pai to beat Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, but the player with the handicap has to be much better at the game to do it. And now with the new game, they're encouraging crazy challenges with new tools and allowing players to create their own fanfiction scenarios within the game itself.
How is General Blue supposed to work without pissing people off. He's canonically a gay pedophile who acts like an unfavorable stereotype even if you cut those elements out. It's like putting Bora in the game which would be based, he's still awesome and expecting no one to complain.

I would like to think that would be the case, but Vegito (Super) not being a thing puts that into question. It could just be that they plan on Gogeta (Super) being named as such to distinguish it from SS4 Gogeta (GT).

As the other anon said, they could easily lock SSB Vegetto from Goku (End) and Vegeta (End)'s moveset. Vegetto in DBS did not fight that differently from Vegetto in DBZ. DBS Gogeta on the other hand is practically a completely different character from DBZ Gogeta, especially in terms of fighting style. DBZ Gogeta has very elegant attacks, while DBS Gogeta is lot more flippy-and-dippy.

If that were the case why would all these people care about Tenkaichi at all when Xenoverse already exists and is still getting content? People care about the gameplay because they care about Dragonball and want a game actually designed from ground up with Dragonball Z's fights in mind, not forcing it into a "mold".
Don't forget when Tenkaichi came out, there weren't a bunch of anime arena fighter and it was copying them. Tenkaichi was one of the first ones, with the whole gameplay system designed specifically to mimic the show.

The appeal is the gameplay DBZ simulator, yeah. Which is also why people are looking forward to Tenkaichi over Xenoverse, because Xenoverse although filling a similar niche, sacrifices a lot of the DBZ feeling for its features like multiple characters at once eliminating stuff like beam struggles and making general movement slower, and generic enough animations that can be reused for the custom characters.
Another thing Tenkaichi has over Xenoverse is the freedom of combat. XV2 only gives characters like 10 different combos, while Tenkaichi usually gave every character up to 40-50 different combos and techniques. And luckily, Sparking Zero is bringing all of that back!

Shenron's power is essentially fixed in relation to how powerful Dende and Piccolo are. Kami couldn't even come close to destroying the Saiyans' spaceships at that distance, so Shenron would just come up short at best.
Shenron has a special relationship to the Otherworld, and even then, he needs consent to revive people and move them around. Shenron couldn't bring Goku back from Yardrat even though they knew where he was because Goku wanted to stay and complete his training there.
If the air is so thin it looks like you're in space, you're pretty much in space. Namek was totally destroyed and its atmosphere was blown completely away. If you want to get into the dubiously canon, we see Bardock and a huge number of Saiyans doing exactly the same thing before God Ki was even a concept.
The filler episodes from the Saiyan saga showed Vegeta and Nappa taking at least one pit stop on a planetoid that clearly did not have an atmosphere.
I still think it's a huge missed opportunity that they haven't rehabilitated Cell in the same way they've done for Vegeta, Frieza and Buu. He's the only major villain who hasn't been explored further.
Honestly, I'd also like to see Vegeta actually apply his character development retrospectively and at least show regret or grief over causing the deaths of a significant portion of the last vestiges of his people. It has always bothered me that Nappa and Raditz are just as irrelevant to a Vegeta who has learned to care for more than himself and his station in the world as they were to a Vegeta who was singularly focused on cultivating strength in order to take revenge and the consolation prize of taking Frieza's military power for himself.

King Piccolo planned a terroristic lottery system for genocide. He gets rehabilitated as Piccolo Jr.
Vegeta and Nappa were essentially killing at random. Vegeta kills in cold blood multiple times on Namek. He willingly lets himself be controlled by Babidi for power. He's not held accountable for that.
Frieza doesn't get rehabilitated as such, I probably should have used a different word. But he does end up forced to cooperate with the good guys.
The first form of Buu, who's talked up as a creature of pure chaotic malice and violence, literally gets rehabilitated, and the other part ends up reincarnated as Uub.
Cell is the only major villain in Dragon Ball to just be totally gone after his saga ended. Which I will reiterate, I think is a missed opportunity because his motivations and attitude have obvious ways to redirect them towards less destructive and maybe even virtuous ends. The Xenoverse games give some indication of what that would be like, and it's pretty fun, for what little there is.

Sparking Zero has local multiplayer. Other player isn't relegated to just firing beams. It is a fully fledged local multiplayer that only can be played on a single map. You can still fight and pull off every move possible.
